We needed to move on the Monday or Tuesday after Thanksgiving (Nov 28,29), and were very concerned about the timing and communication. Literally 2 days before our move (Saturday Nov 26), we had no communication and could not reach anyone. In fact, we discovered our company was not even a moving company, but in fact a "moving broker".. BEWARE OF MOVING BROKERS!!!!!!!!!!! Anyhow, we called Muscled Up Movers on Saturday as they had great reviews and advertised "emergency moves".. Bottom line, we were loaded and moved 2 days later, for a very good price.. If you are looking to move, and you are currently in or near the Huntsville Alabama area, I would strongly suggest you use Muscled Up Movers.. The team they sent us, Monterro, Ted, and Chris were outstanding. Also, I would be remiss not to mention Frank, the guy who put this move together. Although it was an instate move, it was 6 hours away from Huntsville, so it took a lot of planning in a very short time. My wife and I owe so much to Frank and his team. All were simply outstanding!

First off to say these guys moved SLOOOOOOW would be an understatement. It took them more than 5 hours with three guys. So did they need to take apart beds? Nope, this was all done for them before them before hand. Perhaps difficult access? Nope, the apartment was on the first floor. Between the frequent breaks, standing around and complaining we should have known that this company wasn't legit. But there's more, after they loaded up the truck rather than drive across the parking lot and unload, they needed to take a break...no kidding. Then returning to the same complex, they got lost. Yup lost and I needed to go and direct them back to the complex. The story doesn't end there, they damaged much of the furniture they moved...including a brand new leather sofa. Did they step up on the damage they caused? Nope. We've been going back and forth with their claims people for over a month. BTW- we checked out the address for the "Claims Department" and its a Tatoo Parlor. They wanted us to make a claim with the retailer that sold us the sofa rather than MUM stepping up. Then on a custom piece of art that they damaged they suggested that they could get a commercial frame from Etsy though the original piece is clearly a custom framed piece. MY ADVICE TO FOLKS CONSIDERING USING MUSCLE UP MOVERS...just burn your money instead. MUM is the WORST COMPANY we've ever dealt with, inclusive of online retailers etc. These folks are scum bags!

Now, people are there in the building (their cars are parked in the back of the building) they just refuse to come up to the front desk to answer any questions. Well, I left. Got a climate controlled10'x15' for a third of what I was paying at Midgard. And if anyone does rent from them, you better read the fine print of your contract. You have to give a 30 day notice to vacate. But its not 30 days from the day you give notice. It's 30 days from the 1st of the following month so they can get another months rent out of your wallet! I wouldn't give them any stars but I had to do one to post this. And BTW, my sister in law gave her 30 day notice and they begged her to stay by guaranteeing a year without price increase. (Yes, her rent has more than doubled). And if she did stay, can you imagine the amount her rent would go up after that year is up???

For over a year, every day of the month, the same day, a check is sent from the bank. AUTOMATICALLY. No problems. All of a sudden, they don't get checks on time and they want late fees. EVERY MONTH!! I had to pay in person (so I could get into my unit), stopped payment on the check I already sent, and then a month later they tried to cash the check I stopped payment on and charged me some other fee cause I stopped payment on the check they presented for payment. So, I set up automatic withdrawal (yes, routing #, account #, etc) so they can go into one of my accounts and take monthly payments out. Well...guess what? Plenty of $$ for their payment, but I get an e-mail telling me my payment is late!! And yes...another late fee!! What is wrong with this picture??? And not 10 miles away same size unit $80.00/month. Seems like all they want is your money and they are very creative in finding ways to get it!!

They changed it after I moved in to charge $94/ year to rent their combination lock that lets them get into your storage area. You are not allowed to use your own lock anymore. Also some crazy insurance that is $120 a year that doesn't insure anything. Renting a storage unit is supposed to be a straightforward affair. These guys come up with new crazy fees every month. They made a mistake on my bill and then charged ME a late fee for their mistake. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE, they are money hungry vampires that will start going after you as soon as you are moved in.
