cherry blossom and the sakura seasonal drinks.
    Lily G.

We got the cherry blossom and sakura seasonal drinks and they are delicious! Especially the sakura with oatmilk was our favorite and if you're into sweet drinks it's a must! The workers there are so sweet and made our day! We will definitely be back!

    Delish!!

Amaaaazzzzing cafe! Very neat and clean. Workers are so friendly and lovely. Loved the Apple fusion vegan non diary drink. So refreshing. Their scone is one of the bests. If you are in the area, must try. Peaceful and calm vibe. I am not sure how they have 3.8 staring! They deserve 5 . It is close to the Costco I shop in and will be my stop for a treat moving forward. My kid loved their smoked salmon sandwich. Oh and last hugs not least, their prices are really good.

    Vanilla latte
    Jenny H.

I got a vanilla latte with three pumps. It was perfect - not too sweet. I would like to say I really like how hot temperature wise the latte stayed. I was there for almost two hours and even within one hour the latte stayed a good temperature. I am tired of lukewarm lattes. The staff there are nice. The music can be a bit loud when you're ordering. I did some work there and I saw an outlet near me. The bathroom is not the best but better than nothing. There were no paper towels though. I'd come back. :)

This is the morning bacon burrito and the Speculoos Oat Milk shaken espresso.. which the nice lady recommended.

The people here are always super nice. The food is great and so is the coffee.. they have the ice I like, lol.The shop it self has a cool vibe and looks nice inside. Theres is a lot of variety if food, pastries and drinks.Come check them out!

Two chunky monkey's and one coconut crunch are a delicious and homemade, almond milk is made in-house! I'll definitely be back!
    Mari M.

Chunky monkey was delicious, they add peanut butter & banana with coffee. J would add an extra shot next time. The almond milk was made in house, which was a bonus. We will definitely be back

I've been coming here for over 3 years and have always loved this place. I know the staff well and it's been one of my go-to spots. I usually order the same thing, but today I decided to try the avocado toast. Honestly... what kind of avocado toast was that? The middle was completely soggy and brown, and the edges were stiff and stale. It didn't smell fresh or look fresh at all. I got my food at 8:21 AM and went straight to my car. The moment I opened it, I came right back inside. I wasn't rude or demanding. I stayed calm and just wanted to bring it to their attention. I didn't even ask for a refund or remake. The response I got was disappointing. The employee told me, "We don't offer refunds or exchanges," even after seeing the condition of the food. She also claimed she had just made it, but I watched it come out of a pre-made container from the fridge.... What made it worse was the attitude. She became defensive and hostile right away, pointing at a sign immediately "saying read the no refund!" like I was trying to start a problem which I wasn't. She took the uneaten food back and still said there was nothing she could do. As someone with years of food & management experience, this was honestly unfortunate to witness with a place you have been coming to for years ..... chile It's not just about the food it's about how situations like this are handled which led to me NOT longer being a customer... Really disappointed.

    Ice matcha

This is not matcha this is water for 5 dollars That's why this place it's empty we don't ask for quantity we need quality spend your money somewhere else people this is very disappointing

    Brown cow latte
    Richard H.

Located next to the Alameda Walmart, this is a great coffee shop with delicious pastries, gelato and beautiful artwork to enjoy when dining in. The brown cow latte, which is a hazelnut latte(hot). We also enjoyed an iced mocha latte, which was also delicious. I will be sure to enjoy their delicious gelato on my next trip.

    Artsy cup to buy too
    Jim L.

Great selection, coffee, bagels, breakfast fare, ice cream? Art on the wall and jazzy music, Two workers, so slow if there is a line, but most people would cheap it at the McD in the walmart nearby, so you can fufu here without too much wait. Huge parking lot, and about 20 seats inside, 6 chairs outside, so over 10 areas to sit, so great place to chill. Not sure about wifi, but i can get att free wifi here. So, if in neighborhood, will comeback

"4oz" scoop gelato, prob at BEST 1/4 cup when it should've been 1/2 cup
    Debbie F.

came here for gelato, and had the SMALLEST scoop of gelato that i've ever seen at any establishment! asked for small, which is advertised as 4oz, which should've been ~1/2 cup size. what we received was barely 1/4 cup. for 2 smalls, paid about $9.50 i guess the plus side is that i shouldn't be eating too much dessert anyway :) was also odd that for our different gelato orders, didn't bother using a different scoop, or rinsing the scoop other food items looked pretty good though, so maybe will try it when shopping this area again. but i don't recommend this place for gelato.

Great service and Chia lattes. They always treat me outstanding and place a smile on my early morning commute

    Fernando H.

Amazing coffee for your early morning boost. Great folk behind the grind.you're looking for an amazing coffee to kickstart your day, this is the spot. Their beans are clearly sourced and roasted with real care--every cup tastes fresh and balanced.

Fluffy and hot breakfast biscuit sandwich
    Donna G.

Our first there, lots of different food menu options. With a good variety for vegetarians. Coffee is good, the make their oatmilk from scratch. The owners are very nice and friendly about ordering. We enjoyed the art on their walls too. It's located in a very big and busy shopping area.

White Chocolate Candy Cane iced blended mocha. Thick and creamy.

I like to look for new spins on lattes to see what barista's are whipping up to make things unique. I came in thinking I was going to get a basic latte, but the Borgia Mocha caught my eye! I asked the cashier if it was a good choice and she recommended it. I was a little unsure how the two would blend and how much orange they would use in it, but it came out amazing! Honestly probably one of the top 10 unique mocha's I have tried and it was delicious! I loved the burst of refreshing orange that complimented the chocolate. The flavors danced on my tastebuds like two separate flavors that blended together as one. Each holding their own note that added value to the drink making it unique. I was instantly impressed and wish I found this on more menus! A classic mocha with a refreshing twist of orange was a pleasant surprise! I'm so glad I stopped in for a pick me up! I also loved all the art on the large walls and there looked to be plenty of tables and seating for people to eat and work at.

