LOVE the variety in one of my faves! Pop Rocks! They even have it in gum

We come here after leaving the every single time on Wok because it's humongous from the outside, colorful, the smell SMELLS like Halloween Night, and amazing! What a presentation! The candy oh my lanta you can basically get anything and everything candy related! I myself LOVE sour candy and in the middle of this place they have a sour ropes spot where you get a bag and go to each spot that have different flavored ropes I them. Are the bags getting smaller or is it just me getting more excited piling more up? They also have the same exact selection with CHOCOLATE anything chocolate!!! It's a dream come true they even have candy flavored drinks! If you like sour as much as I do and haven't tried sour soda or warhead fruit soda put it on your bucket list! They also have giant candy merch! They truly have it all and the workers are so sweet! There's truly nothing better being back at your hotel after a long day at universal with a big bag of candy I can promise you that, this place is the spot!

Located in City Walk at Universal Studios in Universal City. It's a place that sells sweets of all sorts. They have bins where you can place candy or sweets in a zip lock type baggie and then you pay for it at the counter. There is a lot to choose from and some cool things to see and look at. Overall if you got a craving for sweet snacks this is the place to stop at.

October 30, 2025 | After sharing dessert at a nearby cafe with friends, some of us had fun walking through It'Sugar! What a fun place! Inside | Each time I spot an It'Sugar store, it automatically makes me smile! You can't help but feel happy while walking through! Life-sized items made of candy, international candy/sweets, larger than life sweets, cute plushies, Barbie-themed drinks, movie-themed items & all things fun! Colorful, bright & cheerful...and most of all, FUN! Customer Service | Friendly with each visit! Happy & cheerful employees! Thanks again, Ian! Also, thanks for offering my friends & I samples of Hi-Chew candy when we walked in, including a smooth checkout experience! Wicked | Yes, please! I immediately knew that I had to have the Wicked for Good Tumbler, sparkly & cute & perfect to take to the movie! Note | I miss having an It'Sugar here at Venice Beach on the Boardwalk! I always enjoyed shopping at the store, including getting gifts for friends & family! Overall | Always fun exploring It'Sugar, fun times & so much to see, always satisfying my sweet tooth! Let's go!

How can a place like It's Sugar have anything less than 5 stars? It's heavenly sweet on top of sweets. A variety of candies, jelly beans, chocolate, packaged candies, popcorn, cups, stuffed things, and loli pops, the choice is yours , they have something for everyone. Colorful candy store to satisfy your sweet cravings and for the sour puss you can sweeten up some.

A 10lb sweet tooth always needs sweets. This was perfect. The most difficult thing we found was what to order. Huge selection of sweet treats & candy. More than enough here to sate my sweet tooth and probably most others.

Universal City Walk is a fun spot for this summer. Lots of shops and fun eats, and entertainments. What a cool Sugary spot! I got this beautiful hilarious cup for my delusional friend's birthday! She loved it and cracked up laughing all day. Great service. Friendly staff. Ambiance is nice and funny.

The perfect pit stop before catching a movie at the AMC next door! Sure, it's a little pricey--but hey, it's CityWalk, and it's still cheaper (and way more fun) than grabbing candy inside the theater. What makes this place special is the sheer variety: endless sour belt flavors (my weakness!), classic old-school candies that spark instant nostalgia, and even jaw-dropping oversized treats that are just as fun to look at as they are to eat. Whether you're loading up a custom candy bag or just popping in for a sweet stroll down memory lane, it's worth a visit. Parents, fair warning--resisting temptation here is nearly impossible, because you'll end up wanting to grab something for yourself too! Quick shout-out to one of the employees who went above and beyond helping us hunt down cola gummies. They were out of the OG flavor, but he showed us a clever hack to snag a few from the assorted mix and even let me sample the other flavors. That little extra touch of customer service makes the candy run feel even sweeter. Every time I come in, the staff are just as friendly and helpful.

Candy, candy and more candy. So many choices. store was packed. Staff was changing out older candy for fresher candy. Its mostly bulk candy but they had individual candies as well. Toys, some shirts. Perfectly located in the shopping and eating center outside Universal Studios. Had to grab the Dodgers Mix so we could enjoy them as we watched the last game of the World Series. Highly recommend if you're having a sweets craving.

It's Sugar is a fun and colorful candy store that's perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth. It offers a huge variety of nostalgic and unique candies, from classic favorites to quirky treats you won't find elsewhere. Service has always been great! I literally feel like a child as soon as I walk in to this store. So many different candies from back in my childhood days. I am sure you will find what you are looking for when visiting. Store in general is well kept and clean.

Ugh, I would buy everything the store if I could. I used to take field trips here and we would get their sugar tubes, which you can't get anywhere else. They have such a variety of candy options, I end up spending about $80 for some packages of candy. I love the way the place is decorated, it's a candy land dream. The workers are always super helpful. They even have new trendy candies.

