Plenty of outdoor seating, cornhole, giant connect 4, tabletop jenga :)

Excellent flavors from several mom-and-pop ice cream makers, options for folks with dietary restrictions, excellent toppings, great indoor and outdoor seating options with music, yard and table games make this an awesome experience for families with kids, anyone looking for a place to hang out with friends, sports teams, and anyone who just likes ice cream :). The friendly and knowledgeable owner Mike is always there and happy to help with samples and answer questions, also.

We have been meaning to stop in here for awhile and we finally did today. What a great place. I'm so glad we did. The woman and young girl behind the counter were very sweet and helpful. I tried 3 different flavors and chose the sweet corn since it's seasonal and who knows how long it will be around. My boyfriend had a large chocolate sundae. We sat outside in there patio area and enjoyed our ice cream. We met the owner who was coming back from a delivery possible and he came over to say hello and explain how he's going to get the tvs on the patio up and running as well as music playing. He also told us about their dinner nights. I had read about them online and we will definitely have to come back and check that out one Friday night.

Outside seating

The ice cream is amazing, you can tell they use the best ingredients. But besides that the vibe is 10/10. Old school board games? Obsessed! Then the outside patio area. My kids were in heaven and didn't want to leave. Such a hidden gem! And the staff was super friendly .

Stopped by for the first time to have breakfast with my husband. We really enjoyed our meal. It's a…read morevery casual place with a few tables to dine at. The space is small but comfortable. You order at the counter and the staff will bring your order today you. It comes in packaging ready to go which is convenient for leftovers. The staff was very nice. I ordered the omelette and customized it with egg whites, a berry crepe, and my husband had a breakfast crepe. The food was delicious and came out perfect. The crepes are huge and stuffed to the max. Definitely worth the value! Can't wait to try more crepe variations in the future! A couple of notes: It can get a little cold with the door constantly opening so dress warm if it's cold outside. Also, when they are busy, the kiosk constantly bings with new orders.

Came here early Sunday afternoon looking for breakfast, and this spot was it for the weekend…read more There's metered street parking, so that's no issue. There are several metal chairs and taxes out front. The spot was crowded, but jas customers in and out as I sat to eat my breakfast. I ordered the 3 eggs omlette with spinach, Swiss, and bacon with a large cappuccino. The cappuccino was large, so I'll order the small next time. But my omelet came with a butter crossaint, mixed green salad with a half slice of pineapple, and strawberry jam in a recycled brown cardboard container. The food was fresh and delicious. Service was prompt and courteous. I'm definitely adding this on my go-to list!!

What an excellent find on the lower east side…read more Mrs. E. is a sweet crepe aficionado. If it's not honey and butter she would've ordered the apple, caramel and walnut crepe. She reports an excellent experience! I tried the more savory Smoked Turkey with shrooms and Swiss Cheese. As big as they are, it was so good I was still thinking of getting seconds. They also have vegetarian, fruit and chocolate crepes. They are open until 2am. Not that we'd ever need it, it's nice to know. We stopped at a good time mid-morning, not too long a line and it moved pretty fast. The place is a bit small but there's seating outside. If there wasn't so much NYC to see, we would definitely be back. 10/24

Solid! We spent 3 weeks in Paris in the springtime and I fell even more in love with crêpes and…read moregalettes while there, so naturally I'm searching for good crêpes at home. Creperie on Ludlow St came up in my search and we happened to be down that way on Sunday. I'm also a huge ice cream and gelato fan, but husband is lactose intolerant so he prefers non-dairy. Last year we discovered the amazing vegan ice cream at Orchard Grocery, but I wanted the real thing this trip and he apparently hadn't wanted a frozen treat at all so wouldn't do Orchard Grocer for himself and a different place for me. Happy medium? Share a good crêpe! We found it at Crêperie. SO many choices, many similar to ones we loved in France. Extensive selection, but it didn't take long to decide on the apple-walnut-caramel crêpe to share, costing not much more than 2 ice creams. We watched the lone young man as he poured batter onto the round griddle to just the perfect thinness; as he expertly flipped it; as he loaded on plenty of apple compote, plenty of walnuts, and gently squeezed caramel sauce. Then he folded it into a neat rectangle, scooped it into an exactly the same size pan, flipped the whole thing over onto another griddle and left it to heat while he made a crêpe for the person behind us. At exactly the right moment (was he watching the clock? or maybe he's just THAT good!), he flipped it over, slid the crêpe onto a plate, artistically drizzled more caramel sauce on top and then gently shook some powdered sugar over it. Handed me 2 forks and knives and we sat on stools at the counter for our Sunday afternoon treat! Excellent! They have several savory crêpes (in Paris, those were usually buckwheat crêpes called galettes) and many sweet ones. Unfortunately it's more of a takeout place, with just the few stools at a counter inside, and a couple of small tables outside. I'm still looking for a genuine Parisian-style restaurant with a good selection of galettes and crêpes - but this was a great find and I definitely recommend it to you!
