Nice little shop inside! Tried the iced chai latte and iced matcha and both were great! Great ambiance inside with a little back sitting area

I visited this coffee shop today, and while most of the staff was friendly and welcoming, the cashier made the experience really unpleasant. She seemed annoyed from the moment I approached the counter--no greeting, no smile, and very short, dismissive responses to simple questions. It felt like I was bothering her just by placing an order. The rest of the crew was great and handled their jobs well, but the attitude at the register really set a negative tone. A cashier is the first point of contact for customers, and professionalism matters. I hope management addresses this, because this shop has potential--but the customer service at the register needs serious improvement.

I recently visited Sabino's Coffee Shop, and it quickly became my favorite spot! The coffee is exceptional--each cup is rich and perfectly brewed. I especially loved their Matcha Latte and Americano. The customer service is outstanding; the baristas are friendly and genuinely care about your experience. The cozy ambiance makes it a perfect place to relax or work. Big difference coming to this family owned coffee shop vs. a corporate chain coffee shop. Thank you Sabinos - officially my favorite coffee shop!

My fav coffee spot ever! Everyone is so nice and they are seating outside and inside. The menu has a wide array of selection which also makes it really kid friendly. I really enjoy the updated summer menu and summer hours! Drinks are made really fast within 5 minutes!

Was greeted immediately as soon as we walked in . I knew I was there to try the Vietnamese coffee and it did not disappoint!!! It was so flavorful and I asked for less sweet . The place was so cozy . I can't wait to come back to the their sandwiches !

This was my first time here and I spent all of my time outside with The Princess (our Shiba Inu). My wife went in and got us each a drink and a pastry. We had walked The Princess for about 45 minutes and we were hungry! I asked for an Iced Vietnamese Coffee. Different places make the same drinks in different ways. On this occasion, I could feel the heat coming from the plastic cup. It told me that the coffee was made the traditional way and then poured over the ice. That of course will eventually down the coffee but then it's very diluted from the melted ice. I also found my drink to be extremely sweet. Condensed milk is the cause of this and next time, I'll know to ask for 1/2 the regular amount. I don't remember what my pastry was called. There's a picture of it below. I believe that it had some kind of berry filling, probably raspberry? It was okay but I wouldn't order it again. Usually I get either a Butter or Almond Croissant. My wife did get a Butter Croissant and was not impressed by it, though I can't remember why. Nor can I remember what she got to drink. All I do know is that it came in a white paper cup with a black plastic lid. Service was friendly and efficient. Dogs are welcome. There's a patio area past the entrance. We stayed in front of the business.

I been trying a lot of coffee shops lately and this is probably in the top 5 and because it's never a bad day coffee is constantly good every time and I love that and most importantly nice friendly staff

Another first time visit and I noticed they got few selections of non meat breakfast sandwiches. We ventured and nice staff our order was given on a timely manner. Our sandwiches were pre made and they either heated them up on a toaster oven so it came in hot. Ambiance is very eclectic vibe came in with some firefighters waiting for their drinks, few people sitting on a very causal atmosphere.

Ham Quiche. $5.50 for this itty bitty piece!
    Alex M.

The people were nice but the quiche I got was cold and when I asked if they could rewarm they did but it was still too cold to eat and I gave up. It was also a very high price for the amount of quiche. It was $5.50 because I added ham which was just shredded on top. Very weird. The vanilla latte I got was adequate but far too sweet. The owner/manager seemed on top of it but the other employees seemed lost though nice. It is a small interior and the dark colors make it seem even smaller. The outdoor patio looked nicer but i had already set up inside. Prob will not go back.

I like to look for new spins on lattes to see what barista's are whipping up to make things unique. I came in thinking I was going to get a basic latte, but the Borgia Mocha caught my eye! I asked the cashier if it was a good choice and she recommended it. I was a little unsure how the two would blend and how much orange they would use in it, but it came out amazing! Honestly probably one of the top 10 unique mocha's I have tried and it was delicious! I loved the burst of refreshing orange that complimented the chocolate. The flavors danced on my tastebuds like two separate flavors that blended together as one. Each holding their own note that added value to the drink making it unique. I was instantly impressed and wish I found this on more menus! A classic mocha with a refreshing twist of orange was a pleasant surprise! I'm so glad I stopped in for a pick me up! I also loved all the art on the large walls and there looked to be plenty of tables and seating for people to eat and work at.

