Long story short, they could not fix my computer and my best bet is to look for an independent company to recover my data. I may not be a doctor or a scientist looking for the cure to cancer. Spoke to previous clients for a reference and found that his turnaround time may not be as quick as I want it to be. Helpless and hopeless - NEED MY MACBOOK FIXED ASAP. @ 5:45 PM: Found Intrepid - Josh's company with amazing reviews. Called him. He texted back because he could not pick up. He was able to ask me relevant questions right off the bat and was able to give me a little bit of comfort, but not too much hope. He did not want to over promise and under deliver, I later found. I made an appointment with him for Thursday, 3/23/2017 at 6pm. Thursday 3:23 @ 6PM: YES HE IS MOBILE. YES HE COMES TO YOU. He arrived at my house right on time. He even offered to take his shoes off, which I really appreciate since we do not wear shoes in the house. He got right to work and was prepared. He was thorough, quick, smart, and very efficient. When he tells you that he will be done in an hour, that is literally the case. YES MY DATA WAS RECOVERED AND I AM NOW A NORMAL PERSON AGAIN!!! Thanks to Josh, I have all of my data and my hard drive is now safe and secure. For those of you who are wondering: my MacBook is no longer usable. But, that is NOT why I needed Josh. My MacBook was the least of my worries. I bought it in 2010 and should I not able to be used again, I did not mind. All I cared about was my data, which Josh DID save, recovered, and even gave me a little storing container and pouch to store my hard drive in. I now have ALL of my data recovered from my hard drive AND the proud owner of a pretty and shiny MacBook Pro with touchbar as an (early) graduation gift from my parents =) =) I am forever indebted to Josh and WILL call him whenever I need any technical support. Not bad I found this guy on Yelp and I gave him a call he came over within an hour looked at my TV…read moreand told me what was wrong with it he picked up my TV I didn't even have to bring it to him I couldn't believe the settlement picked up this huge TV all by himself but he did have someone working with him I had to wait about three weeks for two separate parts to come in I think this is about a 45 inch screen not sure even though the wait was quite a bit he delivered it Set it up and it cost me less than $400 Yes I thought the price was pretty steep Considering I gave him $60 deposit and was told it would run around two $75-$300 And yes it took longer than I expected I could have for another television The warrantee is 90 days. I've had it back for a little over a week and it seems to be doing fine And I can finally catch up with The Walking Dead But now I'm upset because Cole got bit by a walker and I wasn't expecting that and now I'm in tears.

On 8/24/16 me and my friend came in to purchase a Lumee phone case, the ones that light up on the…read moresides. They had been promoting it on their Instagram for $35 and online it goes for a little over $50. They also claimed that the cases were authentic so I was all for getting one at a cheaper price, of course. Anyway, when we came in a gentleman named Juan assisted us and Showed us the case and how they work and all that good stuff. I was happy with what I saw until he told me they were $45 and when I mentioned the Instagram post he insisted that they were never $35 (see attached picture). Juan also reassured me that the cases were authentic and were cheaper then the online price so both me and my friend purchased them anyway. A day later my friend had realized that the cases were in fact NOT authentic and we had been lied to. Honestly, if I wanted a fake light up phone case I could've easily bought one off EBay or Amazon for like $10 so I was definitely aggravated that I spent so much on something that wasn't real even after being told it was. On 8/26/16 we went to the store to return them and that's when things started going south. Juan was there again and I explained to him why we didn't want them. He said he could take the return but that he could not process it himself and for us to leave our name, number and email address and that we should get the return within like three business days. Mind you, this was a Friday so I'm like okay I'll give it till the Wednesday coming up and we should be fine. Well Wednesday came and went and nothing. I emailed the store and got no response. waited a few more days and still nothing in either of our accounts - going on a week now. Finally I sent another email and the manager called me back. The funny thing is he made it seem like I was being dramatic over wanting my money back. He proceeded to tell me "it's only been a few days and that he's not in the business of stealing money." Excuse me, but a return does not take over a week, I'm sorry. Anyway he said he would take care of it that night which was 9/1/16 - I finally received my return on 9/9/16 which was two weeks after I returned the item. Dealing with the unprofessionalism of this place has been nothing but a headache. Honestly, the truth is that all these 5 star reviews are because they offer you a discount if you leave a good review. The store refused to honor any kind of warranty or refund, claiming the crack was my fault despite no evidence of a drop. They define their "premium" screens as simply having "touch functionality," which is misleading to the customer. Save your money and go to a shop that stands behind their repairs.
