We haven't been here in a while decided to come here for breakfast. We tried for the first time the bacon fried rice breakfast burrito. It is huge. It filled both of us up with leftovers you need at least three people to eat this burrito Services great ambience is like local Hawaiian style. I love it. You must come here they even have fresh Malasadas cooked to order none of this where it's in the case at a bakery they get the dough they fry it up even put fillings in there like guava passionfruit coconut Dobosh, which is chocolate and Ube. They also have the sprinkling on top, sugar, li hing, cinnamon, Matcha, and coffee. Service is fantastic!!!! They also have shave ice. Breakfast is served all day long. They have plate lunch, poke, Kalua pork and cabbage, and more!

Meat jun was even better today! I like that they slice it up. The meat was so tender and the vinegar sauce was perfect! I like the little serving of Kim Chee. I don't remember that last time

Prior to Easter Sunday, I've only had their take out and my dine in experience was positive! The minute we stepped in, we were welcomed in by Junko and Scott helped us with our order. We had their Garlic Shrimp and Teri Beef which were both delicious! They are generous with their two scoops of white rice and tasty mac salad. The shrimp had a good crunch! The beef was tender! We also ordered a half a dozen of their sugar malasadas. Scott helped us out with timing our order so everything was fresh! There was plenty of free parking available. The place is spacious, good for groups! When we miss Hawaii, we know where to get our fill!

Omg finally a place with Hawaiian pancakes! I've literally been craving these since my trip to Maui. We got the macadamia coconut pancakes, the ube pancakes, and the haupia malasadas. All were amazing and so happy we don't have to drive out of the South Bay for some pancakes.

The Kalua Pie BBQ Pork is absolutely delicious! I love the combination of red onion, cilantro, and mango, it pairs perfectly with the pork and had me in a food coma as soon as I got home. My husband and I also shared the Fish Jun Grilled Mahi with a thin egg batter. The fish was slightly dry, and I think a bit more egg batter might have helped. I still haven't found a place in LA that does fish or meat jun as well as in Hawaii. That said, the pizza here is definitely the star, you don't want to miss it. I'm excited to come back and try their breakfast items, and when the weather warms up, I'm definitely getting their shaved ice!

Came here for lunch on a Sunday. Was craving Hawaiian food and some malasadas. This place definitely hit the spot. We ordered the garlic shrimp plate, the teri beef plate and a half dozen regular sugar malasadas. Everything was fire. The staff was super friendly, welcoming with big side of aloha. The ambiance felt like a big family get together with uncles playing live Hawaiian music. They also had a few big screen TVs showing the dodger game which was definitely a bonus. I for sure will be craving this place and will be coming back to Gardena real soon. Aloha!

Great place! That a lot of people don't know about, the local fans and family. This is how we come to find out about it. It is very Hawaiin meaning Aloha and Hana. They have pretty much everything that you can get in Oahu, all the favs. Plus they have pizza that we definitely want to try next time. All the ingredients are island based with their specialties. Great desserts too! We love the atmosphere and friendly service. They do have indoor and outdoor dining. Although it gets cold out doors at night. Enjoy! Tip: they do close early at nights I think at 8:30 sharp. So get there with plenty of time to enjoy.

Came here for shave ice. I ordered the Blue Hawaiian and added condensed milk and fresh strawberries to it. The wife ordered the Hawaiian Punch with mangos added to it. At the recommendation of the worker there, we also ordered a couple of plain malassadas. I loved my Blue Hawaiian shave ice. The ice was pleasantly smooth like I was eating a nice bowl of bing su. I tasted my wife's shave ice and liked it as well. The malassadas, however, were just okay. They were warm and freshly made, but they tasted to me like dinner rolls dusted with sugar. Nothing to get hyped about. That being said, I'm coming back here for the shave ice for sure. It's as good as I've had outside of Hawaii.

Welcoming staff as soon as you walk in. Came in for shaved ice which was great, but also left with two spam musubi, and four fresh malsadas. Will be back!

Aloha place is a must have for your pizza needs. They have some of the best pizza in Gardena. Not to mention they also have shaved ice for those super hot southern california days! Located on Artesia it has a decent sized indoor eating space as well as a small outdoor space. Everyone here was super friendly! Not only do they have pizza and shaved ice, but they also have a lot of hawaiian snacks you gotta try and plus they also offer beer too (which was a super plus plus for me *wink wink*). We opted for the not so hawaiian pizza, but their bbq chicken is also a must try! TL;DR: Good pizza, awesome shaved ice and super cold beer, very good.

    Kamehameha
    Nick S.

We tried Aloha Pizza & Shave Ice Company for the first time and ordered two medium pizzas -- the Kamehameha and the Sriracha Chicken -- which was more than enough food for four people. The pizzas were solid overall. The crust had good structure and flavor, not too thick or thin, and held up well while eating. The Kamehameha was a loaded combo-style option with plenty of veggies, and the Sriracha Chicken had good balance without being overly spicy. Both are easy to customize depending on your preferences (like removing olives or cilantro). We ordered to-go, and the online ordering process was quick and straightforward. Service was friendly and everything was ready on time. Inside, the atmosphere felt like a casual neighborhood pizza spot -- TVs playing the game and groups enjoying food and cheering on their teams. Nothing necessarily stood out as exceptional, but everything was consistently good, making it a dependable option if you're in the area and in the mood for pizza. Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5

Upon arrival it was loud as they had live music! If you are into that this is your place on Sundays ( don't quote me) there wasn't any space inside to eat our shaved ice so we ordered it to go. It took a few mins to be helped as everyone was busy. The person taking the order was a bit of to the point not so friendly. The shaved ice on a sunny Sunday was right on time.