Was meeting up with a friend from Berkeley and he found this spot in between the both of us. Pros and cons! + The coffee - holy shit. Got a cortado. And drank it without sugar it was so good. A touch of bitter (it's coffee - duh!) but so smooth, almost nutty but buttery at the same time. + Got a chicken salad sandwich. It came stacked HIGH with hints of sweetness and curry. Freshest produce. Honestly, I was hungry but could only eat half of it, it was so big. + Friend got a warmed cinnamon bun. Incredible. Yeasty, chewy almost crisp on the outside but pillowy soft on the inside. + Wide open space inside -- high ceilings, one big central area. Not tucked away spaces -- which might or might not match your preference. + Perfect amount of coffeehouse buzz. Music playing lowish in the background and lots of conversations. Just enough to quell my ADHD tendencies. * Honestly can't think of any negatives. Prices are a bit high but happy to pay it for such a quality experience. I think my cortado was decently priced -- maybe $6 or so? Sandwich was $18 or so but done really well and came with a bowl of soup (chips, fruit, and something else was an option instead of soup, but tomato bisque with a sandwich? Divine.) - An hour away from where I live but if you live anywhere East Bay, my curse is your blessing ;-)

(It was worth the 13 mile drive for me.) With floor to ceiling windows welcoming in the comfort of daylight and warmth of Californian sunshine (thank you A/C), this cafe sits high above Castro Valley overlooking the distant hills and the bay, depending on where you sit. It's in the front space of a church and upon walking in (my third visit), I feel held by the Lord. Strangely, I'm feeling tears well up because this is the exact sort of space I've been needing as I go through some challenging life circumstances. It is peaceful here but it also has a vibrant community energy on a Thursday late morning. This space is welcoming to all of the bay are community and if you didn't know it was a church, you would never know. It's for the whole neighborhood and beyond. There are tall round tables, bar tables, normal round tables, armchairs at tables, long barnhouse style tables. This space was thoughtfully curated to allow for relationships to be grown, work to be done, and quiet time to be experienced. The Americano I had is nice and strong (whoowee... I'm awake now!). They had interesting drink options and some baked goods. Prices were average for the Bay Area. I love that the cafe supports community outreach. From the web, it partners with this church and community programs. It seems to operate around community support and social impact initiatives. I love that they actively support Inclusion & Autism awareness and medical debt relief (WOW!). This is a cafe that is doing it right!

I got a "spend $6, get $3 off" promo in my app since it had been a while, and it lured me right through the door. My goal was to stay as close to that $6 mark as possible to practically get a freebie. I originally ordered a large drink and a pastry, but when the total hit $12, I had the barista knock the drink down to a medium to save a few bucks. After the discount, I walked out spending $8. Sneaky marketing--they got me to spend money I hadn't planned on! For my order, I tried the Iced Lavender Vanilla Matcha. Unfortunately, it wasn't my favorite and didn't quite hit the spot, so I only drank about half of it. I also grabbed a Lemon Blueberry Danish. Now, I have a personal rule about "open-air" pastry cases--if food is sitting out all day, it's an open invitation for gnats or flies to dance all over it! Usually, I prefer when they pull a fresh one from the back wrap counter. When I noticed the barista pull mine straight from the display, I asked her about it. She was sweet and assured me everything was fresh and they didn't have a gnat problem right now, so I decided to take a chance since she was warming it up. Sadly, the danish wasn't very delicious either, and I only ate a few bites. Even though the food and drink were a miss for me today, I still love coming into this Peet's. The atmosphere is always so incredibly calm and peaceful, and the baristas are always so friendly, upbeat, and polite.
