Arrived to find she had taken on someone else because she said she wasn't sure I was coming. I should've left then. She convinced me to stay saying, she can call someone and they'd be here in 5 mins. I agreed because I really needed one. She had me pay upfront (something I've never done). For full body with concentration on Feet it was $95. Okay fine, Paid. I was taken to a stuffy room to wait for Amy who arrived moments later. Sheets clean but not fresh. First thing that caught my eye was a Nivea lotion. (It's not what Amy -Masseuse, who arrived 10 mins later) used on me, but who knows. The massage was fine and she did listen and ask questions about pressure, but she spent less time of my barking puppies (feet) and I wanted. It just felt rushed. I had it on my mind what I would tip since I do work in the service industry, and no matter what I do try to still be grateful for their time. I got dressed, came out to see a woman I had not seen before standing with Amy. I handed Amy the tip I decided on, but then the lady with her watched Amy count my money and looked at me asking if I had anymore $. She proceeded to show me a Tip Chart (I also was not aware of) and said I was supposed to pay this. I reached into my bag disgusted and regretful, I handed Amy more than I should have, and quickly left. That place needs to be investigated. I know how businesses depend on Customer Reviews for their businesses, and I am very careful with leaving reviews, because I know many are truly open to Improve, if something's off or it's a bad day. How amazing! What a find. The girls were super cute and attentive. My massage therapist was one of the best ones I've ever had. So strong and she found all of my spots. I saw the "Verified License" flag by Yelp but judging from the massage my partner & I received, I seriously question whether our massage therapists knew what they were doing or if they were licensed at all. The place was clean but the ambiance was not relaxing to say the least: - Masseuse wore heels & it echoed throughout the place - Music was not relaxing; took time out of my partner's session to change the playlist in the middle of our massage so they played songs for 10-15 seconds to skip to the next. You can literally look up *spa music* and it would've been a better choice than pop music with lyrics that they choose. - No pressure applied throughout my session (felt like I was just being caressed) and the rare occasion he did, it was on top my bones; uncomfortable. - He pressed his thumbs on my kneecaps in a circular motion, he wasn't applying any pressure nor did it feel comfortable so I asked him to stop and just focus on my calves and feet--he did neither. - full session he just grazed his hands on my skin. - Manager/my partner's masseuse had the audacity to ask my partner for more money to tip. EDIT: In response to the business owner's poor attempt at making amends. It is SUSPICIOUS that the 5-star reviews below have only rated this place... I should've taken heed at others' warning but was blinded by the fake reviews you most probably created. Clearly, your customer service needs improvement. Really uncomfortable experience for both myself and my wife. Arrived for a scheduled massage at 1pm about 7 mins early... massage didn't start start until 1:05.... then 7 mins later, the person massaging me left the room to help another customer for 5 mins. No worries, I thought, because there was a clock in the room and I figured they would make up for the time at the end. Now onto the massage... It felt like I was being caressed or pet the entire time, and when I kindly asked the woman to go harder she did for about 2 mins... then went back to the caressing. I also felt that there was no method to the massage, it felt erratic and random. The oil was nice, but I felt like a lot of my body was missed. Now at the end of the massage.. the woman left the room again for about 3 minutes to go help another customer... totaling 13 minutes or so of missed massage time. Massage lady comes back, stretches me out and does the little pat thing towards the end telling you the massage is over. I get up, only to realize she turned the clock that was facing the massage bed. Turned it around: 1:59pm The worst part about this place is that they make you pay & tip before the massage... that should have been a red flag. Wife's massage was just as bad by the way.. Unprofessional. Overpriced. And not worth it even for a Swedish Massage. First, they had us waiting in the massage rooms while they looked for music. After awhile they settled on something with Asian lyrics, something you might here at an Asian restaurant. It wasn't relaxing tunes at all. Very light pressure. The one time she asked if the pressure was ok, it was actually ok but reverted back to soft touches within a couple of minutes. She used latex gloves for the massage, they were very loose and I just kept feeling the material rub up on me. She also wore heels the whole time and you can't apply correct pressure when you don't have the right shoes. Every other step she took, took me out of the tiniest bit of relaxation I had going on... Don't waste your $$... Me and my BF went there for foot massages after being on our feet in the parks all day. 1st red flag was she wanted me to prepay for the service. I agreed trying to give her the benefit on the doubt. She wanted cash but I wanted to use my credit card, she kept pushing me for cash or debit card but I kept insisting on the of payment I wanted to use. The finally relented and accepted my form of payment after charging me a fee per person for CC payment. . Well.. the massage sucked, I could of rubbed my own feet better than she did. I told her that I wanted more pressure applied and was ignored. Afterwards, we were leaving and she started begging me for a tip, I tried to explain why I wasn't providing a tip and she kept cutting me off and wouldn't allow me to explain why I wasn't tipping her. After 4 days on my feet at a convention, I was dying for a massage. This place was not too far from my hotel so I decided to give it a shot as it is newly opened and other established options were booked since it's Valentine's Day. I opted for the 1 hour total body massage for $60. This is not one of the $30 foot massage places although it is Asian owned and staffed. You do pay first but the staff is not obnoxious about it. It's in a strip mall next to a gas station but, once inside, it was very clean and the massage room was nicely furnished and quiet. The massage therapist did a great job. She was very thorough and alternated between deep tissue and Swedish massage plus some stretching. Although she didn't soak my feet in the hot water like the places that mainly offer foot massage do, she started the massage by wrapping my feet in hot, wet towels while she worked on my back which felt great. The massage also included hot stones and she used more hot towels to remove all of the massage oil when she was finished. The massage lasted a full hour...not just 50 minutes and, all in all, was a great experience. I'll definitely go there again next time I'm in town. read more

I TRIED EXPLAINING THAT I HAD BEEN IN A BAD CAR ACCIDENT AND NEEDED A ROUGH MASSAGE FOR THE ONGOING BACK STIFFNESS.
