NEVER EVER AGAIN EVER. I placed a Door Dash order. I ordered a king fish meal with rice peas and cabbage. The restaurant called and said they would add shrimp because the fish was small. Here is the thing. That fish should not have been sold to anyone. They should have said they were out of king fish. This fish was slightly larger then a 50 cent piece. Put your finger and thumb together and open it a tiny bit. That's how much fish they tried to give me and it was a end piece not center cut like other restaurants give. Come on now. You have to have some integrity in businesses. The rice was dry and the cabbage was all stem. This was a disaster meal and the reason why I only patronize 1 Caribbean restaurant in Baltimore. I tried a different one and got this foolishness. I call and someone offered to refund the meal. Maybe they will maybe they won't but They won't get another coin from me. read more

I had the curry chicken! It was pretty good, they give you a large portion. Towards the middle of the dish I could taste like cumin or something with a cinnamon like flavor. I can tell that they recently changed cooks. Quality of food is not the same as it was a couple months ago. When I order jerk chicken and say dark meat, I want dark meat and not white meat. They seem to not really care anymore and through whatever in the box. The checker looks like it was warmed up from yesterday's left overs and more sauce pored on it. I ordered a small oxtail with coco bread, it was with rice and peas and steamed vegetables. The platter didn't seem like it was enough but it surely was. Omg This was so delicious. Got the jerk chicken patty, fried plantain, and brown stew chicken. Portions are great and food is spicy. You can taste each spice and the char of the grill. Let me just say that I am very picky eater and am very particular about my food. But one food delicacy that I absolutely love is Jamaican food. It is hard to find great Jamaican food and Fiyah Island is one of those gems. I LOVE THEIR FOOD! You get a great, healthy portion of food and the speed of service is excellent. My only complaint is that plantains should come with the meal but since this is my favorite spot where I order from almost everyday, I'll let that slide. I just got done talking to my co-workers about this place. Hands down, the best meat over rice I've had. And it's HALAL (it is SO SO hard to find halal)!!! They even included extra wings for me (at no additional cost) because I called them and told them I would like to try them! I ordered from this place many times. Within the last 2 months I've had issues with how they handled my order, but this time was the worst. I ordered the stir fry and a side of plantain through UberEats. When it arrived I began eating, and bit something hard. When I looked at it, it was a piece of chicken bone. So I looked further and noticed I didn't get stir fry at all. Instead they gave me rice with curry chicken gravy. I was extremely livid because I don't eat meat. That's why I got stir fry because it's vegetable. The curry sauce they usually cook in with the veggies. But this time they were so lazy that they didn't cook anything, just threw curry chicken gravy on the rice. Now I have to worry about vomiting for the remainder of the evening because of laziness and negligence. I even spoke with the restaurant about it and the guy that answered could care less.
