Nick is top notch, folks. If you're in doubt, lean towards hiring him. It's such a soothing and freeing feeling to hand your wedding over to someone and go, "here, make it fun" without worrying if it will be. Nick is 100% trustworthy to make your party a memorable one! He communicated clearly with my husband and I about our day, and made sure we had all the perfect songs and selections picked out. He stated true to our must play list, and definitely stayed away from the songs and genres we didn't want. He also gave us some really brilliant ideas about introducing our wedding party and the set up for the wedding itself. He also is one incredible MC. The flow of the wedding was impeccable, and Nick helped steer the wedding in the right directions, with help of his stellar communication with us and our coordinator. Aside from music, he took a very darkly lit venue and added some really magical lighting to make sure that no space was unlit while still providing shine! Nick Javier at It's Time Entertainment is awesome. He was the MC and DJ for our wedding. He met with us twice, didn't give us any kind of pressure sell, but just blew us away with his vision. He was open to communications and changes right up to the last minute, which was extremely helpful when the father of the bride passed away a week before the wedding. I'll just put it this way. Nick is the best!! My wife and I are so happy we hired him for our wedding this summer! He came highly recommended and the process working together was a truly 5 star experience! After contacting Nick, he sent us a great organizer with helpful hints and things to remember as we thought about all the details of the wedding and reception. His 20+ years of experience really showed as we met in person to plan everything out- he was able to collaborate with us about our vision, and give us ideas and recommendations based on things he's seen be successful (and not successful) in the past. Believe me he's seen it all! We had a 200 guest wedding and 7 attendants on both sides for the Wedding party- he knew everyone's names and really took the time to get to know all of us which really enhanced our experience. Oh yeah did I mention he was willing to travel to our location in Tahoe?! He drove up early making sure everything was setup and working properly- he even had backup mic's in place just in case something went wrong during a critical moment during the ceremony. We had designed a shared spotify playlist for dinner and gave him some ideas of "must have" songs for the reception- and then just gave him free reign to play what he felt was appropriate for the moment the rest of the night. He read the crowd perfectly and kept the energy up, always responsive to requests and our wishes. Much more than a DJ, Nick was really the Master of Ceremonies and a 2nd Wedding/Reception Planner. I would recommend him for everything from parties to corporate events and to top it all of his prices were way more reasonable than I expected. I had such a great experience working with Nick. He was our MC/DJ for our wedding a few weeks ago and did an amazing job. He was very professional and so helpful in planning out our wedding to be exactly what we had envisioned. We had a unique situation and were merging two different cultures. When we first met with Nick he was very helpful, knew all the great music, gave us some excellent suggestions and was very personable. Unfortunately, on our wedding day it didn't run as smoothly as we had hoped. He had told us when we met with him that he would email us the packet that included all the music we had gone over so far, but I had to email him several days later to request it. Our minister asked Nick to announce at the beginning of the ceremony to turn off cell phones and other electronics, which did not happen. Then for our grand entrance he forgot to announce the Maid of Honor and Best Man...when corrected he announced her as a Matron. She's definitely not married. Both she and my mother asked him why he announced it that way and he told them that we grabbed him right before the ceremony and said it was matron, he also told them that he got confused because we "supposedly" made a bunch of last minute changes. (eye roll) Throughout the night we were disappointed in all the "old school" music he played. Some was fun, but others were just tired. We had asked him to kindly make reminders throughout the night to have guests sign our book and he didn't do so until 30 minutes before the event was over so we are missing a lot of guests. He also announced us incorrectly multiple times. I may be a little harsh, but I was expecting everything to be flawless. There were a lot of small mistakes that our guests may not have really noticed, but we did and it mattered to us. Overall, I give him 3 stars. He is a nice guy and I'm sure he's done some great events, but ours could have been better. read more

Nick is THE BEST! Nick DJ'd and MC'd our wedding a few weeks ago and it was perfect! Nick was extremely helpful with the planning process as well. He helped us pick the music that worked for me and my husband and our friends and family.People throughout the night were commenting how great he was. He got the crowd up and moving without being pushy. He is great at reading the crowd and keeping the party going!! He even threw in some tricks we didn't know about that made our night extra fun. The whole day and night was extremely stress free. He worked with our other vendors to make sure everything was on track and we all needed to be where we were supposed to be. The shoelywed game was also really fun. It was a great way to get things started- and throw in some extra laughs. When the party got started- it didn't stop. People of all ages were dancing their hearts out! It's been 7 months since my wedding but whenever I think back to the events of the day I still remember how happy I was with how smoothly everything went and I owe a lot of that to Nick. When planning the wedding, the DJ and entertainment service wasn't the priority we thought it would be but after talking with Nick and other potential DJ's we realized how important it would be to have a seasoned wedding DJ run our reception and are so relieved we decided to go with It's Time Entertainment. I got the sense from speaking with the other DJ's that we would have to really micromanage the schedule of the reception and that they would just follow whatever schedule we laid out; if anything unexpected or last minute popped up I didn't feel confident the other DJ's would be able to handle it. It was such a relief to be able to just meet with Nick, tell him what kind of event we wanted to have and let him take care of the details. He had many great ideas on what we could do to make the event run smoothly and also be fun for the guests. He had worked at my venue before so his familiarity with the venue was also so helpful. I was already busy trying to answer questions about the venue with other vendors so I was glad that he knew what to expect working out there. He also made sure to pay a visit to the venue and get updated to any changes they had made. We made a lot of last minute changes and it was no problem for Nick. Nick also set up the audio for our hilltop ceremony. One big plus I didn't realize until after we got the wedding pictures back was that Nick had set up the speakers at the ceremony site so that they wouldn't be so visible; not one of our pictures shows the speakers at all, all you see are gorgeous hilltop views!!! We were so grateful to him for having the presence of mind to make sure the hilltop view would be unobstructed by the speakers. One comment we got from a staff member from our venue was that usually because of the heat, the party tends to end a little early as people don't want to dance all night. Well Nick kept the party going 'til the very end. I'm sure it would have gone on at least an hour more if we could have. The night really finished on a high note and made it all the more memorable. The two main compliments we got about our wedding were the venue and Nick!!! Everyone was so impressed with how fun he made it and my husband and I are so thrilled with how it all went. If you're looking for a wedding DJ I highly recommend Nick. He was always on top of everything. He made sure everything ran smoothly, turning it into a fun filled night for all! read more
