It tastes like no peach rings you have ever experienced. I don't even like peach rings like that. Strangely, it feels like love was literally put in the bag. There is a large selection of dresses, aloha shirts, T-shirts and souvenirs, the kind that you find on Front Street so you are getting a real bargain here on the exact same stuff you would find a lot more expensive elsewhere. The service here was friendly and helpful! One of the best things about this store is they have their own FREE parking lot which is a rare find in the Front Street area of Lahaina. We visit Front St multiple times during each trip to the island and we stopped into Whalers twice in the last week. It's just a general store with a few trinkets/souvenirs. We bought some bottled water for the afternoon walk around Lahaina town. Cost is pretty much on par with island pricing. They also have snacks/chips/etc. In the past we have bought additional items. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is really the size. It's quite small compared to places like ABC Store but I'd rather support a local business than a corporate spot like ABC.

There was ample parking at the store where the tour left from. We took an air-conditioned sprinter van slightly up the hill to get to the land where the cocoa beans are actually grown. Our tour guide was Gabriel and he was extremely knowledgeable. After learning all about the process of growing, harvesting, and drying the cocoa beans, we got to partake in a delicious sampling in what can only be described as an adult "treehouse". With 360 panoramic views, and a wonderful breeze, we listened as Gabriel explained the various chocolates we were sampling and I thoroughly enjoyed each and everyone. Once back at the shop, we had the opportunity to purchase chocolate and also try a variety of items from their café menu if we wanted (for additional charge). All in all, the tour was a wonderful and educational experience and definitely opened my eyes to the deliciousness of the Maui Kuia Estate Chocolate.
