We needed to have some heavy things moved. I saw an ad for Muscled Up Movers and gave them a call. Their pricing was reasonable. They have a one hour minimum rate of $280. If used, 2 hours would be $435 and 3 hours $590. We were ask to email pictures of the items to be moved. We set up a day and time for muscled Up Movers to arrive. They showed up on time and came inside to evaluate what was to be moved. The two gentlemen were very cordial and did a great job of wrapping up fragile items and moving them. We are very happy with their customer service and the great job they did moving furniture. If you need a moving service, call Muscled Up Movers. They do great work. read more

We hired Muscle Up Movers to move our furniture across the parking lot to a new apartment. Essentially two bedrooms a dining room and living room furniture and a few boxes. First off to say these guys moved SLOOOOOOW would be an understatement. It took them more than 5 hours with three guys. So did they need to take apart beds? Nope, this was all done for them before them before hand. Perhaps difficult access? Nope, the apartment was on the first floor. Between the frequent breaks, standing around and complaining we should have known that this company wasn't legit. But there's more, after they loaded up the truck rather than drive across the parking lot and unload, they needed to take a break...no kidding. Then returning to the same complex, they got lost. Yup lost and I needed to go and direct them back to the complex. The story doesn't end there, they damaged much of the furniture they moved...including a brand new leather sofa. Did they step up on the damage they caused? Nope. We've been going back and forth with their claims people for over a month. BTW- we checked out the address for the "Claims Department" and its a Tatoo Parlor. They wanted us to make a claim with the retailer that sold us the sofa rather than MUM stepping up. Then on a custom piece of art that they damaged they suggested that they could get a commercial frame from Etsy though the original piece is clearly a custom framed piece. MY ADVICE TO FOLKS CONSIDERING USING MUSCLE UP MOVERS...just burn your money instead. We were recommended to this place and have huge regrets. I try never to write a bad review as if you can't say anything one should not say but if it was me I'd want to see this review prior to choosing a mover. First off if you want a quote be aware they will blow up your phone and emails what seems to be all day long and not the friendliest rather pushy. They showed up as expected and gentleman were very nice (positive note) however we paid for time for them to chat with family/friends they ran into throughout the entire time they were to be moving and we are talking standing and talking not moving furniture and talking. Secondly they left to get something to drink within 1.5 hours of move despite us giving them some tea and we paid for them during this time as well. They were slower movers we have ever had but more time they take more they can bill right? We had moved 90% of all boxes the night before (51 boxes) in faster time then they took to move two bedroom worth of furniture one sofa four tables two console tables few lamps 4 chairs. At the end guy said you're not gonna give us a tip? Well first off it didn't ask when I was being charged as option and the other thing was that I was told was I had paid $150 before and my understanding was this was going to be applied (meaning subtracted from costs). Nope. We ended up paying with deposits and trip time etc etc over $1k. We also had brand new furniture damaged and true art that the frame itself cost over $600 damaged. They didn't wrap picture as I wondered why as we were told that furniture and painting be wrapped. Wrong! I had used MUM a few years ago and was pleased with the experience, so I decided to use them again to move my mother in law next door. On the positive side, the team of six was excellent (Travis, Paul, Lavon, Maurice, Aiden, Brandon). They could not have been better-respectful, attentive and hard working. The crew was very careful with floors and furniture. My issue came with the agreed upon price. I was asked to make a deposit of 75% which I did. It was roughly $1750. It was stated that should there be a few more items or longer time than estimated, there would be an increase. I agreed considering it could be a few more hundred dollars. At the close of the day, I was charged over $1800 more in addition to the original $1750, which is significantly more than a 25% balance and an slight upcharge. The lead crew member reached out to the booking agent I had originally spoken with about the discrepancy. When I spoke with him on the phone he was condescending, inflexible and not truthful. He utilized fuzzy figures in an attempt to justify his massive upcharge. It was the old "bait and switch". I only gave a 2 star rating because of the excellent crew. Otherwise, zero would have been the score. If you use MUM, get an attorney first. This is my last time to use MUM. read more

