Dr. Brandon & the crew are the best. I made appt for my 15yr old son that just had his braces removed from another orthodontist at Canyon Dental. I'm looking for a permanent bottom retainer for my son. after Dr. B examine my son, he asked me how did I like the results of my sons teeth after 2yrs of braces ?? I said I still see a over bite and Dr. B agreed.he still has an over bite and his bite is not straight. long story short Dr. B was 100% honest with me. He could of took my money and said nothing was wrong but he didn't. he suggests I should go back and talk to the orthodontist at Canyon Dental and have him fix my sons overbite & make sure my sons teeth are aligned. Dr. B is even going to go out of his way to reach out to the orthodontist at Canyon Dental to make sure all is corrected . I'll definitely will be returning! Dr. Ly is an absolute jewel in Corona. I took my two year old for a regular cleaning and also a cavity concern regarding one of her bottom tooth. Dr. Ly was able to confirm it was a cavity and found two more cavities. Rather than just telling me, he made an effort to show me where the cavities were. He was also extremely patient and gentle with my LO (little one) even though she nearly blew his ear drums with her screaming. Due to the lack of compliant a usual two year old has, in order to fill the cavities, he suggested three possible options: 1. Use a restraint and try his best to fill the cavities, 2. Have a doctor of anesthesia work side by side with him to sedate my two year old and he fill the cavities, take x-rays to thoroughly examine if there are any other issues or cavities, and do a thorough cleaning, 3. Wait another 6 months or so and see if my LO will be more or at least somewhat compliant since at this point my LO has zero compliance. After offering the options, he allowed me to take my time to digest the information and I was very thankful for that since sometimes medical professionals are pushy for a decision. I decided on the second option and made an appointment about one month out in order to do more research regarding the sedation of a toddler. I went home and discussed the option with my husband, as well as further research and found that Dr. Ly's offer of a separate doctor of anesthesiology to administer the anesthesia, provide oxygen to my LO throughout the procedure, and monitor her breathing and heart rate for the whole procedure was uncommon. Most dentist will administer the anesthesia, conduct the dental procedure, and monitor the patient simultaneously by themselves with no separate anesthesiologist. As a parent, I cannot imagine taking the latter option. My LO's safety is always a priority and I am so glad I was able to find a dentist that cares more about his patients than financial gain. I decided to call the office back and reschedule the appointment to an earlier date since I feel more assured of the option. This morning my husband and I took our LO to get the cavities filled. Dr. Ly came to the waiting room and explained step by step everything that he would be doing. Then, Dr. Lee (Anesthesiologist) came to meet with us and explained step by step everything that he would be doing. They were both very professional and greatly eased my anxiety. There were also two dental assistants that were there to assist Dr. Ly and Dr. Lee. Within an hour, Dr. Ly came to inform us that everything went well and took us back to see our LO and as I walked through the hall, I saw Dr. Lee holding my LO as if she were his child. He gently handed her to me and both doctors continuously checked on her for the next 30 minutes before assuring that we were able to take her home. She was groggy for the next couple of hours, yet afterwards, was running around back to her normal self. She only had clear liquids for the first three hours and then pretty much ate regular from there forth. I am so grateful for both doctors and all the staffs at iSmiles Kids Dentistry. I will continue to bring my LO to see Dr. Ly for regular cleanings and even if I end up moving, if there is ever a procedure (hopefully not) that requires my LO to be sedated, I will definitely drive back here. I have been going to ISmiles for orthodontic treatment for about 3 years now and it has been a pleasure. I went to another orthodontist and did not enjoy my time there. Update I have been taking my kids to iSmiles for a couple years now. Two of my kids see Dr Brandon for their braces and the process has always been amazing. My daughter recently broke her retainer and the staff was able to get her an appointment within a couple days. I was nervous it would be awhile to be seen and get a new retainer but they always amaze me with their customer service. I had the best experience today and so did my girls. The staff was friendly. The office was comfy and clean. They have iPads and games for the kids to play with while they wait for there name to be called. The same movie is playing through out the office and the exam rooms. The scheduling was a little difficult at first I had to call twice in order to schedule but well worth it. They gave the girls a tooth brush kit with tooth paste and floss plus a toy from the treasure box. read more

I went to iSmiles as a referral for second opinion. The dentist helped me out and reviewed my sons prior x-rays. He agreed with my current dentist and let me know the front desk receptionist would give me prices on the work to be performed. Price was significantly less if I compared apples to apples of the work to be done, except this dentist recommended my son be put under for his work instead of trying the laughing gas which is a mandatory $900 more since the insurance doesn't cover. I was not opposed to this option but needed to discuss with my husband. As we were discussing pricing/scheduling, there were kids coming out of the office with toothbrush bag that my son is used to getting when he visits the dentist. My son is about to be 4 years old and he asked me for a bag. I looked over the dental assistant that had helped me before the dentist and asked him if my son could get a toothbrush bag. Him along with the receptionist looked at me like I was asking for something out of the ordinary. His response was... "hmmm I would have to ask". He walked away I'm assuming to ask. Not sure if the dentist himself said no but he returned to not only ignore me but call the next patient pretending I never asked. It was so awkward all for "at most" $3 toothbrush bag. Receptionist herself who was there the entire time didn't address it either. I would have had no problem if they weren't allowed to give us one as long as they let us know politely. There's always a polite way to speak to clients without making them feel stupid and they definitely need some training on that, specially over a kids toothbrush. I would rather pay more somewhere where I'm treated right than give my business to a rude office. read more

