Later, he called back and said that he was not able to fix it after all. I picked up my phone and he did not return the deposit. (I believe I lost about $30, just for letting him unsuccessfully try fixing it.) I then went to the Apple Store and they were able to fix it for about $5 more than iSmartDoctor was charging. Also, the Apple Store assured me that if they were not able to fix it, I would not have to pay anything. I have learned my lesson. This place has absolutely the WORST service ever I went it to get a cracked screen on a ipad repaired and after over five hours, I was returned a broken ipad. Yes, it would no longer power on, no matter the length of the charge. I returned it to the owner and explained my problem. In turn, he became rude and demeaning and explained how it's my fault and he's not responsible for the damage. But when I brought it in, it was working and powered on just fine. The only repaired needed was the broken screen. This place is a total SCAM and I believe they steal functioning tools from people's devices and use his scam policy to cover his back. We've dealt with iSmartDoctor twice now. First time was about a year and a half ago for a broken iPad screen. My husband dropped it on a bathroom floor and cracked it. We had a trip coming up and they got it repaired very fast! Second time was just this week, our two year old is pretty rough on the device and same iPad screen had a crack in the top and was starting to lift/separate from the device due to the corner being bent inward. They were able to repair the bend in the metal corner and replace the screen. We also had an issue after getting it back where the iPad was acting possessed- apps turning on and typing on its own. I brought my iPad in to get the screen fixed, as it was cracked. I dropped it off on a Saturday and got it back on Monday, which was a great turnaround time. They had me check everything to see if it was fixed to my liking, which it looked like it was. The screen looked practically brand new! When I got it home and started to use it, I noticed it started acting weird and didn't open my apps correctly. I immediately called and spoke to Dale. Dale is awesome. The place is kind of hard to find. Its on the corner of el mirage road, there is a gas station on the corner. It is in a small shopping center that has an apartment complex behind it. When you drive through it there will be a restaurant called BJ'S and inside that 2 story building is this business IsmartDoctor. You have to take the stairs or elevator to the second floor and then you will see a sign on one of the doors for the business. Dale was very fast and cheap prices. My phone wasent charging and needed a new charging port installed. Dale fixed it the next day and charged me less than half of what Sprint wanted to charge me even with insurance on my phone. 10/10 read more

Dale is a complete asshole!! My 3 year old dropped her ipad and it still worked just fine for 2 weeks. We finally got around to getting it fixed and went here. Took it in paid my $75 waited a week (they said they would call when it was ready but never did). Brought the ipad home and the screen would go crazy every time we tried to touch it. (This wasn't happening the two weeks after we dropped it). We called and Dale very rudely told us to bring it back. Took the thing back another week goes by of us calling every day and finally they tell us to go get it. I get there and get home and the damn thing is still going crazy. Called and took it back in 2 weeks go by with no call back and they finally tell us it is ready...I go to pick it up with my 2 littles in the hot summer to show up and hear it still isn't fixed. We call almost every day for 2 months and they keep telling us the same thing, not ready yet not ready yet. My husband stopped in and the reception lady tells him the new tech broke something when we brought it in the first time and they can't figure out how to fix it. A few more weeks go by and Dale calls to tell us our ipad is broken and he can't fix it. My husband went to pick up our still broken ipad and Dale doesn't even talk to him when he asks about a refund just turns his back and walks away. I called demanding my money back and Dale tells me that I can bring my ipad back and he will charge me $30 to put the broken screen back on and then he will refund me $20. He was incredibly rude, didn't take any responsibility for breaking my daughters ipad, didn't return any calls, kept our ipad for over 3 months and now because of their tech it is worse off than before. I won't go into the issue of the repair right now as it is an open case with the BBB, but just be aware that Dale the owner has possibly the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I could not receive a call back in a timely manner and was told that they would see "if we can get him to call you back" so I filed a complaint with the BBB. Finally this morning I received a call back from a very angry Dale. I wanted to have a conversation with him regarding the repair issue, I was calm and collected... he immediately started demeaning me and speaking in a very raised voice. (Also before he brings it up in his defense of this post... no I am not the person who dropped off or picked up the phone...but I am the owner of the phone & am perfectly capable of reading the contract warranty that was signed regarding their policies. Also I have been in the tech field/customer service field for many years so I am fully aware of how customers should be treated). From the time we started speaking, until he HUNG UP on me..he had a raised & escalated tone as well as just a very demeaning attitude. It was left as the person who dropped off the phone needs to go in to speak with him, which they will be but I am sure they will receive basically the same treatment. I have read other reviews of the same behavior that he tries to defend...but treating customers that way is not defend-able. I am sure he will say he has the recorded call that shows he didn't speak to me that way, but I also have the recorded call that would say otherwise. This review is on NOTHING OTHER THAN THE CUSTOMER SERVICE I RECEIVED. I am not reviewing the repair, or even the shop itself.... just the CUSTOMER SERVICE. Just be forewarned by the multiple reviews, that if you come and there is no issue than apparently you will have a good experience with this shop..but if you have an issue than just expect the customer service to be a nightmare P.S: I see he responded to my review & I can't reply...but keep in mind I already acknowledged that I was not the person who dropped off the phone. iPhone went "dead" from the time I left my house to when I arrived at Lowe's. Tried to look at photos of a product I'd taken at home but phone would not turn. Stopped at Best Buy a few stores away for them to check out the iPhone and was told it was a battery problem and try to charge it for half a day to see if that brings it back. Decided to call Dale at iSmartDoctor, told him the problem, said to bring it in so he could look at it. Was there in 30 minutes--Dale brought it back to "life" in just a few minutes. Seems that the software had shutdown for some unknown reason (Dale said it does that sometimes for no apparent reason) and all I needed to do was put it back on the charger.