Muscled Up Movers did an outstanding job! My wife and I found ourselves in a bad predicament, after dealing with another company for 6 weeks. We needed to move on the Monday or Tuesday after Thanksgiving (Nov 28,29), and were very concerned about the timing and communication. Literally 2 days before our move (Saturday Nov 26), we had no communication and could not reach anyone. In fact, we discovered our company was not even a moving company, but in fact a "moving broker".. BEWARE OF MOVING BROKERS!!!!!!!!!!! Anyhow, we called Muscled Up Movers on Saturday as they had great reviews and advertised "emergency moves".. Bottom line, we were loaded and moved 2 days later, for a very good price.. If you are looking to move, and you are currently in or near the Huntsville Alabama area, I would strongly suggest you use Muscled Up Movers.. The team they sent us, Monterro, Ted, and Chris were outstanding. Also, I would be remiss not to mention Frank, the guy who put this move together. Although it was an instate move, it was 6 hours away from Huntsville, so it took a lot of planning in a very short time. My wife and I owe so much to Frank and his team. Hired MUM to move heavier pieces of furniture and a Treadlok gunsafe in April. They boast they can move safes and have extensive experience. DO NOT BELIEVE THIS CLAIM. 3 men showed up; loaded our items and got to the new house. That's when the train wreck began. Dropped our safe after bragging they could lift heavier safes without any problem. Used only a moving strap attached to their shoulders (husband offered our appliance dolly, but they were "experts") and proceeded to drop safe on front entry damaging steps and destroying my safe. Now my safe will not open, close or lock properly. We have to yank on handle to open, the dial takes force to spin and I am so afraid to place anything in the safe in fear it won't open. The door is no longer square and now drags. I had to go pay for a safety deposit box to store all my items. Huge inconvenience to not have access to my items because of the MUM's incompetence. The esthetic damage is terrible as well. After the "experts" dropped my safe, they proceeded to gouge my wood floor in the study with their dolly and bang a hole in rounded corner of my hall way (about 8' up because they chose to carry a table upside down on their shoulder and the leg banged into the wall). We completed the paperwork with the movers regarding all the damage. MUM requested pictures, we sent them. Adam (the "fixer) from MUM showed up with his wife on 5/2. Claimed he could fix safe, wall, steps and floor but didn't have any tools. Adam and wife came back to house on 5/3. Now said he couldn't fix safe or floor. Didn't have the items to fix wall but attempted to fix steps. Ran out of mortar and had to come back. Came back a few days later and claimed he had just come from doctor with bad diagnosis. He was upset, so I sent him home to be with his wife. Adam was supposed to come back but never showed. After chasing MUM CS, Adam showed up with safe specialist from TN. Specialist claimed there was no way he could fix safe. Then I am told I would need a "floor specialist" too to fix the gouge in study. Adam finally finished the repair on the steps and attempted to fix the wall. Did a terrible job, like it was the first time he had ever attempted to fix a wall. At this point, we were done with them wasting our time and told him to leave it. 5 Ridiculous appointments later, my husband and I taking time off to meet Adam for nothing and now MUM stating the safe is fine?! I was charged for transportation time to my home AND for fuel. I was also charged for "supplies" that were never taken out of the truck. Instead, I had to provide towels and moving blankets from my home. When I called the manager, he said I signed the document so that was my problem and never addressed the fact his movers were slow and used my personal property instead of the supplies I had to pay for. My parents used this moving service and were not only met with three movers instead of 4 as promised, but with one of the movers taking over an hour to wrap one chair. You would think they would've given a discount since the whole team wasn't present to help, which put more strain on my parents. Nice enough men, but hasty in their work. Sustained some damage, and the lead mover said the owner would contact me. He never did, and since I didn't read the fine print on my contract, it's probably too late to make a claim. Their estimate was the lowest - and it ended by being 100% more than the estimate. If you live in the Huntsville area I highly recommend you do not use this company. Showed up in a Uhaul truck. I was so discouraged by the lack of concern moving my house. I have pictures of the walls that have dings in them. They dropped boxes on the ground hard enough to bust them open, then left it, they did not have a utility dollie. My Antique Wicker dresser is damaged. They broke the leg I did not know this until they left. I spent $989 on this. I called Marcus and asked them to look in the truck ad return it as it was in one piece when it left on the truck. Makes me sick to my stomach. I called while they were moving things asking the Owner Joseph to come out while they were here. Advised Marcus on phone. I asked him to have owner immediately come out to location. Never came. They poured water all over the hardwood floors from the washer while moving it. Not sure why they were out when supoose to be inside washer in case they leak, did not even ask to wipe up. Then one of the workers was laying on the floor in living room. Not sure if he was tired, exhausted, etc. I spoke with a realitor here in town, she mentioned when they sale a house people ask what moving company to use, she advised me they DO NOT recommend muscle up movers. They treat their customers hortible and break items and never responsible. I am heart sick at what damage they have done. I even had a friend from BJ Moving stop by to assess the damage in my new place to have a second set of eyes because the requested owner I asked to come immediately never showed. He was appalled. If I could give less than one star I would. It's taken me a while to write this review since my move last month. Moves first show up almost 45 mins late due to one of them not showing up on time. I walked them through the house and showed them everything that needed to be wrapped in moving blankets. I was assured many times that they were "professional movers" and knew how to pack a truck. I tried to let them be autonomous assuming they knew what they were doing. I had purchased more than enough moving blankets to properly wrap all furniture and other misc items yet, half of the blankets weren't used and items were wrapped in plastic WITHOUT moving blankets as directed. The moving container we used came with shelving units that they were shown when they arrived and told to use to utilize the top of the moving container space. I also assumed that they knew how to install. NOPE! They didn't even use these and instead at the end when they got done literally throwing my stuff into the truck they shoved them in the side and you literally could hear stuff breaking. I was mortified and exhausted by this point as they were already almost 2 hrs over their estimated time. The kids they sent are the furthest thing from professional packers. They had no clue how to pack the truck as promised many times by the owner. Not only that but as a courtesy I had purchased bottled water to keep them hydrated which they left the trash of the bottles ALL OVER my house. Then at one point in time they were bothering me for snacks. Are you kidding me???? I haven't moved into my new home yet but I expect more than half of my things to be broken due to how it was so poorly packed. Oh and did I mention that they packed so poorly I had to sell multiple items including furniture that's should have fit??? Unbelievable. QUICK OVERVIEW: Local moving service, paid for additional full valuation coverage of my items, several were damaged, the home was damaged, and Muscled Up Movers has not reimbursed or replaced anything. They ended communication at the end of April 2022. RECAP Of Events: I paid an additional $400 for full valuation coverage for a local move from Madison to Huntsville (more than $2,800 paid in total). Some of the items moved were damaged and broken, the wood floors in the home being moved into were badly scratched and damaged in 2-3 areas, a bed was assembled in front of two closet doors rendering them inaccessible, in addition to experiencing unprofessional and intimidating behaviors (one of the movers yelled at my step-Mom) from 2-3 staff members/presumably an owner or both, to include being called after 9 p.m. on a Sunday night by one of the movers to ask about his tip. The gratuity was given, for all movers, to the Team Lead at the end of the move/day 2. This mover had already received gratuity 2 days earlier and had 2 lunches bought for him. Nothing damaged has been repaired, replaced, or reimbursed. Muscled Up Movers (MUM) said they would send movers back to move the bed and didn't. After providing over 30 photos of damage, in addition to the photos taken by the team lead the day of the move/damage, MUM asked for more photos "from 4' away". I requested they come out to inspect the damage since they'd offered to come out and move the bed. They didn't. I've not heard from MUM since April 28th/29th via email. My last email was sent April 29th and MUM has never followed up. They haven't returned a call since and they haven't honored the full valuation purchase covering my move. We recently moved and shopped around and decided on muscled up movers. Going into it, they were great. They said they would work with us with our circumstances of having a gap between a walk through of our old house and closing on the new house. They said they would not charge us for that period of time. That is what we agreed to. When they moved our old house into the truck, they were great and helpful, however when they moved us into our new house they were all tired because they worked all night at another job, and got tired and lazy, this made us pay for more time since they were going so slow and taking smoke breaks on my dime. They broke several things moving into the new house as well. When we received the invoice, we noticed they did not honor our agreement in the beginning and we had to pay $700 more than we expected to. When we called and asked why they did not honor our agreement they said "well it is what it is now". They also did not follow up on our damage forms that we turned in either. read more

