Ordered the, Beef Lomein last night. Upon the first bite I noticed how tender the meat was,however, as I began to chew this awful taste came thru. It tasted like the meat was spoiled. I literally had to spit it out and throw the entire meal away (things are much too expensive for this to happen)My husband got the Pork Lomein and it was fine as usual. We've been ordering here since they first opened, Wasabi 2 and Harrison was the manager. Apparently things have changed. read more

We are regulars at the Wasabi in West Chester and on a recent trip down to Delaware in the evening decided to check out this location. Also located in a strip mall, this location is just as good and my wifey thought even better than the DubC location. I had a simple roll which was fresh and tasty and some miso soup served hot and in great proportions. Will definitely we back to try more. read more

Second time I've been here and the chicken green curry just hits for me, savory and filling with depths of flavor. Other places I go to make it too ginger-forward but Wasabi 2 does it right. We also got the chicken yakitori, tuna nigiri, tuna roll, and fabulous roll (tuna inside and out)! Great service with water refills and ordering takeout. An amazing spot for ordering out or a clean, cozy space for dining in! I love to visit after a run to Costco nearby. read more

This place is fine but I'm a little surprised by the high ratings. I got seared tuna as an appetizer and it just wasn't that great -- fine but wouldn't order again. I got the fabulous roll and that was very good. I picked up my food and the inside of the restaurant is blocked off so you can't eat in, which was a little weird (it seemed like on their website it was takeout and eat in). It also smelled heavily of cigarette smoke which was a little gross. I would recommend somewhere else for a great experience. read more

Wasabi 2 is one of , if not the best Chinese/Japanese restaurants in West Chester. Everything is usually very fresh with spot on Asian seasoning. Sushi is so fresh and really some of the best I've had in the area. Service is quick, cordial and conscientious. This one of the only Asian restaurants that is open on Mondays near WC as well. read more

A friend and I ordered take out on a Friday night. I ordered the Godzilla Chef Special's Roll and it was so good! The tuna and shrimp were fresh, and the eel sauce was a sweet twist to an already delicious roll. The serving size was generous, so I was pleased with the quality and quantity of the sushi. The price is a little steep, but I think most would say it's worth the cost. I don't live that close to Wasabi2, but next time I'm in the area, I plan to order again! read more

Excellent! I am new to Glen Mills area and wanted to find a Sushi restaurant. I used YELP to find Wasabi2, which was only 6 miles away. What a treat! In a small shopping center with plenty of parking. I walked in a very quiet restaurant, nicely decorated, with a lovely sushi bar. It is a small restaurant with maybe 15+ tables. I was given an extensive menu that had Japanese and Chinese cuisine. I chose Japanese with Mizo soup and Sushi Deluxe. All I can say is all was excellent. And so was the service. read more

I really like the way this place has set itself up during COVID. You walk in the door and there's a wall with a glass window and a drawer/box, sort of like a drive up pharmacy, and a separate smaller box for payment. They ask you to write down your name and phone number and show it to them. Then they have hand sanitizer for when you come in/leave. Upon entering the small and quaint Japanese restaurant, we were greeted warmly by the host who brought us to our table. We started off our orders with chicken fried rice for the children, and for the adults, the following: sushi boat, Longwood Garden roll, sashimi salad, spicy salmon roll, eel roll, followed by three orders of fried ice cream. We had a long stroll in Longwood Garden prior to this visit, don't judge. Let me start off by saying the salmon was incredibly buttery and creamy. There was not one gristle that could be found in that massive chunk of salmon. The octopus was deliciously juicy and chewy with a wonderful sweet fragrance that explodes with every bite. The Longwood Garden roll was a perfect marriage of sweet and savory and the creamy avocado and salmon balanced the sweetness perfectly. The spicy salmon roll was not the typical wimpy slap blah of salmon mush slapped on top of the rice, this was real diced chunks of salmon carefully mixed with tangy mayo and a generous squirt of spicy sauce. There were more sushi we had, but I'm salivating as I wrote this and have to stop. I was so impressed with the sushi that I decided to try the kids chicken fried rice, curious on what impressive feat they can conjure up. The rice had the perfect balance of egginess and savoriness and blended in perfectly with the white chicken breasts that were generously salted. Delicious. Lastly, we finished our perfect day with a heaping scoop of fried ice cream. The batter was thick without being too heavy, it had a wonderful spongey texture that soaked up the left over ice cream that had melted into the bowl. The ice cream itself was cream, but the batter was the star here. Overall, I highly recommend this place for quality sushi and sashimi. The fried ice cream is also a decadent dessert that cannot be missed. read more

Pretty underwhelming sushi. I ordered the Deluxe platter which is about 12 pieces of sushi and miso soup. The soup was very good. The broth was very savory. The sushi however wasn't that great. The fish did not melt on the palate and did not taste super fresh. It was OK, no actual sanitation issues or anything like that. I did not find it particularly fresh or flavorful. read more

I ordered general Tao chicken via door dash . The chicken looked like it was a frozen bag of chicken that they tried to make it look like home made. It didn't taste the same and I had General Tso chicken elsewhere so many times and this was not the same. I called them complaining and they said to call door dash and it was not their problem . They just reopened the dine-in, and I'm glad to have stopped in. I already had dinner, but I order some very fine and generous sushi. The meal started with a marvelous and unique small salad, which had mango, avocado and a slice of maguro with a soy dressing. Delicious and gorgeous food, with enough menu variety that my sushi-averse sister was able to find and enjoy a meal (the teriyaki bento box, for the record) that still fits what we meant when we said "let's go get Japanese." I intend to go back a few more times just to explore the menu. The service was also excellent, with helpful and friendly waitstaff. There was a lovely man on the floor who was I think the manager or supervisor, and when he heard that it was our first time there he presented us with a nice cucumber-mango salad at the end of our meal on the house. read more

Being vegan I'm always on the hunt for the best sweet potato rolls, and I think I've found them! So crunchy on the outside and soft, sweet and warm on the inside, they were perfect! The peanut avocado roll was also super tasty, first time having that roll. My boyfriend loved his rolls! He ordered the Out of Control, eel avocado, and spicy crab. They looked so good!
