Why it took so long to try this place is beyond me. After the Covid-induced decline of Muraski (our prior favorite due to both quality and location), we tried out Bluefin in Eagleview - which is and remains excellent and set the standard for quality, breadth of product, and creativity - until now! This place far exceeded my expectations. Similar price points but a tad less expensive. Unbelievable roll selection and beautiful execution (the monster and amazing tuna rolls were spectacular both to look at and eat). The tempura here is off the charts - including the "avocado tempura popper" - a must try. If there was a downside, I will say it took a while to a waitress at first. We waited like 15-20 minutes to order. But once we were in the "system" so to speak, the timing and delivery of food was spot on. Came here for a sushi lunch - chose it because it was highly rated and has a large menu with some great looking options. The outside looks a little meh but it's really lovely inside. I had crab Rangoon, pork buns, and crystal shrimp dumplings for an appetizer and three rolls of sushi - volcano, geisha, and spicy tuna. Also had the fried cheesecake & red bean ice cream. The sushi was really great! Everything tasted fresh, the portion was normal, and the presentation was beautiful for everything. The desserts were good as well but nothing crazy. Same for the appetizers - same old stuff you'll find at any similar restaurant really. Such a delightful place! My husband and I haven't been on a dinner date since March and we were in the area, decided to try it out on a Tuesday evening. First off, everything is very clean and the employees all wore masks. We were instantly greeted, very warmly by the hostess/waitress. There were a few other customers, all distanced seating. The place is on the smaller side but not crammed. The tables have a nice wood finish. The restaurant has a cozy ambiance that can also be romantic without all the fancy frills of a huge restaurant. We shared an edamame appetizer. Very fresh and good portion. I had the Amazing Tuna signature roll and a salmon cucumber hand roll. My husband ordered the nabeyaki udon soup. AMAZING! My sushi fish was fresh, the spicy sauce was flavorful, and the presentation was to die for. My husband's soup came with jumbo tempura shrimp that was breaded perfectly and not overly fried. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. All the dishes were real - none of that plastic crap! The food came out in a timely manner. This place is AMAZING! Sad I didn't take any pictures! The sushi is fresh and all the fish was rich and delicious. I usually don't like salmon but the tartar with salmon and tuna had such an incredible taste with a little crunch from the tempura flakes mixed it. My 11year old ended up taking it from me and finishing it all off. To top it all off the service is impeccable. Very attentive and very quick to get you anything you need. I picked up take out from Issho tonight, and it has probably become my new go to sushi spot in Exton. I ordered the tuna lover sushi entree and crystal shrimp dumplings. Both were delicious. The dumplings had great flavor and the tuna was very fresh. Even the dumpling sauce was excellent. Issho is a great addition to the Exton neighborhood and is definitely worth a visit. My first experience with Toro was only a few months ago and I wasn't at all impressed but THIS Toro not only looked beautiful but tasted beautiful as well. Issho Sushi and Steakhouse is truly incredible. Impeccable is apt for the attention of flavors, spices, sauces and preparation of every item. The presentation of food, as seen in the photos, shows the extraordinary level of respect they have for their food. The design, layout, furnishings and the ambiance are superb. They have thought of every detail and delivered on them meticulously. Our family enjoyed 4 different sushi roles, and three entrees. The ginger salad is the best ginger salad we have ever had. The soups are delicious. The menu is 8 pages of selections from sushi rolls, to steak, scallops, shrimp, variety of noodles...and scrumptious appetizers. The Gyoza (pork or veg) are made with traditionally thin "wonton" wraps and served crispy, yet are so clean on the palate. Nothing was heavy or overly oiled. I had the filet, scallops and shrimp with rice and vegetables. Every item was cooked perfectly. The filet was the most tender, yet flavorful filet I have had in years. Even the dishes are unique and show the care and honor for excellence in cuisine...wild I know, yet seriously our food was presented on 8 different types of dishes, many of which are one-of-a-kind. Even the green tea was served in a hand coiled pottery mug with white flowers hand painted on them. The boat with the sushi rolls was a fantastic touch of Japanese artistry. The dessert selections are approximately 8, and the ones we tried were all excellent. Our waiter, this young man was delightful, prompt, courteous and provided exceptional service. The only "miss" was he did not write down a thing when ordering, at every table, and unfortunately he forgot about our 1 order of green tea, and he left off one California roll when the boat of sushi rolls was presented. He apologized for forgetting and presented the green tea, yet we told him to forget about the California roll. Our meal was $107 for four, and was worth every penny, and even more. So excited to have this new local specialty restaurant. We've noticed at lunchtime and dinnertime their parking lot is full almost every day. Reservations through Google worked perfectly as well. Bonus: It is BYOB so bring your favorite wine, plum wine or even beer, perhaps Japanese beer to top off a perfect dining experience. read more

Everything I've tried has tasted fresh and like it was just taken off of the stove. I've had the kimchi dumpling soup - a little spice (which I love) and so filling.