The movers were decent, we've had better but also had worse. However, I wouldn't trust the company at all. We had a nice/expensive dining room table damaged in the move (long distance). Whatever, things get damaged, to be expected. Luckily, MUM gives you insurance for these things. The team lead went thru the insurance options before the move, I asked what he recommended and went w/ that one. He was very clear that THEY will find someone to fix any items, but b/c it was a long distance move, it may take slightly longer b/c they don't have known contractors there. Cool, totally understood. That's when things went south. The claims department gave us the option of a repairman or a $150 check (insultingly low, but whatever). I asked to have the table repaired, then heard nothing. I finally followed up w/ them, just for them to say that they don't have vendors there so it was on me to find a vendor, get quotes, make the repairs, etc. I don't know anyone here either, nor is this AT ALL how it was explained it would work by THEIR employees. I called a bunch of companies, nobody was willing to fix it because it was too small of a job for them. At this point, I'm just done with the whole thing, just want the super low $150 check and to be done w/ MUM. I email them and tell them that's what I want, and that I wasn't happy with how the whole process has played out based on what I was told, etc. They legit respond by saying they won't pay b/c I might leave them a bad review which would give them a "black eye". Are you kidding me? LOL, what a joke! There's a contract between both parties, you putting in writing that you aren't going to pay because in your eyes it's "not fair" is such a horrible excuse and not how legitimate businesses operate! I also reached out to one of their owners, Joseph Ajdarodini (Ashley is the other one), just to tell an owner my experience with the company and the pathetic customer service. Zero response... at all. I sent one final email awhile back just asking them to please send the check. Nothing, no check, no response. tl;dr - If you want a moving company that provides proper customer service, values their customers, and understands that there's a contract between both parties - DO NOT go with MUM. When I booked this move I gave a comprehensive list of what I needed moved. I was moving to Nashville and would be moving things to storage and my apartment. As soon as the truck pulled up I knew it wasn't good. When the 3 movers walked into my house the look on the foreman's face said it all. He knew they didn't have enough workers, materials and a big enough truck to successfully make this move. He was right!! They arrived at 10am and began working. But soon realized one truck wasn't going to work. I told the representative that I booked the move with that I will have everything packed but would need them to pack up my China cabinet and all China, my entire kitchen (which is not as big a most kitchens) and my hang up clothes. By 4pm they had to have someone bring more packing materials and 2 more mover. Then they had to request another truck. A move that should of only taken about 6 maybe 7 hours , took 12! My original quote was $1600 by the end of the move I had written 2 check for close to $5,000! If I could I would not have paid, but they have you because you have to move your stuff! My previous move I used 2 Men In A Truck and they sent someone to walk through my house days before the move to evaluate the move and size of my furniture. They gave me a quote and that quote did not change after the move! Even the movers were frustrated.. said it was not the first time they had been sent to a job that was much bigger than they were prepared for. ALL of this could of been avoided if they would of simply done a walk through. The workers/movers were very nice, polite, professional and worked very hard. They continually apologized for how long it was taking. Once they got the two other workers things moved fast. This is horrible business. I emailed the manager and requested some type of a refund. Of course that fell on deaf ears. Said," if you read your materials you were emailed , materials you signed , it explains about 4 different times moving is based on actual time and complexity." What the heck does that mean!!! If you walk through the place you don't need to list FOUR DIFFERENT times. I know this is long but I wanted whoever reads this to get