I called to verify dropping off my iPad for repairs. Neither the website nor maps and more importantly, the tech on the phone explained that the Ridgewood location was closed due to covid. Update: The replacement glass that iTech installed started to come apart from the phone this June (approximately 7-8 months after I got it installed) The glue that was used to attach the bracket to the replacement glass (which secures the glass to the rest of the phone) seemed to fail. In researching this online, people said that this glue issue happens often with some cheaper Chinese manufacturers of replacement screens. It was a very humid spring, so possibly this accelerated the problem. In August, the screen really started to buckle, exposing the inside of the phone so I had to take it to get repaired again. This time, I took the phone to Apple in Woodcliff Lake. read more

I drop, break, and damage my phones more times than should be humanly allowed, and I only fix them when it gets to the point where it's absolutely NECESSARY. Welp, Yelp.... This is the spot that saves my behind every time, and for the LOW-LOW. The prices are a steal, when it comes to repairing smartphones. For the speed and quality of their parts and service, you may wonder what the catch is. For example, to fix an iPhone 4S screen (LCD & digitizer), you only spend a whopping $60 +tax! Geez, most people have to spend that just on fresh air upon walking INTO the Apple Store! Seriously, though. All of their repairs are MORE-than-fairly priced. Their screens are "oleo-phobic" (if I'm spelling that correctly), which means that when they're new, they are oil-repellent. Or some junk like that. I wish I had the picture of my cracked screen to show for this review. I took my phone to the baseball field and it must have been hit with a ball or sat on but it was shattered. I called Verizon and they were useless ( shocker! ) Their solution was to buy a new phone out of contract for $699. They also offered to sell me a 3 year old certified pre owned for $399. Took the phone here around 11am and they had a few items ahead of me. He said to come back around 3 and it will be ready. I came back around 2:30 and it was ready. They told me the LCD was a little damaged as well. He gave me a little discount becuase he felt bad that my LCD was messed up too, and there was no way for them to notice. I will say that the phone looks a thousand times better. One little disclaimer is the screen is not as sensitive as it used to be. Sometimes you have to hit the screen a few times, but to pay $125 instead of $699 I will take that all day long. They turned this phone around in less than 4 hours. read more

Had my phone get absolutely wrecked - glass shattered and the LCD display was totally ruined. I noticed that they had great reviews so my boyfriend took it in to get fixed for me, and it was done relatively quickly. They're definitely in the lower price range for the NYC/NJ area, so that was a huge selling point. Only reason I'm deducting a star is because my home button was broken by the time I got my phone back. I'm assuming it was just a simple little mistake, but it caused a lot of inconvenience; Siri is SUPER annoying. Regardless, I brought it in, they fixed the mistake without charge, and included a free tempered glass screen protector. Great customer service, low rates, and quick turnover. Honest guys here. I recently tried to change the battery on my Nexus 5 and screwed up my phone. Desperate I took this phone to iTech.....on a busy Saturday they said they would look at it and get back to me. By 4pm I had gotten a call back. While they couldn't fix the phone they were still straight up and honest and didn't charge me anything to look at it. What more can you ask for. read more

Took my perfectly functioning 4S to a mall kiosk for a simple cracked screen replacement. 2 hours later my phone was in a gazillion pieces, the "tech" was in tears ... He said there was something wrong with my phone, apparently he had "never seen this defect before!" And that I should leave it overnight. I was not ok with that! He put all the components in a dirty old ziplock bag and I got out ASAP. I got home and asked local FB friends for recommendations, many friends sent me to iTech in Ridgewood... This place is the absolute worst. We called on 12/27 and told them we needed our son's iPad repaired by 12/31 as we were going on vacation on 1/1 and they said, "no problem, it will be ready by Monday 12/30." Checked in on 12/30, were told they would try to have it by EOD but "worst case" 12/31 am. Called twice in 12/31, "doing best we can", "technicians called out two days in a row", yada yada yada. Now our son has no iPad for the flight. If they couldn't guarantee us this would be ready that would have been fine. We could have taken it somewhere else. Instead, now we see screwed. This was, hands down, the easiest and most pleasant tech repair experience I have ever had. After being told by another repair center that it was no longer servicing iPhone 4s phones (which, in my experience, has been the case more often than not when I don't have the latest equipment), I found iTech Cellular, and I'm so glad I did. Not only were they able to fix the LCD bleed on my screen, but they did it quickly. I didn't have to leave my phone overnight. Last year I cracked my Samsung S3 screen and my friend had the same issue. We took both of our phones here, and within an hour, they were both fixed. I never had any issues after. Fast forward this year, 3 weeks after my daughter get the iPhone5, and shatters the screen. I made an appointment for a Saturday no less, and they took it in. I am thinking about an hour. Nope, 15 minutes. Yup, that is it. Went back to get it, and it was like new. Picked up an otterbox, and the gentleman at the counter put her phone in it, and we were on our way. Excellent service. Very friendly, professional and they make you feel very comfortable. I needed a new battery for my Samsung S7 they had it in stock most places don't carry replacement parts 4 or older units. I dropped off to phone without an appointment and it was ready in about an hour. The gentleman who who greeted me at the front desk is extremely knowledgeable and helpful and thoroughly explained what needed to be done. I went to Verizon in Paramus to get my Samsung Galaxy cracked screen to find they are not interested in talking to anyone without Insurance about a repair. THEY recommended iTech. There was only one review on Yelp at the time (that seemed like it might not have been from an actual customer, it happens) but I gave it a shot anyway. Well I was VERY satisfied. The techs are very helpful, no appointment needed, fixed in 2 hours (on an obviously busy Saturday). I hope they can stick around, their variety of their service and technical abilities seemed quite diverse based on the many different customer needs that came through the door while I was there (for no more than a total of 20 minutes or so).
