Luckily, I can say the meal was everything I was looking forward to & then some. They don't take reservations which is a bit annoying but my party was seated quickly. It was busy for an early Thursday evening but that's never an issue if service is efficient. After being sat our server came over quickly, took our drink order & got the appetizers in. I love the freshly baked bread & olive oil they offer as you wait. I was a bit surprised with how quickly everything came out. The calamari had the perfect amount of breading & wasn't the slightest bit greasy. You can taste the freshness as they don't season it too heavily & let the squid do the talking. My penne with broccoli & chicken was massive. They sure don't hold out when it comes to the portions. The olive oil/garlic sauce is a nice change up from the usual marinara & Alfredo; not too heavy but definitely filling. We came here to celebrate a birthday & they brought out a nicely plated cannoli at the end, it was also delicious. Service was fantastic, as our waiter & the food runners stayed on top of everything. Drinks were kept filled, dirty plates were cleared fast & everyone was very friendly. I honestly can't think of a single negative thing to say. I'm already looking forward to coming back soon.

Ran across this lil trattoria while out and about one day running errands.... Mind you I'm a pizza taco beef stew meatloaf : KISS "keep it simple stupid " attitude towards food... We (friend and I) stopped in and decided to check it out. Well lo and behold I can only say lovely things about the place since they make everything fresh you can see them cooking the food there and you sit and converse and relax.... They have a build your own pasta dis option and they have the regular options and the ratio to person food is a lot... I had sausage personal zaaaa and friend had chicken fettuccini and we were both full with just a couple of bites... the food is flavorful and come to you piping hot which I like my food to be. They have wines and soft drinks. My favorite the moscato wine, fruitful and bold... their deserts the tiramisu ohhhh light and heavenly just the right amount of everything.... If you're going to be in Broward near the city of Plantation it's a must try .... Place is tucked in a lil strip mall area but the ambiance is absolutely worth going.... And the wait staff is very attentive to what you may need ....

I did note that everyone spoke Spanish, not Italian. When I was seated, I was alone in the place. Within the hour, the tables filled quickly. The Carbonara was nice. My Caesar Salad was good. The Chicago thin-styled pizza was fair. I say fair because the crust could have held-up a bit better under the weight of toppings. Everything was adequate. There are so many Italian restaurants in South Florida, it's really hard to be blown-away. The last time I had an amazing Italian meal was about 30 years ago at Casa D'Angelo in Ft. Lauderdale. His Aventura location doesn't even compare. I will say that if I'm in this area and want Italian (sans a chain), I would dine here again. The service was stellar.

Large bay doors stay open, creating an inviting open-air atmosphere with plenty of fresh air and a relaxed vibe. Inside, every table has a view of the traditional wood-burning brick oven, along with multiple flat screens and music playing throughout the restaurant. One detail that stood out immediately was the visible service dog sign near the hostess stand. I was seated right away, and they even brought out a water bowl for my service dog without needing to ask. The server was knowledgeable about the menu, offered helpful recommendations, and confirmed they provide a 20% discount for military members and first responders on select meals, which is always appreciated. I shared a large Mona Lisa pizza topped with fresh basil, prosciutto, and thick slices of tomato. The thin crust came out perfectly crisp with just the right amount of char from the brick oven. Service was friendly overall, although it appeared the server may have been covering too many tables. Drink refills were missed, and it took a little while to close out the check. Even with that, the food, atmosphere, military-friendly discount, and service dog accommodations make this a place worth visiting for either lunch or dinner.

The tiramisu was a very generous portion , soft and fluffy. And delishhh! The staff was friendly and attentive. And it didn't break the bank. From my 10 year olds perspective: It was really good. He took his time, he answered all questions and gave excellent suggestions about how much food we needed and what would be best for our vegetarians and vegans. He gave us an amazing price and even threw in grated cheese and a half pan of garlic rolls. Food arrived on time. The delivery girl stayed and helped me set up a grazing table and all the food, she helped me with set up of decorations too. She was so helpful and caring and I couldn't have done it without her. The place is a little hidden from street view so just search on any maps app and you'll find it no issue. It's located in a plaza so parking was easy. We were seated super quickly, and our server Roberto, was everything you would want on a top notch service. I believe has something to do with management as well because his service was more than incredible, I asked for recommendations and the first thing he asked is what I liked, and based on that he recommended the type of pasta that would go perfectly with my choice. I chose the truffle pasta and decided to add chicken to it. It blended perfectly and it was so creamy my palate was delighted. I also tried the FIOCCHETTO PEAR & GORGONZOLA. Wow- you have to try it. You can tell pasta is made super fresh and with this perfection the food came out quickly. Prices are fair for the level of goodness. Didn't try dessert this time, but definitely will go back. Ambience is quiet, great to have conversation. A must go.