the whole picture of my brutal move. So I will NOT EVER use this company again and I do not recommend anyone to use this. If it wasn't bad/traumatizing/disgusting enough that one of the movers was fondling himself the entire time and actually exposed himself to me, the fact that I later learned that this individual has an extensive criminal history with a dozen arrests in Mad Co alone just iced the cake. Those charges/arrests range anywhere from possession of narcotics to theft of property to BURGLARY. And THIS is the individual that was sent by this company to move my valuables and now has my address as well as firsthand knowledge of the layout of my home and all my possessions. So now I will be having a security system installed at my new home this weekend since my sense of security has been threatened at the hands of a company that I PAID $450 to provide a service to be performed by competent, respectable, qualified employees that should not have resulted in me filing a police report, restraining order and now possibly being forced to take even further legal action. The owner's refusal to refund me so that I could avoid the untimely added expense of a security system AFTER admitting negligence in properly executing a background check before hiring (as he claimed was the company's policy) just adds to my disgust for this so-called business. Oh, and to add even more insult to injury and to quote the owner, Joseph "services were rendered your furniture was moved properly from point a to point B it was a proper move and it was executed correctly and everything was taken care of so unfortunately we cannot issue a refund on that I'm sorry to say that it is what it is." The crew showed up not knowing this and had zero packing stuff with them. I had to run to the store while they waited. However, the crew was great. I had to move in a hurry to another state and this was the only company I could book within my time frame. I was quoted a price which later changed twice (and not for the better). I had two antique chests that I took out additional insurance on to the tune of $150.00 each in case the marble was damaged. One had a weak leg and I pointed that out in advance and stated I would not expect them to be responsible for that leg. One of our movers was excellent (Nathan), the other (Travis) was difficult and contrary--he would ask me something, and if he didn't like the answer he got, he would go to Chris and tell him I told him to ask him. Chris has had a stroke and has an obvious limp. Travis asked him what was wrong with him and when Chris told him, he said 'I hope nothing like that ever happens to me." So incredibly insensitive. In MS, they unpacked our things into storage because we didn't have a new house yet. The marble on one chest was badly cracked and flaking. They immediately wanted me to sign a paper absolving them of liability which I refused and they accidentally included me on a email to their claims department in which they went on and on about that broken leg and stated that the damage to the marble was 'unavoidable. Ironically, they included a picture of the undamaged chest with that email. Later I found out that Travis wrote on the paper that Chris said they weren't responsible for the damage (a bald faced lie). I have been going around and around with their company since August trying to get them to replace the marble with no success. At one time they agreed to replace it if I would drive 7 hours back to Huntsville to have it done (although Marquise told me in the beginning that if it was damaged, it would be replaced in my new state). When I protested and wanted it done in my area, then they told me they would only repair it, not replace it--it is actually damaged beyond repair. Do not use them!!! And if you are foolish enough to use them, don't waste your money on extra insurance because that is nothing but a SCAM on their part. read more

I will absolutely be reporting your company to the BBB and commenting on yelp and all other information sites. Your Muscled Up men broke several of my pieces of furniture of which I was willing to forgive UNTIL they "pretended" to be going back to finish the job and asked to go ahead get a tip then said Marquis had called them for something else and they had to go and couldn't finish up. Your threats do not scare me. I have all the evidence of furniture broken of which one piece was from my deceased mother and has made it through 3 moves until your men got ahold of it. You show me one single picture of feces or pet vomit!! The one little speck of something in one of the pictures you provided IS NOT EVEN MY RESIDENCE!!!! We used them at the end of July to move my mother-in-law out of her apartment when she went into a nursing home. We had to coordinate from long distance and used them based on a recommendation from another family member, but everyone in the family who was involved was less than impressed. They showed up to the move without masks on in this time of COVID we expected more. I felt the price was high for