These new owners have finally turned me off. 3 times in the past month I've stopped for rye bread and all 3 times they've been out and have said they won't be making any more soon. Wouldn't you think if you sell out you'd put it on the schedule to make more. I also purchased a dozen chocolate chip cookies and discovered 2 were half pieces (essentially i got 11 cookies). They also seemed to quit carrying local products (i.e. maple syrup). Such a shame a local institution has declined so significantly.

Although the sign blends into the environment, the idea of baked goods always catches my attention. My husband purchased a red velvet brownie which must have been amazing because he wasn't willing to share, only commenting that it was soft,chewy and delicious. When he wasn't looking, I stole a pumpkin cookie out of the bag and packed the moist, cake-like cookie into my mouth like a squirrel. The frosting on top is what made it for me, not too sweet or gritty - I really like soft cookies and (if this place wasn't an hour away) would gladly come back for more. They also offered a variety of cake pop flavors, stunning special occasion cakes & cute little pies. The prices are a little higher than what I'm used to back home but not unreasonable either.
