Honestly, do not go here. You're probably better off with Wally or one of these other no-frills dentist outfits. I was handed over to Zendentistry when my old dentist retired. They slotted me in with someone I was not comfortable with from the start. Immediately, the culture changed. If you like Grand Central, they bring it right into the dentist's office. Assistants rushing around, people chatting and clanging into things. A real display of chaos that makes dental work feel like a construction site. The new dentist did a cleaning and told me my crown would probably fall off. It did. I went back. They cleaned the area, treated what needed to be treated, and replaced the crown. Immediately, I could feel that something was wrong. My bite was grinding, and the gap around the crown was all I could feel when I ate. I went back and had them adjust the bite. When I questioned the gap, I was told it had always been there. Too dismissive, too defensive. I knew what my mouth felt like before the crown was replaced, and I knew what it felt like afterward. I got a second opinion. That dentist thought the entire thing needed to be redone. Instead of stepping back and reconsidering the work, I was eventually pressured into letting them do a bridge. That bridge failed along with the crown they had placed, leaving me dealing with the consequences and looking for yet another dentist. And the way they handled my questions was almost as troubling as the work itself. The dentist who did the procedure was laughing and joking with colleagues while stretching out my mouth. When I questioned the results, I felt dismissed and pressured rather than listened to. At one point I was told my tooth was moving, then the dentist told me it had been a difficult job. That was news to me. It certainly wasn't communicated while she was working on me. If you like the feeling of being rushed through dental work, pressured into additional treatment, and then made to feel like you're the problem when you question the results, you'll love this place. One thing they are really good at is dodging responsibility. The managers seem to have plenty of time away from the office when you're trying to get help with a problem. I like a dentist who is communicative, careful, and knows what they're doing. This is not my dentist. I will never go back. Best of luck with your dental search. A good dentist is a real find. AWFUL - never in my life have i seen this level of incompetence. I had an appointment scheduled 4 weeks in advance to have an implant placed. I show up to the appointment and it seems in the 4 week prior they never submitted the prior authorization to my insurance company- so i was at the appointment no reason and received no care that day with no apology or explanation. 3 weeks later, again, I have an appointment and AGAIN my insurance company has not heard from them. I asked for a breakdown of what the fees would be and they would not provide that to me...it has now been 7 week, hours on the phone with their HORRIBLE staff, I have received no care, and my insurance co hasnt heard from them and they will not provide me with a cost breakdown for services. I now have a new dentist because who wants to deal with any of this...surely not me. Go anywhere but here. read more

Every time we swing by for our appointments, it's like catching up with old buddies. Oh, and did I mention the view? Their place overlooks Central Park, which just takes the whole experience up a notch. I mean, who knew going to the dentist could be this chill? But here's the real kicker - now even our 6-year-old is in on the action. Yep, the whole fam is getting our pearly whites checked by these dental legends. This is an update to my original review. The owner contacted me about the situation exactly 24hours after the post 2 months ago to the day. He apologized, agreed, and told me the office would contact me the next day to reimburse the over payment. I was contacted by the office saying the owner instructed me to reimburse for the over payment but it was never reimbursed. Quality of work was good. The unfairness and overcharge was wrong. Doctor Yeres is the best. He's top-notch--careful, caring, kind, and always ready to squeeze you in for an appointment if you have a dental emergency. He worked patiently with my fear of dental work--I grew up in the 1960s, when drills were slow and dental pain wasn't uncommon--to the point that I'm now utterly relaxed in his chair, confident that I'm in the best of hands. I recommended this dental office. I wasn't happy with reception but after that the doctor and assistant were fantastic. They are competent caring and attentive . I had my teeth cleaned and the assistant, Gloria , put numbing cream on my gums which no one has ever done before - it made a huge difference. She also treated me like I was at a spa. Dr Sharma is kind, listens, knows what he's talking about and my cleaning didn't hurt one but even though I've recessing gums. The office is a peaceful white and cream color . Stephanie has always had my back--she reached out to confirm my appointment and made an effort to shift things to prevent me from having to wait between my cleaning and my whitening. Awesome. Dr. Park was tremendous--turns out that we have a similar appreciation for good shoes--and she took the time to explain every step of the cleaning. I find it all fascinating, so it's a nice touch. The biggest surprise was my whitening. The tech who applied the whitening gel took great care in applying everything thoroughly, and I made it through the thirty-minute procedure without any pangs of sensitivity.