a local move especially considering they we're moving everything into storage. My husband's mother has now passed away and we were in town to clean out the storage and the items were not stacked neatly. There were sofa cushions squeezed into boxes and used for padding which misshaped the cushions. Overall just not impressed with their price or quality. Which worked out great for me I booked to movers on 11/3/2020 to be at the house ready to move at 11:00am.... I had no further contact with the moving company after that. The moving date came and 11:00 rolls around then on to 11:30, no movers. Take note that myself and my boyfriend took off work as well as got a babysitter for this move, so on top of the moving expense we are loosing money not working as well as for the cost of a babysitter. So I call around 11:30 and I speak with a gentleman and he tells me that he sees the move on the calendar but no manpower assigned to the job, he advised me he would call me back. Well guess what he didn't call back instead Veronica did she tells me the guys are on the way and that they have ran into an accident so they are running late. Well now its 1:30 and I have yet to see the movers, so I call the office and get no answer, Veronica's cell and again no answer. Well she calls back and no she is telling me they are waiting on a truck it would be 3:00 before they could come... Now here we are at 2:30 I get a call from a mover who says he is 30 minutes away and will see me shortly. Well surprise surprise its 4:00 and nobody has showed up for this move and NOT one single person will answer my calls. I grab my boyfriends phone and call and what do you know they answer. Then gentleman then tells he will call me back... So here is Veronica calling back telling me they are waiting on a supervisor to assist with the move and they will be here. Well then I get a call from a Karla and she tells me that she is trying to find men for the move and she just can't.....So needless to say all the LIES that were told left us with an entire day wasted. I ask multiple times to have a manager call me and they have yet to do so. Sadly I had to use this company anyway because I couldn't find another company to act fast and since our home had sold we had to be out! I can tell you now if I would have been told the truth, which was hey Veronica messed up booking your move than I would have been okay but the wasted day and lies ruined all that! Let alone that whatever Veronica quoted me didn't stand with Karla, so they lie and cannot keep a promise..... Quoted 2 hours to move 4 pieces of furniture. Charged 2.5 hours. Three days later received an invoice for additional 1.5 hours. So 4 hours to move 4 pieces of furniture? Second mover couldn't lift chest of drawers-- son had to. read more

I cannot recommend Muscled Up Movers for your moving needs. I contracted two teams of two individuals for 2-3-hour blocks of time on two days in August 2019.The first team was friendly and helpful. They took instruction and were moderately effective. Both members of the team on the second day were surly and slow to take instruction. That's the good news. One or both young men stole my wallet from my dresser drawer. I reported the theft to local law enforcement but since there wasn't a great deal of money in the wallet and the attempted large online purchase was thwarted by my credit card company - thank you - the money value of the theft was not large. The time cost was very high - closing credit cards, replacing driver's license, etc. took a lot of my time and effort. Very significantly, I reported this theft to Muscled Up Movers and after my reaching out to them, several times, they took no action. On 4/1/21 Muscled Up Movers arrived about 20 minutes late to do a 2 hour move at a rate of $55 per person for 3 movers. Bottom line, if they damage your stuff, you're not going to hear back from them. This company lacks integrity all together. Once they arrived late, we walked through the house and discussed what needed to be moved. When we got to the Big Green Egg they asked me if I told them ahead of time because it needed "Special Item" insurance. I said "no" but they decided to move it anyway as a favor for being late. That sounded good to me. Once we got to the moving location, they tried to move the Big Green Egg through the house from the front door going to the back. The movers tried to push the Big Green Egg inside the nest and it got knocked over in to the house causing the bottom of the BGE bottom to shatter as well as a heat deflector inside. The hinge also dented the floors inside our brand new house. The movers apologized and said it would be replaced and oddly come out of their paychecks which I'm pretty sure is wage left and illegal. Anyway, they took pictures and submitted a claim. It's been 18 days since and I've heard from them 1 time. I've every few days and Antwon Gizzard the claims manager is not responding. The first time we spoke they said they were busy with other claims which is fine but its been at least a week since and 0 communication with me. The movers said someone would come out within 72 hours and to leave the egg in the garage and no one has come. Its very inconvenient to have such a large item taking up space in the garage. In addition they caused damage to very expensive furniture that they failed to secure properly. Their solution is to send out a "professional" to fix it but again I've heard nothing. This move cost about $350 which I shouldn't have paid at the time because they caused over $800 in damages which ultimately will make this 2 hour move cost over $1,000. At this point I believe they are ghosting the problem and I will not hear back from them. read more

