Saw a new dragon fruit hibiscus drink and just had to give it a try! Did not disappoint at all it was delicious! Not too sweet like some drinks can often be and does not have the bitterness that iced teas can have either. Service was quick and easy as always . Came to this location tonight around 8:30, if this wouldve been 2-3 weeks ago when i came, definitely would have given 1 star. (2-3 weeks ago they were staffed with at least 6 people plus the owner/manager, and it took 45mins before i got my 1 drink, yes busy but 45mins is excessive) Tonight, we had a completely empty "It's Boba Time" in Hawthorne, CA. Staff was nicer this time around, they actually smiled and greeted and thanked myself and another customer. The wait was 5-10mins. A young child was waiting for his order before i walked in, but we got our orders at the same time. So definitely 5-10mins wait in an empty store. I ordered a Large Thai Tea with coffee Jelly. I asked for light coffee jelly and extra sweetener, which i don't think i got either of my request because it wasn't sweet and i finished the drink with a ton of jelly still in my cup(and yes it was .75 cent for each). But hey, i drank it either way. The shop is a pretty normal vibe. Just no seats nor tables. It's suppose to be an order, grab & go, I'm assuming. But on earlier days, you can presume that the day will be busier and wait will be longer, and it wont be "grab & go" situation. All & all, i came back because i noticed it was empty hoping for a better experience. Customer service got a little better than the last time, but the drink was a 5 out of 10 again.
