I called this company to re-key and replace locks in a home I purchased. The technician was very nice and did a great job. I even gave him a good review. The house is empty awaiting rehab work. 1 month later, upon my 2nd time using this newly installed top lock, the key would not work. So I called back the company to ask them to fix it. They would not guarantee the work and wanted to charge me a trip charge and another even more expensive lock replacement. Do not hire this company. They have poor support and do not guarantee the quality of their installation! I would give them a zero stars if I could. read more

I gave them two stars only because they were responsive and their prices are reasonable. Unfortunately, after dispatch called to confirm my appointment time and told me the locksmith was in his way and would be to my home "shortly", after 2.5 hours, no one had shown up. My building doesn't allow work after 4:30 pm so I called and was told that I was given a "window". I said, That is true. I was. And then dispatch called and told me the guy was in his way and would be here shortly. The person on the phone then proceeds to tell me that AFTER I got that call, telling me the person would be here SHORTLY, he got delayed at his prior customer's job and then was sent to an emergency lockout. He then said they should have called me and he doesn't know why they didn't and asked to reschedule me. No thanks. I need for someone to actually show up. Very disappointing because the reviews for this business are pretty great. Edit: The problem, which the person who responded completely ignored and didnt take responsibility for, is that their dispatcher said they were ON THE WAY and never called to say they were not. Take responsibility for your poor service rather than becoming defensive and trying to place the blame elsewhere. Nope, will never even consider using this company again based on their lack of accountability. And we will just update this from 2 stars to one to more accurately reflect my experience to date. read more

Don't recommend and will not use again. Needed locks re-keyed and the job was done to standard (though everything is an extra charge here and there). However they arrived ~4:15pm for an 11am-1pm appointment window and it took multiple calls requesting priority to be the next client to even get them to come by 4:15pm. It also took 4 business days and 3 phone calls to get a manager/supervisor on the line to discuss compensation for such a late arrival. My bill/the van that arrived was for "professional locksmith" vs Quick Key Locksmith. The reviews for professional locksmith are lower than Quick Key on Yelp so keep that in mind when choosing your provider. read more
