I went 2 days in a row because I had a raspado craving suddenly at 4 months pregnant, and we walked in and the lady was like " que quieren ordenar " not even a hello , hi, buenas tardes nothing and it was the slowest service ever. More than 20 mins. My husband got a mangoneada and it was literally all water. The windows are also super dirty and the location is starting to look dirty not very well taken care of. When you walk into this place, you'll notice on the door it says, "Yelp reviewers love us". Well that is false. First of all the menu is a mess. The items that are suppose to be cold are left open. What made me give this place a 1 star was a woman who took my order was placing fruit in a cup and answering rude. She charged me and I step into my car. Thanks to Craig R. for leading me to Yogi's. The killer sweet tooth kicked into overdrive this evening, so of course I leaned on Yelp to lead me to the promise land. I was a bit Leary when Beat Box Betty (my navigation) stated I was "arriving at 12925 Hawthorne on right". I took one look at the Yog's sign and surroundings and sped off. I just knew I was in the wrong neighborhood and this was not the Yogi's I read about on Yelp. Another quick look on Yelp confirmed that I was in the right place. I'm so glad I busted a u to give this place a chance. I have NEVER had yogurt this good. it's absolutely amazing! I ordered the Quebrado, a pre-mixed yogurt with bananas, strawberry, apples and walnuts. I had it mixed with the bluberry, blackberry pre-mixed yogurt. For my two free toppings I added pecans and granola...OMG!!! I ordered what they consider a medium, but would definitely be a large most other places. I cashed out at about $5.50. What a great deal. The only downfall was that I wish I would have ordered the large b/c when it was gone I wished I had more. The stuff is that addicting. Yes the service can be slow but hey when it's only one lady behind the counter what do you expect? You shaddup and wait your turn. Her English is limited but she has a pretty sweet demeanor and tries her best to understand your bad Spanish. I was lucky to encounter another customer who was willing to break it down for me a bit being that I wasn't familiar. The yogurt mixed with all that fruit was amazing. With the inability to eat dairy, I asked if there were non-dairy options and I was told that any juice can be made with an orange juice or pineapple juice base... and so I ordered the tropical blend with coconut cream, and with 50-50 OJ and Pineapple juice blend.