I came in a few minutes after the restaurant opened and placed my order for a thin crust, pepperoni, and pineapple (don't judge) medium pizza and a large Thai iced tea. I love this drink and typically assume it's just going to be sweeter than I like but this one was balanced so well, just sweet enough for me. My pizza was ready in about 25 minutes and WOW! This is the thin crust of my dreams. Not too thin that it folds under the weight of the ingredients or gets super soggy and a crunchy crust! I've eaten fettuccine Alfredo at Italian restaurants all over, and I can say without hesitation that Lomeli's makes the best I've ever had. It's my go‑to dish everywhere I go, and nothing compares to the rich, creamy perfection they serve here. My wife ordered the spinach zucchini, and she absolutely loved it. Fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right--she couldn't stop talking about it. The service deserves its own spotlight. Nancy and Adam were outstanding--warm, attentive, and genuinely kind people who make you feel like family the moment you sit down. Restaurants can teach technique, but they can't teach heart, and Lomeli's has it in abundance. And then there's the ambience. If you enjoy the timeless voices of Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra, and Nat King Cole, you're in for a treat. Their music fills the room and creates the perfect backdrop for an Italian meal. It's cozy, nostalgic, and effortlessly charming--exactly the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to linger a little longer. In short: Lomeli's is everything you want in a neighborhood Italian restaurant and more. Incredible food, wonderful people, and an ambience that feels like a warm embrace. You will not regret giving this place a try. Sorry, I couldn't wait to take a picture of the food. I ate it before I remembered that I needed to take a picture. It was so good.

Looking around area, a desolate industrial wasteland emerged. I thought to myself, "Am I in the right place? Where could there possibly be a restaurant? Did I send my friend the wrong address?" However as I continued down Grand I finally caught a glimpse of a sign that indicated additional parking in the rear. A spacious area with a family friendly industrial tones with plenty of seating, a friendly staff that ushered me in and seamlessly guided me to my friend's table, and quaint bakery and grocery area to boot. The food was delicious, upon a cursory review of Yelp I went with the Gnocchi with pesto. My friend had chicken Scaloppina. Portions and price point were great. The place is small so if you want to do a walk in be prepared to wait, but the wait is honestly so random. One time I got in 25 minutes later and next time 45 minutes. First time, I got takeout and was honestly disappointed. The pizza got cold during the 12 minute walk back to my apartment and it just didn't hit the same because it wasn't fresh. Second time, we did a walk-in on a Sunday and somehow got really lucky. Waited about 20 minutes at a nearby coffee shop because of cancellations. We got the Margherita special and Ruti's pizza, and both were out of this world. Especially the Margherita special... this is hands down my favorite pizza i've tried in LA. I tend to gravitate toward classic flavors and they did everything right with this one. The crust alone... probably the best Neapolitan dough I've had in my life. It's pillowy, soft, slightly chewy, and just has that perfect structure. Only thing to note is their pizzas are VERY floppy. Like... really floppy. So if that's not your thing, you might not love it as much. Ruti's pizza is a white base with soppressata, fresh arugula, and hot honey. The sweet and spicy combo worked really well, super balanced and not overwhelming. We also got the tricolor salad which was a great starter. Very fresh, bright, and tangy from the lemon dressing. It cuts through the heaviness of the pizza perfectly. Third time, we did another walk-in on a Saturday around 2:30 PM and got seated within 30 minutes. At this point I'm convinced I just have good luck with the wait times!! We ordered the mala lamb sausage, diavola, bianca, and tiramisu. My favorite this time was the bianca. It was lighter and acted as a really nice palate cleanser between the heavier pizzas. You can actually taste the lemon in it, which surprisingly I loved on pizza. Only thing is you have to eat it fast because once it cools down, the cheese solidifies pretty quickly. The mala lamb sausage is definitely a crowd favorite, but not my personal favorite.... It leans heavier and the lamb flavor comes through pretty strong. If you like bold flavors you'll probably love it, but I personally prefer something more classic and clean like the margherita or the bianca. The diavola was solid. The soppressata brought the right amount of spice and everything felt really balanced. And the tiramisu... I will always get this if I have room for dessert. It's a good portion size!! The three of us shared it after already eating three pizzas (and still had 3 slices leftover) and we were completely stuffed. I would come back again for the Margherita special and the tiramisu alone.

I had heard great…read morethings from reviews and even had family member recommend their pizza, so we finally decided to give it a shot. For our first visit, my daughter suggested the Tandoori Tikka Pizza (Tandoori Chicken). We also ordered the Halal Chicken Wings, Garlic Naan, and a small salad. Right away, the smell when you walk in is incredible, and the staff greets you immediately, which made a great first impression. Now for the food -- the pizza was delicious with the perfect amount of toppings. The sweet and tangy BBQ sauce really brought everything together. I personally would've liked a little more cheese, but the crust was cooked perfectly with a nice chewy texture. The wings were another standout that both my wife and I really enjoyed. Slightly crispy on the outside while still delicate and moist inside, with a mild heat from the spices that wasn't overpowering. The naan was decent with a good garlic flavor, although it was a bit thin for my preference. The salad was fresh and delicious -- we always appreciate having plenty of vegetables with our meals. Overall, definitely recommend checking them out. Next time we're planning to try the Butter Chicken Pizza.