Was meeting up with a friend from Berkeley and he found this spot in between the both of us. Pros and cons! + The coffee - holy shit. Got a cortado. And drank it without sugar it was so good. A touch of bitter (it's coffee - duh!) but so smooth, almost nutty but buttery at the same time. + Got a chicken salad sandwich. It came stacked HIGH with hints of sweetness and curry. Freshest produce. Honestly, I was hungry but could only eat half of it, it was so big. + Friend got a warmed cinnamon bun. Incredible. Yeasty, chewy almost crisp on the outside but pillowy soft on the inside. + Wide open space inside -- high ceilings, one big central area. Not tucked away spaces -- which might or might not match your preference. + Perfect amount of coffeehouse buzz. Music playing lowish in the background and lots of conversations. Just enough to quell my ADHD tendencies. * Honestly can't think of any negatives. Prices are a bit high but happy to pay it for such a quality experience. I think my cortado was decently priced -- maybe $6 or so? Sandwich was $18 or so but done really well and came with a bowl of soup (chips, fruit, and something else was an option instead of soup, but tomato bisque with a sandwich? Divine.) - An hour away from where I live but if you live anywhere East Bay, my curse is your blessing ;-)

Parking is a little weird and very limited but luckily for us, we found a spot on the side of the building. There were two young ladies working the store and the menu is basically posted everywhere. My daughter and I immediately gravitated to the banana matcha latte. We also saw they had yummy croissant pastries available, so we decided to give that a try. What we got: 1. 2 banana matcha lattes- 4/10 the matcha was okay but we tasted no banana to it besides the slices of banana. The pudding tasted like regular vanilla. Overall just not what we were anticipating. 2. Brown sugar boba milk? - 0/10 This was just milk with a bit of brown sugar syrup. (See pic) I actually dropped this off to my other daughter and she said she just couldn't drink it. 3. Strawberry croissant- 8/10 This was actually good. The strawberries with the jam and whipped cream were very good. Don't get me wrong, service was fine. They also had a few great items but the actual drinks were mid. I think the matcha needs to change or maybe making it more paste like could help boost the flavor. The brown sugar latte was just not it.

I got a "spend $6, get $3 off" promo in my app since it had been a while, and it lured me right through the door. My goal was to stay as close to that $6 mark as possible to practically get a freebie. I originally ordered a large drink and a pastry, but when the total hit $12, I had the barista knock the drink down to a medium to save a few bucks. After the discount, I walked out spending $8. Sneaky marketing--they got me to spend money I hadn't planned on! For my order, I tried the Iced Lavender Vanilla Matcha. Unfortunately, it wasn't my favorite and didn't quite hit the spot, so I only drank about half of it. I also grabbed a Lemon Blueberry Danish. Now, I have a personal rule about "open-air" pastry cases--if food is sitting out all day, it's an open invitation for gnats or flies to dance all over it! Usually, I prefer when they pull a fresh one from the back wrap counter. When I noticed the barista pull mine straight from the display, I asked her about it. She was sweet and assured me everything was fresh and they didn't have a gnat problem right now, so I decided to take a chance since she was warming it up. Sadly, the danish wasn't very delicious either, and I only ate a few bites. Even though the food and drink were a miss for me today, I still love coming into this Peet's. The atmosphere is always so incredibly calm and peaceful, and the baristas are always so friendly, upbeat, and polite. I'll definitely be back for my usuals, but I'll probably pass on the lavender and the display case next time!

It gives off such a welcoming, community-centered vibe -- like they genuinely want people to come in, enjoy good food and drinks, hang out, relax, and just have a good time. I was indecisive while ordering because there's just too many goodies to choose from and IK that can be annoying, but we had great service because the guy that took our order was patient and seen that my struggles was most definitely real . We ordered mozzarella sticks, popcorn chicken, curly fries, and two large Thai teas -- one with green apple jelly topping, which paired sooo well to me hehe. We don't eat out much because we cook at home nowadays, so when we do, we wanna enjoy the classics lol. It's actually really cool seeing how the place has evolved over the years. The very first time we came, the back area looked like this cute little library/study hall/tutoring/game/hangout room. Then a couple years into the COVID days, it turned into a unique snack and gift shop vibe. Now it's this awesome mini arcade/lounge setup with comfy seating, sports on TV, and really great food (savory & sweets) and drinks. And the food is SOLID. Even on my last mozzarella stick, I still had a cheese pull -- and it had already been at least like 20-30 minutes. That says a lot on the quality. What also makes this place stand out is the little acts of kindness. Part of their service is while we were already getting busy, grubbing, they randomly offered us a complimentary yummy, soft, and fluffy eggette on a stick with their condensed milk sauce, which gave me that feeling like how a love one would just randomly give something very sweet just because. I don't go out much anymore, but if I'm craving for some outside sweets and treats oh and almost forgot to mention how pretty affordable for the quality and portions we got for our meal, I'm def bringing my nieces n nephews here when they visit! I love the different chairs, décor, games, ambiance, food, and drinks! They keep everything so clean, neat, and organized at the station from where you sanitize your hands, grab your napkins, straws and condiments-- it genuinely feels like there's something here for everyone. You HAVE to find at least one thing you'll enjoy here!
