During the quoting process, the owner seemed to come up with numbers without a clear explanation or basis, which quickly made me lose confidence. Father, son operation. I needed whole house floor abated by encapsulating (painting) the mastic on the concrete slab. They seemed to know what they were doing, but execution and delivery was WAY below expectations for what I paid. They were supposed to scrape and HEPA vacuum before painting. I still saw dust in corners after painting, so vacuum wasn't very thorough. They also painted right over debris and ridges that should have been scraped/vacuumed. Very unprofessional. I would never consider them again. I would expect at LEAST half my money returned for the value I received. After doing research, I honestly could have done this myself for a fraction of the price! read more

I contacted IsoTech through yelp when I had a water heater leak and needed asbestos abatement. I asked for references as their yelp reviews were old. Their references checked out and they were available to do the work within my urgent timelines. Mohammad, Yosher and the team from IsoTech did a great job. They're professional, reliable and know what they're doing. I got the place retested after the abatement and it was all clear. A short while later I needed another abatement and I hired them again for it. For the rebuild, Mohammad told me his brother Jahan is a contractor. I met with Jahan and decided to hire him. Hiring 2 people who know each other really made the demolish and rebuild smooth for me. Mohammad also told me that they do such a thorough job that they've never had a positive asbestos test after they've done an abatement. Also check your city/county-- you could also use IsoTech for initial asbestos testing and abatement. But the retesting after abatement has to be done by someone else. Their prices for asbestos testing are competitive and I would certainly recommend them. I now have a go to person in Mohammad and Jahan when I am need of similar services in the future. Th rating from me is more like 3.5 stars.Recently i had a big project that involved removing asbestos from ceilings,walls, floors etc. The building already had demo done so it wasnt like start from scratch. Not many companies do asbestos removal only few. I found mohammed the owner of this company online and contacted, i thing that stood out from our interaction is his communication skills, he is very responsive and prompt unlike others where i wait for 2weeks just to get a quote. Next day his worker came and did some measurements and soon after mohammed gave us quote of whopping 30k to remove asbestos, i was just floored since i wasnt expecting it be that high. I expressed my concern of sticker shock so he dropped price to 29k but it was still very high considering demo has already been done and building was more like a shell. So I contacted other asbestos removal companies and finally got the job done for 14k with certificate of clearance included. Dont get me wrong Mohammed is a nice guy with PH.d but a difference of 15k is tad too much. If his quote was lil bit more reasonable/affordable/doable then i would have gone with him but i rather have 15 k in my pocket rather just throw it away like i hit lotto. So moral of story shop around ,get multiple quotes, put down contract in writing(whats included/ whats not). read more

I called to get an estimate, and the person who answered the phone (did not provide his name) asked a bunch of questions I didn't know the answer to (I mean, you're the expert, right? That's why I'm calling you!), then hung up when I handed the phone to my husband to try to answer the questions. Stop searching for a better deal or better service. You found it with Isotech. I'm a first time home owner and before moving in I wanted to have the pop-corn ceiling removed in my home. It turns out that it contained asbestos. After going through the process of closing on my house I called isoteach and asked them how soon they would be able to do the work. They submitted the application for permits on Thursday and were in my house on Saturday. By saturday afternoon the ceilings were bare and ready for mud. We called three companies for bids to remove our "popcorn" (asbestos) ceiling. Isotech was the best quote (by far!!). And the one who was going to take the least amount of time. Mohammad was great to work with. A week before the work was scheduled to start I was planning to call him and "check in" and make sure everything was on track. Before I could call him, he called me to let me know that everything was on track and confirmed start time. Yoshar and his crew were on time, worked effociently and very thoroughly. After the scraping was done we had the air quality tested to make sure it was clear and of course it passed with out any issues. The tester commented that the air was "very clean." The clean up was also very quick and efficient. We had asbestos tile which we had taken out, and then we had the asbestos glue which was remaining. Isotech came out and did a test, and found that the glue wasn't asbestos, which greatly reduced our costs of removing the glue. It's pretty odd these days to find someone honest, and who will give you a fair price. If you have asbestos issues, these are the guys to go with for an honest straight forward answer. read more

Called over 20 asbestos removal companies. Got such the run around, that's if I got a call back. Isotech answered the phone, the owner shared with me other further information I had not considered, walked me through step by step of what to expect, came out estimated the job at no cost and completed the job in a timely and workman like fashion.
