Ducked in a few times to try some different food and evaluate the spot for my Hollywood Beach Food Tours and it was a fine time, here's why: * Excellent decor--it is clear they put a of of money and thought into the design aesthetic of the place and it looks nice. * Excellent service from Matteo, aka Il Capitano. Well done, see you next visit. * I love the food. I enjoyed a breakfast sammy one visit, and Tiramisu the next, both were fabulous and fairly priced. Good stuff, see you there. Cabeza OUT!

We saw some good reviews on Yelp and we walked by and looked at the menu and decided to give it a try. We were blown away. The homemade pasta is perfection. The rigatoni tartufo and spaghetti carbonara were spectacular. The caprese salad with chicken was also really good. The service was outstanding as our waiter was from Italy and we had some great conversations. The deserts of chocolate cake (Italian not American) was delicious, but the cannolo arancia was to die for. We even got to try the pizza positano (it was awesome)!!

    Alfredo Pasta with Shrimp

I really enjoyed my pasta, did not need a reservation to be seated. Was pretty confused with there being no host. I had the alfredo pasta with shrimp, pretty solid. Was still a little hungry afterwards.

Carbonara, missing sauce (no egg or cream sauce)

Understaffed creating an uncomfortable environment. It's not the individual staffs fault but they were understaffed. Carbonara was the worst carbonara, it was not made with an egg or cream sauce, it's like they forgot the sauce and added pasta water. And the table next us had a completely different looking carbonara, looked creamy. Dinner Menu was surcharged, up $5 from regular menu. We had to ask to find our reservation. Wait service was 15+ min after seated (only because we grabbed their attention). Pizza was good. Staff never checked on us but it was because they were too busy. Check took an hour after asking for it three times. This was our first time visiting the restaurant and we were really looking forward to it. As a local, we were excited for the possibility of good Italian food in a great location next to the bandshell. Unfortunately, we felt like a burden to the understaffed team, got terrible pasta and the check took so long we missed the band. Not a good experience and sad that we won't return. We hope the restaurant management hears us and adjusts accordingly. We wish you success but this isn't the formula yet.

Delicious. The service was great, and the salads were very refreshing. Very inexpensive for the area. If you want true Italian vibes, come here.

    Pistachio and chocolate canoli

Service and food were amazing! We were a group of five. Our server was very attentive and every dish we ordered was excellent - might be the best pizza I've ever had.

Their version of Cacio e pepe with mushrooms

Modern Italian restaurant complete with menu and service direct from Italy with the lax service you find in Rome. The Cacio e pepe was ziti rather than a capellini noodle and yes there was oil at the bottom of the bowl.

Keep an eye out for the charming blue-and-white stand topped with American flags, set back from the road, it's easy to miss, but worth seeking out. The Siciliano family has been serving the Miami community for decades. In October 1961, Louis Siciliano opened a sub shop at 711 NW 119th Street in Miami. Although the original location has since closed, the family legacy continues with Siciliano's Frozen Custard and the neighboring Sub Center and Siciliano's Subs, all operated by members of the Siciliano family. Don Drybread, Louis Siciliano's great-grandson, originally opened the custard stand as Uncle Tony's Frozen Custard before renaming it Siciliano's in honor of his mother's side of the family. Siciliano's specializes in frozen custard, which differs from traditional ice cream by containing egg yolks and being churned with less air. The result is a denser, richer, silkier dessert with a smooth texture. It's also served at a slightly warmer temperature than ice cream, allowing you to savor its rich flavor. The custard is made fresh throughout the day, ensuring the perfect consistency every time. Custard is offered in the classic flavors of vanilla, chocolate, and a twist of both, available in cups or cones with your choice of nuts, candy, fruit, or sauce toppings. The menu also features sundaes, sorbet, milkshakes, and their signature thick Hurricanes. For something a little different, Carolyn's Creations transforms the custard into treats like cannolis, dessert tacos, and ice cream sandwiches. I ordered a medium vanilla custard topped with butterscotch and it was so satisfying. The rich, creamy custard made the perfect treat on a hot summer day. There isn't any indoor seating, but there are picnic tables next to the Sub Center, which is great spot to savor your sub or custard.

The baked treats are all dairy free, egg free and vegan. We purchased the banana mini cake which was moist and delish. The big deal is every Tuesday with $2.00 mini cakes. We came on a very busy time since there were over twenty customers on a food walk tour trying to get their baked treats at once and it seemed the person behind the counter was overwhelmed, and I was too. The shop had really nostalgic items from the 70s and 80s scattered around the room including old albums and toys with a nice giant blue velvetish shoe seat. The parking was easy on the street for $1.50 an hour so not bad at all. They do offer a big parking garage too.

Immediately I was drawn in by the amazing music playlist that was playing and was immediately in awe by their cool things they had! Lots of vintage, lots of music, a little bit of everything! They have coffee, ice cream, and cakes! They are vegan, and have a lot of alternatives like no dairy c no eggs and such. The woman who helped us was super nice and attentive and was sure to get our order in. I'll definitely be sure to visit again !!
