They say they aren't responsible, U-Haul is, U-Haul won't take responsibility, the insurance company won't cover it! Guthries say they only rent out the trucks ( not responsible). Our realtor recommended Guardian Storage but before booking a unit, I price checked it. (The website was fancy so I thought it would be too pricey.) The price was totally in line (even cheaper) than other outfits that I checked...(note, Guardian does not have outdoor units, which is not what we wanted - we had to store two fridges, washer, dryer, and we did not want them to get "funky" in a hot outdoor storage unit. Low and behold, they did not have any funk smell!) The facility is SUPER clean. The locks are these cool little gadgets...but you have to buy that separately. There was plenty of space for our large moving truck. The owner (who is super nice and helpful) keeps moving dollies, carts, and such on site - so that's helpful.
