We could not stop eating them! The LiHing Mango and dried Papaya were also very delicious and had the perfect combination of flavor and texture. The LiHing gummy Peach rings are unexplainable. It tastes like no peach rings you have ever experienced. I don't even like peach rings like that. Strangely, it feels like love was literally put in the bag. It's not listed as an ingredient, but it's totally in there. Maybe it's Aloha, maybe it's just quality ingredients. There is a large selection of dresses, aloha shirts, T-shirts and souvenirs, the kind that you find on Front Street so you are getting a real bargain here on the exact same stuff you would find a lot more expensive elsewhere. The service here was friendly and helpful! One of the best things about this store is they have their own FREE parking lot which is a rare find in the Front Street area of Lahaina. We visit Front St multiple times during each trip to the island and we stopped into Whalers twice in the last week. It's just a general store with a few trinkets/souvenirs. We bought some bottled water for the afternoon walk around Lahaina town. Cost is pretty much on par with island pricing. They also have snacks/chips/etc. In the past we have bought additional items. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is really the size. It's quite small compared to places like ABC Store but I'd rather support a local business than a corporate spot like ABC.

In the Kihei location, they also hold their fudge making class, which I've heard about and have been wanting to try. I had no idea it was the same company. It was all coming together! The same girl proudly told us she had samples of every single flavor and happily obliged when we asked for specific flavors. As much as I loved the turtle flavor, I ended up randomly getting the Maui mud pie. Go figure! I "just knew" I would like that flavor and I do! She also gave us a sample of the toffee and I picked up a box as a gift for someone. Both are delicious ~ Actually, all their flavors are good! In addition to fudge & toffee, they also sell taffy and coconut candy. Everything in their little shop is $8.50. $8.50 for one little block of fudge, you say?! YEP. Ono Gelato is the real deal, and you can taste it in every bite. Their gelato is made daily from scratch by a third-generation gelato maker from Torino, Italy, using whole milk, heavy cream, and egg yolks, with select ingredients imported directly from Italy. The authenticity truly shows. I tried the Coffee Crunch and Cookies & Cream, and both were outstanding. The Coffee Crunch was rich and smooth with bold coffee flavor, packed with macadamia nuts and chocolate chunks that added the perfect balance of creamy and crunchy. I'm completely obsessed. The Cookies & Cream was ultra-creamy and generously loaded with cookie pieces, not icy or overly sweet. Signage isn't clear either. The "only 21 and over past this point" should have a blurb about no alcohol in the main seating. Oh well, we worked with it.
