Jyoti is the best eyebrow threader I've ever been to and I am extremely particular about my eyebrows. She has an eye for what will look best on your face shape and is always consistent. When I moved I was worried about who to trust with shaping my eyebrows and I am so thankful to have found her. She is also extremely well priced; it's not expensive and very affordable. She recently moved to a new location at 2680 south havana street unit K aurora CO 80014. And the hours are mon, wed, fri, and sat. From 10am to 7pm. read more

I went in to get my eyebrows threaded and was greeting by someone in a mask (which was a plus) but she looked rather young. She gestured me into a chair and I tried to tell her what I wanted, "Just shape them a little bit please. A tiny bit more of an arch." but she waved me off as though she already knew what I wanted. She set to work and even though I've gotten my eyebrows threaded over a dozen time this was the LONGEST and most PAINFUL experience I've ever had. I reached a point where I almost asked her to stop because she was ripping out more skin than hair. When she finally held up the mirror I was astonished to find that she had thinned my eyebrows more than I've ever had them and obliterated any arch that may have been there at the beginning. She also made no attempt to brush all of the hairs off my face, so I spent a hot minute in my car brushing tiny hairs off that were everywhere. Thank god it's quarantine because now I'm stuck inside with my measly, ugly, archless eyebrows at home until they grow back. Even after getting home, I'm sitting here with a horrid headache and fuming over how the 90's style of eyebrows that I am now stuck with. I will not be returning to this salon. read more

There were two girls at the salon. The girl who did my eyebrow just started today (she told me at the check out that today was her first day - though she claimed she used to work at another eyebrow threading salon). However I felt that she seems not knowing what she was doing. You can tell when someone was lack of experience/newbie and the way she did my eyebrow was painful like someone plucking your eyebrow with a tweezer one piece of hair at a time. I think she tried to thread but only a little bit of hair got picked up. Threading in general is painful but the painfulness should be quick depending on who did your eyebrow. Those with experiences won't work too long on your eyebrow. They will do it as quick as possible to minimize the pain from threading. Anyways after she 'finished', the other girl looked at her work. She then grabbed another string and started working on my eyebrow. She did say something in her native language to the girl who did my eyebrow previously, maybe she tried to explain the issues with my eyebrow. Overall my eyebrows look great after the other girl fixed it and I'm going to call the other girl the master. The master has slim/skinny body and the other girl who did work on my eyebrow has slightly a bigger body. I wish I knew the master's name. I would say if you don't want to deal with fuss you can request the master to work on your eyebrow. However I also believe that everyone has to start from somewhere. That being said I'm not going to give this place a 2 or 3 star just because I got the inexperience one. I believe everything takes time to learn and I'm sure the first girl who did my eyebrow will get better everyday and we all should give her a chance :) Price wise is very cheap like $9 so please tip your threader like 35% at the minimum. read more

I came here based off the yelp reviews. Coming from NYC I needed someone who's crafted Enough to arch my thick curly brows that are uneven. The lady isn't much of a talker but she is a doer. I came in asking for threading and tints But she advised that I wouldn't need it. Also, she doesn't do tints or eye lash extensions - strictly brows. To my surprise she did an awesome job. I would give it five stars but there are no pictures on the wall to help you decide on what shape you want to arch your brows. It's also a one woman show. I will be back again. read more

Well, I've been here enough times to leave a review. Jyoti is thorough and over a few months, has fixed my mix-match eyebrows. Some times, the process is a little painful, but I've just come to accept that is how it goes with eyebrow hair removal from time to time. I have seen Jyoti many times. The time before this wasn't as good as previously but it wasn't horrible either. This time, she didn't listen at all! I told her, like before, I don't want them thin, just clean them up. What did she do? I have THIN brows that are totally uneven! My right brow is even shorter then my left! When I told her (after she was finished) that I said I DIDN'T want them thin, she said, "sorry . . . you can fill them in". WHAT!? Why don't you just do what the client ask!? Uuugh!! Today was my first time having anyone do my eyebrows since 2008. Usually I would rather pluck them at home because I just don't trust anyone to do my brows the way I like them and so precise. I am a mom now and don't have time to sit at home and pluck them so I tried this place out and absolutely loved it, sooo much better than waxing and Bina shaped my brows just how I wanted them plus it only took under 10 minutes. Decided to give this place a try since I was in the area and had needed to get my eyebrows threaded for a while. I wasn't overly impressed with the place at first glance but it was clean and the young lady at the counter seemed friendly enough. She asked what I wanted done and I told her I just wanted my eyebrows a little cleaned up. She ended up removing a whole lot of eyebrow. I have pretty light colored eyebrows already so I basically look like I have none now. With that being said, it was one of the least painful threading experiences I've had and I'm willing to accept that perhaps the color of my eyebrows made it difficult to judge how much she was taking off. However, when I went to pay the other woman that was there went to the desk and when I handed her my card she asked if I had cash. I was confused but told her that sorry no I didn't. She then informed me that they prefer cash and to remember that for next time. While I don't have a problem with paying in cash, the way she said it was a little insulting. I absolutely understand why a small business would prefer cash to card, but perhaps post a sign at the door or front desk instead of dropping the information on your customers AS they're paying. read more

If you ever stop in for threading only see Jyoti!! She always does an amazing job when threading my eyebrows! Today I was in a rush and had to see Deena, biggest mistake ever! I went in for a basic clean up, and came out with uneven eyebrows. After pointing it out to Deena she advised me that one was thinner than the other. Which clearly wasn't the case, one is about a half an inch shorter. After insisting that she made one side thinner than the other Jyoti came over and advised Deena that my eyebrows are indeed uneven and offered to fix them! Thank goodness for her! Unfortunately I'll be walking around with uneven eyebrows until the grow back in!!! read more

She's the only eyebrow threader I've ever met who asks exactly what you want. She's very attentive to giving advice as to which areas to allow to grow out and shapes brows very well. Threading always causes my eyes to water, but I noticed it hurt less when Jyoti did the threading.
