Their 2 year warranty is just for their sales advertisement, when you need it, like you will with few weeks or months, they won't be there for you. I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from your company after my installation. I had lights installed on my home in November 2024, and I began experiencing issues with the upgraded color lights shortly after Christmas 2025. I contacted your team four times regarding three lights that were not working or connecting, yet I was unable to obtain a service manual, reconnection instructions, or any helpful troubleshooting support. I was told that a technician would need to be scheduled and that it might fall under warranty, otherwise there would be a $99 service charge. Since I cannot safely access the pitch of my roof, I agreed to the service visit and asked for clarity on warranty coverage, as well as a one‑hour lead time before the appointment so I could leave work to meet the technician. Despite this, your team made two unsuccessful service attempts without providing the requested one‑hour notice, without a phone call, and without even a standard time‑window (such as 11 a.m.-2 p.m. or 12 p.m.-5 p.m.). I repeatedly asked for weekend scheduling options, warranty details, and a troubleshooting guide, and none of this information was provided. Four days before New Year's, I turned off the color lights and switched back to white lights, only to find that they also no longer work. Beware of this company. They only come out for first install. Once they are paid the manager / owner Luis ghosts you! So much for 2 year warranty. I even had an appointment last week for more work. Never showed (this is the second time they didnt show for an appointment), or answered any calls or texts. I have made sure to tell my neighbor that reached out to them to go with another company. I have never in my life wrote a bad review for a company so that itself should say a lot. iTek is absolutely great at giving pricing and coming out to install your new equipment in the very beginning but trying to get them to do any warranty work afterwards is a joke. We've had our lights for a little over a year and have had to call them out multiple times to make repairs in which two times they literally never showed up. All appointments they did show up for they were HOURS late for with no notification as well. I would not recommend them to anyone as you can find better service elsewhere. read more

HEADS UP: TOTAL RIP-OFF! Don't trust these guys! They put in some shoddy recessed and accent lights that don't do what they said (can't control the lights, colors not working ...). And guess what? The lights broke down in just a week. Now, they're ghosting my calls, texts, FB messages, and even blocked me on social media. Seriously, go somewhere else and save your hard earned money . Just to clear up some stuff after the owner's response: - Yep, you guys did have to come back 'cause those lights went kaput after just a few days. RUN FAR FAR AWAY !!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. Long review alert but you will thank me later. This review will be very thorough just in case this "so called company" wants to reply back with LIES!! On July 8, 2022 I had outdoor cameras installed by ITEK Houston. On July 10, 2022 I could not login in on my app on my cell phone to view cameras. I kept receiving an error message of username or password failure when I know I had the correct username and password. I was told by ITEK that it was my internet connection problem. So I rebooted my modem and everything seems fine for only a few days before I received ANOTHER error message. This time the error message was different and stated "Device may not be offline". This message come and goes so the cameras only worked when they wanted to. It was very inconvenient especially if I'm away from home or out of town. I was basically playing Russian Roulette with these cameras that are not cheap. Everyday is a risky gamble game wondering if these cameras are going to work or not. So I called and advise ITEK of the problem. They never picked up the phone only text . So they advise me to resetting the WIFI router , unplugging it for 5 seconds and then plug it back in- nothing work I still ended up with the same result. They was so quick to blame the router when my wifi is fine. All my other devices operate fine on wifi just the cameras did not. Then they had the audacity to say they will charge me $99 if the wifi name is changed. Granted one month later someone came out just to troubleshoot. And guess what? Risky gamble game again. So I have been telling them about the same issues and sending videos for months. They told me that will hard wire the system. Once they came back to hard wire the system. I asked them what I am I to do if this happens again? They ensured me that it will not happen again. Well not even a month later and indeed the cameras are still giving the same result and not operating. Now they are ghosting my calls and ignoring my text messages . I have left voicemails and tried every way possible to get in contact with them. And nothing -no reply or response So do yourself a favor and go it a RING camera system from Sam's or Best Buy. You will be better off as far as product and money. ITEK should be ashamed of themselves . And My cameras are still not working. So here I go having to revise my whole camera system. We love our spot lights from ITEK. We found ITEK on Facebook and liked their packages offered. We were looking to lighten up our front of the house and we got exactly that. Getting in contact thru Facebook messenger was super easy and the appointment was confirmed within minutes. On the installation day Louis was just fantastic. Arrived on time, explained what he is going to do and went on with his work. A couple hours later he was done. Great workmanship, clean work. Excellent. Our light choice was 5000k (daylight) which can manually turned on or off thru the smart phone app or as we choose a pre-set timing. I was critical in my choice of company's as I install cameras myself "606installs" iTEK had the cameras installed in no time and I was able to keep an eye on my father the same day through the phone app. It's been over a year since the install and I finally made it out to visit my father while I was there I checked the quality of the work and have to say for the price they charged I was really impressed by there work.