While visiting universal this spot is a must lol..especially if you have a sweet tooth like me. Everything you can think of is here. Today I came in for a chocolate . It wasn't busy at all, and service was great, glad we made it in.

This is a very late post but worth to review. A fun sweet spot at Universal Studios! This candy store is a must visit, especially for those with a sweet tooth. My son loves it, and we always make it a point to visit and indulge in sugar to start and end the day. The store is clean, organized, and overflowing with treats it's like being a kid again..and it's so easy to get lost in the store because so much to look at. It's become a tradition to visit whenever we're at the park.

The dark chocolate has a deep, rich flavor that isn't overly sweet, and the almonds add just the right amount of crunch and balance. I also tried an assortment of their other chocolates and each one was thoughtfully made with nuanced flavors and impeccable quality. Whether it was silky ganache centers or beautifully crafted truffles, you can tell Laderach takes pride in every piece. This review will showcase how kindness embraced me on this night, at this joint, almost like we were honoring the poster and its words like we were pilgrims in motion. I was at Pride, enjoying, walking, but too tired to be part of the crowd fueled moments. And I passed this place, and saw that it was virtually a person free environment, and I could go for something sweet, so in I went. I approached the two cashiers, Nadya and and Melanie. Nadya was the comedian of the two. She made me chuckle from a place of within, it was laughter given freely, like oxygen from the trees. I asked them to inform me about the offerings of the place. Nadya explained that they had frozen yogurt, chimney cakes, and other assorted treats. However, she warned me that the Chimney Cakes were not available because Pride night disallowed for the ease in their production. She describe that the process was "messy" and involved and they were going to be simply to "busy" to create Chimeny Cakes for all the customers of the night. Busy? I inquired. I was the only customer in the joint. The surprise in my question was answered by her humor. She acted quietly dramatic, hands rolling in circles, and in comical voice emphaasized that they were indeed so busy, that they could not spare a moment to engage in the consuming process of making Chimney Cakes. This is where my laughter filled the nearly empty room. My chuckles were sincere. Nadya had taken a moment to give me the gift of unchained delight in the form of solemn cackling. She also prudently offered for me to get some frozen yogurt, add add some toppings-- they woudl be charged by weight. I could get a cup of frozen yogurt that was right for me and how I felt. She recommended the Dulce De Leche flavor. I did not get that flavor, but appreciated the thought. I pondered the flavors and got Peanut butter and topped it with reeces pieces. A simple duo, true, but it was made to hit my spot. I sat, and waited for more moments to unfold. But I was ready to view them too. Then enters a drunk girl and Aton. Nadya, Melanie, and Aton, were speaking to a super drunk girl. I heard did you throw up? I assumed she was so drunk she might have thrown up in the bathroom, and Aton might have had to clean it up. She then passed me. I asked her to come. She was super drunk, I could tell. Why? Her eyes, were full of liquor. She approached me and got to close, like if she did not she would topple. She explained that she was waiting for her friends and they could not find her. I told her to sit in a chair and text her friends the name of the place so they can come pick her up. I did not want her to be vulnerable in a world where drunk girls get hurt. I walked into the spot not knowing the name. I asked Nadya and Melanie for the name of the place. They did not hear me. They were busy with customers, busy with their jobs. I turned to customers and they ignored me too. And rightfully soul. I was tending to an emergency only I could see. One of them then said the name of the joint. He pointed to the name of the wall. I noticed the sign reminded me to be kind, not the sign that was super big and obvious. I turned to the drunk girl to let her know the name of the place but in the midst of the name quest, she got up and left. Ok. May God be with you. Another customer told me, "the sign is right there in pink, just like the pink in your beautiful shirt." He had showed me kindness. I had made a public fumble, I know it. And he took time to care for my feelings, to turn embarrassment into fulfillment. I turned to him, and gave him a hug, that he returned in kind embrace. The connection was felt in the embrace, not only in spirt, but in the squeeze of us too. I said happy pride, and we meant it. We were siblings supporting each other. Then, I explained to Aton, what I wanted to do. Have her sit down, so she did not go outside into the world drunk and vulnerable. He looked at me. And I said, it is not a comment of your generosity, as a customer my priorities were different. I was trying to correct what I had implied in error: that him not allowing for the girl to sit, was akin to being against empathy. He was going out the door, and then he approached me at the table. He was ready to fight, I thought. He ws not. He was ready to explain. He explained to me that the girl had shared that she wanted to puke. If she sat, she could have puked at the restaurant. She could have made the place smell, and ruined the experience of other customers, including my own. He had to be mindful of that, and alsio, the fact that he did not want to clean up after others puke. I understood, he was helping out a business continue operations, not a rest spot for the ill. He held a boundary, and I had to respect that. He reminded me that kindness has to be offered in a controlled way.
