I went there because my comp wasn't working. I never used them before, but I needed to trust someone not to rip me off. I took my tower in, and Tim, the owner was very nice and told me that he would clean and find out what I needed. I was expecting a call later in the day, I had some errands to run, and before I got home, he called me and had it fixed. btw, it was a weak power supply, and old fans and a bad mem stick. He replaced what needed, and had it all done by 1:30 pm. I was glad to have it back so soon. Thx Tim, for your honesty, and knowledge. And the price was really pretty reasonable. Pros: Friendly customer service. They called a few times just to verify what was going on before they began work. Matt was very good at explaining every thing. I gave the PC at 10:30 am and it was ready by 2:00 pm that same day! That may be atypical but still very commendable regardless! They are close by to USF/New Tampa. They are in a small plaza with Hungry Howies across the street from Popeye's on Florida avenue just south of Bearss intersection. A hard drive had to be replaced. It was $160 plus tax total. I'm sure BB or other big places would have been $200 plus. Cons: None. Note: Their minimum fee is $79. If additional parts/labor are needed, it will be added to that amount. read more

I had ISORM completely take apart my pc. I had them replace the motherboard, cpu cooler, power supply unit, and switch from an SSD to an M.2. Their service was amazing. Tim loves to build computers, that love shows as he worked all day on my pc and had it literally done the same day. I brought the pc in at 11:30am and he had it done by 5:55pm that same day. Not to mention their pricing is amazing. For the labor done they have excellent prices. Currently as of this review, they charged 100$ for complex labor such as this one. But for basic labor they charge only $79.99 Any other place would charge hourly, and charge an arm and a leg. Matt, was extremely professional and kind. He runs the business side very well and treats his customers kindly. They both know what they're doing and they're both confident and good at what they do. If your computer comes down with a bad "head cold" or fractures it's motherboard... there is a terrific place right on Florida Avenue, just south of Bearss that we have used for years. It is called Isorm Computers. Prices are very fair and their work is extremely good. They have also steered me away from a few pricey repairs (due to parts costs) and encouraged me and my wife and my father to purchase replacement products... that saved us a ton. Many of these were not even items that they sold. MOst importantly, we had a computer years back that had ALL of the baby pictures from our daughter growing up that crashed on us before we could back it up. The Geek Squad and another computer company told us that this computer was beyond repair and that there was no way that we could ever retrieve these precious photos. We were quoted one option from the Geek Squad at Best Buy that was close to $1000 and was not even guaranteed to work. So sadly, we wrote it off and just kept the computer in storage for years. After a successful first service visit for another computer issue, we decided to try them out on retrieving these photos from our old computer. They charged us their normal service fee of $79 and called us the next day to tell us that they had completed the job... WOW!!! Were we floored :-) These are the "good guys' with GREAT SKILLS... and I 100% recommend them to everyone who needs help with their computers. Check 'em out! read more

Patient, knowledgeable and fair! After trying to figure out why my fiance's computer will not work, asking friends and googling answers, we came here for a second opinion with a custom built gaming computer. The first guy we brought it to was firing the parts cannon telling my fiance to buy ram, buy a new board and buy a new power supply. I needed a gaming PC for my son. I spoke with Matt and told him the specs I was looking for. He asked me about the things we needed to run and he put together some quotes. Matt pointed out some things that were pretty much "overkill" and wouldn't help performance based on our plans and wouldn't be cost effective.(I.E. a processor designed for overclocking when we don't plan to overclock etc.) After paying a deposit for the parts Matt informed us his supplier gave him a discount and he passed that along, lowering our final bill. Very few people would have shared that. In the end my son now has an awesome gaming system that runs everything in epic quality and I came out well under budget! Thanks Matt! Went to ISORM to have a laptop screen replaced...Quoted $129 by Tim, the tech on Waters Street. Tim called and said I didn't need a new screen...Come to find out that the Best Buy in Wisconsin that replaced the screen two years ago, never taped the contact. Tim fixed the issue, did a complete clean-up, and inspection for the cost of a standard service...about half the cost of the screen. This type of honesty and quality service is much appreciated. Brought an HP laptop that had been dropped on the floor. Screen was shot. They replaced it within a few days and ran software to make sure the hard drive was not damaged also. I paid $100 for the screen and $90 for labor. HP wanted $400. Great job, I would highly recommend! read more
