I have been shocked on this company, I had a rate increase by $65 dollars, I just got the place in November of 2024 and now I'm told it's going to raise my unit and every 3 and 9 months.as well. Outrageous!! And after just getting the unit I'm got with this kind of increase??? I'm now looking for another unit and will never deal with this company again!!! Lol hard for a unit but don't use this company they tip you off ..i will get the word out on all social media platforms this company is a rip .off!! I rented a rv spot in September to store my rv in October started billing me in September which is fine had my spot secure for when I would be bring it in on 10/23 we pulled rv in the storage spot on 10/26 we received a call from them saying we have to pull it out because they were doing construction they new ahead they were doing this but continued to rent spots and take our money they said they sent out certified letter but i have not gotten it yet so it will be less than 30 day we have to have our trailer out by 11/20 I have no spot yet my husband and I are senior citizens and we live 3 hrs away very bad customer service and no refund also when I called to complain at the corporate office in Colorado the hung up on me I was super to hat s phone call from there New Jersey district manager no phone call horrible company dont use them read more

I never have a problem when going into the storage unit. Maryanne was a great help in helping me with my storage unit. I was organizing the storage unit and she was doing her rounds. I really had to use the restroom and thankfully she was there and she made sure everything was okay and gave my family and I a water. She is very kind and always has a smile on her face whenever I see her. read more

I have been a customer of iStorage in Rio Grande NJ since 2018. There was a different manager when I signed the contract. He was wonderful. The past month I had a problem because my auto pay stopped when my credit card was lost. I never received an invoice or reminder that I had to pay the bill manually or restart auto pay. In fact, the assistant manager actually waited five days post due date to text me a reminder ( (the very day a late fee kicked in, just to make sure I got stuck with a 20 late fee) I asked her to forego the late fee as I never received a bill and offered to pay right away. She refused. I asked her to have the manager call me and either she did not pass on the message or the manager Candace never bothered to call. These employees are far different from the original office manager who signed me up. This is not how you should treat a customer who has paid timely since the beginning of the lease over 3 years ago. The original office manager was a gem. I can't even get a return call from the present manager. All of this is particularly disappointing from customer service standpoint given that we are in the middle of a pandemic and so many companies are bending over backwards to consider the financial and emotional hardships their customers may be enduring. read more

I recently was in need of a storage unit and was referred to istorage by a friend of mine...and that's the day I met the property manager, Dean :) My bf, Joe, and I immediately felt welcomed into the office to discuss our storage options. Dean described in detail all of the available sizes and different climate options and the pricing for each. We then took a ride on "Big Bertha" to visually check out the size we had decided on. We returned to office to complete the paperwork and again Dean happily went over ALL of the fine print (Due Date; Late Payments & Fines; Payment Options; Specials; Hours of Operation; Security Codes; Warranty/Insurance; etc..) on the contract. Through but not repetitive is my opinion of excellent customer service. But more importantly I can honestly say my bf and I left istorage in a better mood than we came with bc of Dean's upbeat and positive personality.
