Through his guidance and network of dentists he sent me for a root canal early on - which was relatively painless thanks to the medications he gave me and his communication with the endodontist. (I have a major fear of detal work so this was a big deal for me.) It's been nothing but improvement and new bone growth and recovery since then. Thanks to his guidance and laser treatments, I don't need the flap/jaw replacement surgery. He is super reachable and his assistant, Anika, is also awesome. They both do whatever they can to help and send me off with lots of toothbrushes and oral rinses. He accommodates my busy schedule too. He is pretty pricey, but I am very glad I spent the money. Worth every cent, and Anika works to get insurance reimbursement if possible. 10/10 would recommend.

He did beautiful dental and cosmetic work, but also seemed genuinely interested in my feedback throughout the process, to ensure I felt not just good but great about the final product. He was meticulous about color matching to make sure everything looked natural but improved, which was a pain point for other dentists. He also provided a number of cost options and helped me evaluate the best option based on what was important to me. Dr. Tetri managed to do all this while exuding patience and completing my appointments quickly. For me going to the dentist is a bit different than most people. I had a traumatic experience 4 years ago that has not just affected my life but my ability to bring myself to a dentist. So recently a crown broke and I had to find a dentist.... a really good one.... I did my homework and came up with a few in NYC... By fate or luck I ended up in Dr. Tetri chair. He is really really good at what he does...but for me it was refreshing to not be forced or pushed to do more than what was needed.... I mean if you want the works there probably is no better place to get it I have studied the photos he is the best in town...... and someday I may want that but for now I just want a dentist that is great at what he does and loves what he does, a trustworthy Dr. So far that is what I have found... I have much more work to be done but I have found a place where the staff is knowledgeable and pleasant. I could go on and on, BUT if you're looking for dental or cosmetic work, I would absolutely recommend Dr. Tetri. The treatment I received was honest, friendly, and empathetic throughout the long process. I always knew exactly what is being done, what the next steps are, what I should and should not be doing when I get home, and what to do if I need help or have questions. It turns out I had gingival hyperplasia, which usually happens when your wisdom teeth become impacted. But my wisdom teeth were removed during my college years so I thought there was another issue. My orthodontist recommended me to Dr. Sarmiento and it was the best decision! Him and his office staff are so pleasant. He has great bedside manner and explained everything to me in detail. I had planned to have a minor procedure done at the end of March but when an earlier spot opened up, I took it. He used a laser to remove the excess gum tissue and it was painless. First, without telling the patient beforehand, Stephen J Klein deceived me into signing for cancer diagnosis without any explanation, which is illegal. I never asked Stephen J Klein to get a cancer diagnosis, but Stephen J Klein deceitfully misled me into thinking I was signing for a tooth extraction. The doctors, nurses, and secretary never mentioned the tumor diagnosis to me. Now Stephen J Klein keeps threatening me and overly charged me 500$. Second, I had already had an x-ray diagnosis done at another clinic. X-ray results showed that Stephen Klein did not successfully complete the bone engraft. This is a very serious medical accident. However, Stephen J Klein still threatened me and overly charged me 500$. Third, during the process of extracting my teeth, Stephen Klein did not wait for the anesthesia to take effect before forcefully extracting my teeth, which caused me tremendous pain. Although I repeatedly emphasized to Stephen Klein that the anesthetic had not taken effect, he did not consider my feelings at all and forcibly extracted the tooth, causing me extreme pain. This is a severe medical malpractice. I was deceived by dentist Hiroko Akimoto into going to this Stephen Klein's clinic, so Hiroko Akimoto should also bear the corresponding responsibility. Hiroko Akimoto is supposed to not send any patients to assist Stephen Klein to keep deceiving more patients. I just want to extract out one tooth, but Stephen J Klein misled me to extract three of my teeth. She made what is for most people a very stressful and painful experience into nothing but a positive experience. Her warm, caring and above all super competent approach put my son totally at ease. He greeted me at the end of the procedure with a smile on his face. Dr. Kaplan is very good with adolescents. After the actual procedure went very well despite the fact that it was a difficult surgery because my son's teeth were horizontal I was quite concerned about the postoperative pain and swelling. To my surprise my son hardly had any pain at all which I can only attribute to Dr. Kaplan's surgical technique. I would highly recommend Dr. Kaplan for any surgical procedure. She is very special!

Marie, the dental hygenist, does a wonderful job helping me maintain my teeth. Lisa at the front desk keeps things running smoothly. I was told a price ahead of time and when I checked out it was 200 dollars more I questioned it and was told because they went through my crown instead of my actual tooth.. I ended up just paying but definitely had a bad taste in my mouth. Get this even after I paid more than what I was quoted I'm still getting a bill! The worst part about all of this is that I ended up getting this very tooth extracted it was causing me so much pain still! Turns out they left part of a tool from the root canal in my canal and cement. After going and getting a cone scan my dentist confirmed! It's so obvious on the X-ray too. I lost my tooth and they still want more money from me! I say run as fast as you can. I'm in the process of getting a lawyer. I want my money back. This has caused me so much emotional stress and anxiety.