BEWARE!!! DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!!!! I used Muscled Up Movers recently for a move from the Huntsville area to Birmingham area. I set up the move with Jason. I paid $2542 for the move. On the day of the move, I was contacted by accounting stating I still owed $637. No one could explain to me why I owed an additional $637. I spoke with Karla in accounting numerous times and explained that the movers did not get all of my belongings from my house and I had to pay someone else to return to my house in Huntsville and pack and bring my belongings to Birmingham. The movers were supposed to take some of my belongings to storage and the rest to my new home. They put things in storage that needed to go to my new house and brought things to the house that needed to go to storage!! The movers piled all of my belongings in my storage and did not organize it in any way. I had to pay someone to go to my storage unit and rearrange everything and get the things out that should have never been in there in the first place. AND they damaged my furniture!! Muscled Up Movers debited my checking account for $637 PLUS $165 in late fees that they never explained how I owed any additional money. I contacted them by phone, text and email numerous times after they debited the additional money and I have not heard from anyone!!! It appears they debited my account and are now refusing to talk to me. This company is ONLY about money and does not care about the customer. I don't have a problem paying for any service that I receive but I feel I need to getting the service that I paid for. I was highly disappointed and would not recommend this company for your move!!! I experienced pros and cons. I requested/was promised 3 guys. That morning one of the movers called and said the third guy couldn't make it and that they would have to continue the day with two guys. From their website they clearly have a lot of employees and he made no attempt to find someone else to come in. The two guys were really nice, very respectful, professional, and very careful with everything they handled. Great guys but they were definitely not in any hurry and there was a lot of just standing around. Would I use them again? I'm on the fence. read more

Wow. Just wow. I hate moving!!! (Who doesn't?) but these guys made my move easy! I was moving a 2 story, 3 bedroom home and did NOT want to! I didn't want to do any of it. It was just soooo much stuff and I was dreading it. Several ppl recommend Muscled Up Movers to me, so I went online & started digging. I found loads of 5 star reviews, & a few negative. That's okay. I don't trust anyone that has only positive. I've worked in customer service my whole life, know that some people can have perfect service and still not be happy, and most people only review when things are bad. So, I read the negatives and compared with the positives. Between those and friends' advice, I decided to give them a call. My phone rep, Jasmine, was AMAZING. She listened to what I wanted & what I expected. She went over my entire home with me & gave me an estimated quote & made it very clear that I shouldn't exactly expect that, as her estimate was just based off of our discussion, & it would be based on however long it actually took at my hourly rate. She told me every extra fee I may could come across, & directed me to the website where these same fees were also laid out very clearly. We decided to use 3 men. I wound up doing a pack day & a move day. She took my deposit, & a few hours later I got an email confirmation showing me the details on my work order. She attached a list of cleaning prices (I didn't know that they clean!!!), a list of packing material prices, and their Terms and Conditions, which she said to make sure to read over. On my pack day, I had 2 movers. One was HUGE, and the other, at first glance, wasn't. But,as I got a better look I saw that ever though he was small, he was definitely ripped.