They typically add 6 pumps of sweetener but I only got two pumps with an extra shot of espresso. Just how I like it and it tasted amazing!! I would have given them 5 stars but one of the owners family member touched my 7 year old daughter's nose with his hands. People don't like their kids being touched by strangers. I had a really disappointing experience at It's a Grind Coffee House. I ordered a caffeinated mocha, but it tasted like it was made with basic filter coffee instead of proper espresso. The flavor was very weak and unpleasant, nothing like a mocha should taste. It completely ruined my breakfast coffee experience. I expected much better quality from a coffee shop. Amaaaazzzzing cafe! Very neat and clean. Workers are so friendly and lovely. Loved the Apple fusion vegan non diary drink. So refreshing. Their scone is one of the bests. If you are in the area, must try. Peaceful and calm vibe. I am not sure how they have 3.8 staring! They deserve 5 . It is close to the Costco I shop in and will be my stop for a treat moving forward. I got a vanilla latte with three pumps. It was perfect - not too sweet. I would like to say I really like how hot temperature wise the latte stayed. I was there for almost two hours and even within one hour the latte stayed a good temperature. I am tired of lukewarm lattes. The staff there are nice. The music can be a bit loud when you're ordering. I did some work there and I saw an outlet near me. The bathroom is not the best but better than nothing. There were no paper towels though. Located next to the Alameda Walmart, this is a great coffee shop with delicious pastries, gelato and beautiful artwork to enjoy when dining in. The brown cow latte, which is a hazelnut latte(hot). I've been coming here for over 3 years and have always loved this place. I know the staff well and it's been one of my go-to spots. I usually order the same thing, but today I decided to try the avocado toast. Honestly... what kind of avocado toast was that? The middle was completely soggy and brown, and the edges were stiff and stale. It didn't smell fresh or look fresh at all. I got my food at 8:21 AM and went straight to my car. The moment I opened it, I came right back inside. I wasn't rude or demanding. I stayed calm and just wanted to bring it to their attention. I didn't even ask for a refund or remake. The response I got was disappointing. The employee told me, "We don't offer refunds or exchanges," even after seeing the condition of the food. She also claimed she had just made it, but I watched it come out of a pre-made container from the fridge.... What made it worse was the attitude. She became defensive and hostile right away, pointing at a sign immediately "saying read the no refund!" like I was trying to start a problem which I wasn't. She took the uneaten food back and still said there was nothing she could do. As someone with years of food & management experience, this was honestly unfortunate to witness with a place you have been coming to for years ..... chile It's not just about the food it's about how situations like this are handled which led to me NOT longer being a customer... came here for gelato, and had the SMALLEST scoop of gelato that i've ever seen at any establishment! asked for small, which is advertised as 4oz, which should've been ~1/2 cup size. what we received was barely 1/4 cup. for 2 smalls, paid about $9.50 i guess the plus side is that i shouldn't be eating too much dessert anyway :) was also odd that for our different gelato orders, didn't bother using a different scoop, or rinsing the scoop other food items looked pretty good though, so maybe will try it when shopping this area again. but i don't recommend this place for gelato. read more

I ordered a White Chocolate Candy Cane blended mocha. Good stuff. I bought a slice of pumpkin cheesecake loaf. High quality ingredients obviously went into it. Tasty and moist. The baked goods looked quite delectable inside the glass case. They were sizable too and fresh. I was pleased with the customer service. The young man named Justin was cordial and demonstrative. I was pleased with the experience overall. Price points are not low, but going in for a sweet treat and espresso a few times a month is alright, and justifiable. read more

I had to charge my car at the nearby charging station so I had some time to kill. I came into this restaurant with no one in line in front of me. I put in my order on the kiosk, just a drip coffee with a splash of almond milk and a sandwich from behind the glass. That shouldn't take too long right? Especially with 4 people behind the counter working. Well, I bet you can guess where this is going... I realized by now my car should finish charging so I walk back to my car on the other end of the parking lot and drive my car back and park up front. A total of 20 minutes of waiting and I still didn't have my sandwich or my drink. I asked what the hold up was and they looked confused. I left without waiting for my sandwich. If it took 15 minutes to produce a single cup of drip coffee I don't even want to know how much longer I would have waited for the sandwich. Also, the coffee was burnt to hell. read more

Okay okay so I been wanting to come here for a bit. I have met my hero and was met with great disappointment. The service was not too friendly and the drinks seemed to take a bit longer than anticipated. My latte tasted burnt and sour which if you know than you know that means the shot sat to long and went sour. The cafe itself self is a huge place that is kept clean. I popped into this place in the Davis Street Walmart parking lot on a Sunday around 5pm. Facilities were clean and neat, and on the wall there were for-sale paintings by a local artist. Always nice to see a business supporting local artists. Seating was plentiful. I was the only one inside, though two people sat at outdoor tables. The young Indian (?) man behind the counter was pleasant and polite. I am on a low sugar diet and asked for info on low sugar iced coffee drink choices. Many cafés have only one flavor of sugar-free syrup, but this place had a pretty decent selection. I settled on a sugar-free white chocolate iced coffee, which was good. I also noted the wide variety of healthy food options on the menu, and the fact that breakfast items are served all day! I ordered a vegetarian breakfast wrap with eggs, cheese, hash browns bits, mushrooms and salsa, and it was huge, and SO good! I sat down at the long table (good for studying) and began to eat. While I was doing so, the man behind the counter began to pull down the outer gate. I asked if he was closing, and he said yes, but said I should please take my time. The sandwiches are listed at a certain price, but what they don't tell you is that everything is sold separately -- including basic items you'd reasonably expect to be included, like sides or even toppings in some cases. When I placed my order, I was surprised to find that what I thought was a full sandwich meal was just the bread and meat -- no sides, no extras. Want lettuce or cheese? That's extra. The final bill ended up being significantly higher than what the menu led me to believe. This kind of pricing feels misleading and borderline dishonest. If everything is à la carte, that should be made very clear on the menu. As it stands, it just comes across as a way to nickel-and-dime customers. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. read more

In my experience .The owners are so welcoming and kind. The triple chocolate mocha frappe I had was very indulgent and creamy at a really reasonable price . As a person with allergies, they are also very understanding and will get any information you need to feel safe with what you wanna eat . I haven't had the pleasure of visiting in a while but Anjleen still remembered me and treats me like family (asks about my family too!). She is so kind and gives thoughtful customer service, and the cafe is a place I enjoy spending time. The music is relaxing, ambiance is always changing with vibrant art, humorous mugs/gifts, and delicious food and coffee every time! I'll post some new photos because wow this salmon breakfast sandwich is HUGE just like my delicious 24oz iced oat milk latte! I'm looking forward to trying some new holiday items next time I come.
