If we could do it over I would have booked direct, since our trip never got communicated to the captain. We showed up and called since no one was there, thankfully Captain Mike was able to set aside his plans for the day to take my wife and I fishing. We moved our trip back by an hour, and Captain Mike took us on the Compass Rose. It was a great time running 30 miles offshore and over 70 miles total to track down some dolphin (Mahi Mahi not flipper as Capt Mike said). Pulled in some nice fish and a few tiny ones and kept enough to have a few good meals. We learned a lot, Capt Mike had us be very hands on helping with things. He was patient since we were complete rookies at offshore fishing. I would definitely do it again, such a fun experience!

Omg! Can't say enough good stuff about Jeff and Kelly and our 2 night stay on Jeff's beautiful sail…read moreboat. It is docked in a prime slip in Key West. As a guest you have full access to the on-site hotel facilities. The pool, bar, shower, etc. you also have full access to the beautiful, immaculate facilities in the marina, bathrooms, showers, laundry, etc. we were greeted by, Kelly. She is a doll, really fun and sweet and she bought us a drink from the bar on arrival! The boat is beautiful, clean and spacious. The bed in the berth is really comfy. "Alexa" is on board as well as a charging station. There is stove, and dishes and cookware and the very important coffee making provisions! There were cold drinks and condiments in the cooler. The boat is climate controlled! (Weren't expecting that!) If that wasn't enough, our host, Jeff took is a boat captain and Kelly just got her captain's license! They took us out on our lodging accomodations to a sweet reef spot for some great snorkeling. Jeff snorkeled with us and showed us so large lobsters! We all saw a huge Jew Fish and many other fish. Jeff is very generous and very accomodating and goes out of his way to ensure you have a great time and that you have everything you need. Next time we go to Key West, we will definitely stay on his boat or... maybe his other bigger, 2 bedroom boat!! Thank you Jeff and Kelly for a superb experience!!!

I definitely understood that they were a small business and wanted to do the right thing and accept this, and hopefully we would be able to use it at a later date. However, we not are not in a position to make it to Florida and really do need out $600 back. I know that they are back in business and I know the tourism industry is bouncing back, so I would hope that they could accommodate this request. I have repeatedly emailed and called both Rebecca and Jeff and they have continued to not respond and are simply ignoring me. It is very frustrating to give a small business the benefit of the doubt and to not have this courtesy repaid. I would be wary about booking anything with them.

I'll start by saying I fully understand a ships captain cannot control if there is a bite or not…read morebut there are many thing within their control. So that said, I'll begin. The boat showed up just in time as it needed fuel. No problem. We get on board for the "tour" to be greeted with a list of things that were wrong with the boat and how we should work around them. There were many things wrong here. The boat is disgusting. The bathroom is worse than some I've been in third world countries. I couldn't even bring myself to take a picture. Dirt and grime was everywhere. The first mate lit his first cigarette shortly after we left. I went inside until he was done then explained I can't be around smoke for health reasons. To his credit, he did respect that for the rest of the trip. Just wish he would have asked first. The captain and the first mate clearly had some conflict. The whole interaction between them is just uncomfortable to watch. We went to a couple different places...not one nibble. I know that's not their fault but definitely put the cherry on top of this unpleasant voyage. I expect more for $800 for four hours. I would never go with this charter again. At least we had something nice to look at on the water.

He took me, my brother, my husband Travis, and my sister n law Karen out for a 6-hour fishing trip, and it was hands-down the best charter we've ever been on. First off, he's the most reasonable captain out there -- seriously, we checked. Second, he put us right on the fish. Not "oh look, a little nibble" fish... I mean Cobia, Mutton Snapper, and Key West Mahi like he had them waiting for us with reservations. I even caught my first cobia -- 44 inches long -- and I'm still bragging about it. Captain Bryce cheered us on the whole time, helped with everything, and somehow managed to keep all of us untangled, baited, and reeling like we knew what we were doing. The man is a saint with a fishing rod. He's docked right outside Schooner Wharf Bar, which makes it dangerously convenient to celebrate afterwards. Bryce is a MUST-CALL. We're already planning to come back for a full-day trip because six hours wasn't enough for this level of awesome. Book him. Seriously. Your cooler, your photos, and your ego will thank you.

As part of that rental, he took us out on a charter on the Adventurous Spirit. We went dolphin watching, snorkeling, and just soaked up the rays. We would have gone lobstering as well, but it was our last day there. Again, Eddie is very nice, knowledgeable, and flexible. After interacting with him regularly for four days, I can promise you that Eddie will do everything he can to make your experience an enjoyable one. If you're looking for a relaxing and fun charter, I would recommend it. If you're looking to do 30 different activities on the charter in one afternoon, this might not be the one for you.