Nice office , little small of a waiting area. I've worked with lot of dentists in past and have took my toddler and 12 month old to same one in lake Elsinore until other day .. Came here to get a second opinion ,my doctor told me to wait till she's 3 to fix her chip. The doctor here said totally something different which is common I guess... he said he wouldn't fill it at all ! I'm not going to have her with a chipped front tooth she's 2 1/2 ! He said she would break it from using a pacifier when I tried telling him that we cut it ... Sticking to my other dentist ! Definitely won't be back .. And his attitude isn't that great .. My kids had gone to the same dentist since my oldest was a toddler (now 23). This was the first pediatric dentist I'd tried in 23 years and I was pleasantly surprised by the outstanding professionalism of the staff and the service provider. They were up front about their fees, which were extremely reasonable. Dr. Ly was a joy to meet. He was honest, humble, knowledgeable, patient, kind and thorough! I witnessed several children come out of the treatment area after receiving treatment and every single one was calm, poised and still interested in visiting the play area "post-treatment"! This spoke volumes to me. My son received four fillings under Nitrous Oxide and had to be numbed on one side for the deeper cavities and this is a photo of him immediately following treatment! I am so happy with this office. A year and a half ago my three year old had a tooth infection and was traumatized during treatment by our previous dentist. After two more less than stellar visits to other pediatric dentists in Corona I brought her to iSmiles. We were treated with gentleness and respect. Dr. Ly answered all my questions and put me at ease with a treatment plan for my daughter. She needed an extraction under general anesthesia and all went well. My daughter enjoys her check ups now, but asks to make sure it's not our "old dentist." The office is clean and modern and peaceful. The toys are a great bonus and the kids love the movies throughout the rooms and iPads in the waiting room. ;) I have brought all five of my kids and there's never a long wait. Dr. Brandon Hoang is hands down the best Orthodontist!! His staff are all extremely friendly and took care of my daughter with kind, gentle hands. Pinal, you were always so warm and sweet! Everyone is so welcoming and professional. The office is extremely clean and well cared for. Everything was always explained to be in great depth by Dr. Hoang in ways that I could easily understand. He worked with me on an affordable payment plan, as I am a single mother and he talked personally with me on what I did and did not want done to my daughters teeth. I was scared of having her teeth pulled and he worked diligently over the years to fix her teeth and over bite without having to remove ANY when several other Ortho offices says that removing teeth would be unavoidable. My daughter had them on for two and a half years and now that they are off, my heart melts every time she shows me her BEAUTIFUL SMILE! Thank you so much ISmiles! My daughter and I really enjoyed this dentistry. The staff are always so kind and friendly, especially as we are walking in we are always greeted. I specifically had to search for a pediatric dentist for my daughter, and I came across iSmiles Kids Dentistry by searching online. I saw that it had good reviews on Google, so I gave them a shot. Previously, I was seeking Dentistry 4 Kidz for my daughter's dental needs, but they took too long to get the pre-authorization from our dental insurance. I called them 3x a week to get feedback, but no luck. I did not want to delay any longer than I had to for my daughter's dental work so I researched online for a pediatric dentist that accepted our insurance, and I came across iSmiles. As stated earlier, I decided to give them a try. As soon as I called them they scheduled my daughter the following week. They X-rayed my daughter's teeth, and as I figured, she had a substantial amount of work to be done for a 3-year old with 10 cavities. But the point is that they were able to get her in, and treated sooner rather than later. The seasonal decorations are always fun and inviting. They follow an efficient schedule that gets us in and out of our appointment on time. My daughter has needed a longer treatment than most. The entire staff has not only been professional and kind but demonstrates that they care by being firm about the importance of my daughter following their recommendations on her part. I took my son to get his teeth cleaned and neither the Dr nor the assistant were very patient. They have very short fuse. The assistant put the water hole to suck out his saliva so deep that it make him throw up all over him self. They should not be allowed to work on patients let alone little kids!! We were referred to Dr. Ly after a nightmare experience with a "family " dentist in town who neglected my childrens' teeth. This office and staff are amazing I'm so glad i came across them .For one my son is only 1 in half years old which had a infection in his gums and they took me in right away they got to know my son and he actually felt comfortable enough to actually open his mouth and laugh to brush his teeth which that is extremely unlikely to happen for a 1 year old. My son loved it actually which i was so surprised its the staff that make the kids feel comfortable and actually interact with them which means a lot to me.The Dr and the male assistant helping him i thank you, and also the front staff they make you feel welcome they are very professional very clean nice environment. I am a first time mom to a 2 year old, I was originally taking her to Corona Kids dental and they where AWFUL but there weren't many places that accepted Medical. I called around for close to 3 months and I was never able to get a good vibe from anywhere and then I found this place. This place is a needle in a haystack, it is the golden egg. When I called to make my appointment they where on the phone with me for 10 minutes talking to me and making me feel welcome from the initial contact. My daughter LOVED them, she went back by herself, she felt comfortable. Her old dentist, she was always scared and held down, i never wanted her to fear the dentist. this place welcomed us both and eased our fear. She did wonderful here, everyone was so kind and so wonderful with all the children. it is so hard to find a place that cares about the patient before anything else. im ranting and rambling but there are just a million good thoughts about this place. we found our dental home. If I could give this orthodontist a hundred stars, I would. The entire staff is amazing. They take the time to get to know each patient and truly care for them. The office manager, Martha is so kind, always has a smile on her face and works with you on a payment plan that is in your best interest. (My daughter needed braces).