& his smaller size let him move quickly and efficiently which was awesome to me, as it was pay by the hour. What would've taken me DAYSSSSS, took them about 5 hours. all my boxes were labeled with the name of who packed it plus what was in it & what room it came from. MY MOVE DAY Same two guys came back, this time with the third guy who was also pretty thin, but again, ripped. The head guy was awesome. Didn't act like I am an idiot because I'm a female. He listened to my ideas, and then we came up with a game plan together. He walked with me through my home & gave me his estimate on how long it would take. I had forgotten some shed things, so he warned me it could be a couple hours over what was estimated on my work order. They put these little pad things on my door frames and gave me a red carpet treatment- long red rugs at the door and on my hardwood to protect it. My move did take a while, butttt, I had a lot of stuff, and a lot of stairs. These guys Worked. Their. Butts. Off. They stayed moving, even when I would distract them with talking. I bought pizza & had drinks for them & made them take a break every so often. They asked if I minded if they took an hour for lunch. of course I didn't. Moving sucks and my clock was stopped so I was happy for them to take a break. I ran some errands & they called me on the way to my unload & I met them there. Same thing. Pads on the wall and floors, same smiling, friendly faces. They asked me if I wanted everything in one spot, or in the rooms they go to. I had them take everything where it went. I tipped them well, sent the rest of the pizza with them, and they left. As I was unpacking I found a few nicks on the wall & a couple pieces of broken dishes. I'm not mad. It happens. I called Jasmine & she directed me to Colstin. He told me he had a couple appointments but said since I let them know early enough that they would take care of everything. I believe the terms says a week? It was 2 days later that I had called. He came out a day later & I showed him the small damages, he made some notes & told me he would give me a call. (i wasn't in a rush)Two days later he called and asked if he could come out the next day. I said yes, and he did. Patched up the nicks on the wall and fixed a wobbly table leg. That was a week ago. Today, he just left, after bringing me a new glassware replacement!! These guys were amazing from start to finish. I never would've thought moving could not only be not-stressful, but even fun. And while I Hope I don't have to do it again for a long time, if I did I definitely wouldn't be dreading it. I would just call them back. I don't write reviews often, but damn if these guys didn't earn it! I noticed the last couple most recent reviews on here weren't the best, so I wanted to make sure to let anyone who is looking know- DON'T hesitate to call them!!!!! I promise you that you won't regret it. I don't understand the reviews about "hidden fees", as everything was definitely explained. My guys were definitely muscled up, and there were no issues with my money. Yes I gave them my cc info for my deposit, and the confirmation said if I didn't pay then my card would be charged. Beware! Do not hire these movers! They gave us a low move price and in the end the their price doubled! They sent out movers who were working in slow motion, taking their time, on the phone, taking pictures of my boxes when th wet should of been working. The hours it should of took doubled! They had the nerve to even charge us for their lunch hour! They first denied taking a lunch to their boss. Luckily I saw their sonic stuff in the truck and busted them. I contacted Sonic who confirmed they were there eating on the patio! It took a week of arguing with the owner Joseph who didn't care at all. After sending in the proof from the sonic employee, the jerk owner finally agreed to credit me for their lunch hour! The customer service and claims department guy Josh are useless and rude. You will get no help from anyone there. This company is a complete scam! They give you a low price then get your credit card info for the $150 deposit and then they will charge you whatever the owner and the movers decide. Also as for your items, plan on at least a half of dozen things being broken and then the mover guy will take a picture after the fact and tell his boss that it was broke before they touched it. Beware of using this Company for your move! I was quoted a price over the phone and paid a $150 deposit on my credit card as required. I asked the Manager to come to my home and look at what all needed to be moved after I told him over the phone. He didn't. 3 non-musceled up movers showed up late. Took all day to pack the truck which was too small. Said they would have to come back and finish the next day at our new house to unpack. Just left with all of our boxes. We had to stay in a hotel for 2 nights. They also scratched and damaged a lot of our furniture. Then they went back and charged our credit card twice the quote, plus we wrote a check for a second day. I'm still in shock! More than twice the quote, plus the hotel. I've moved a lot in my past and never had this nightmare of a move or the cost. Again, beware of them!!! Don't be fooled like I was. Use a reputable company that comes out, looks and gives you a firm, written cost. And don't give out your credit card number so they will charge you double, plus, without authorization.
