Why am I just trying this place out ? Omg ... the candy here is so good. So many options of Swedish sweets made just right. So many flavors and textures. Love it all. I got to choose a variety of candy one or two of each just to try and let me tell you .... They are all soooo good. Specially the cute marshmallow ones and the sweet and sour ones willed with soft candy. Sour strawberry Rambo bites is the one I loved. Really good candy and reasonably priced. Customer service wasn't friendly at all, I wish the girl at the counter smiled once or acknowledged our presence. Seven of us walked in and bought a lot of candy. Overall a great place for candy .... 5 stars for the candy but I always care about the customer service and ambiance so a solid 4 stars for the whole experience.

Bubs!!! So happy that this location doesn't have a big online presence as it means when we come into the store we can actually find the rare items. Bubs are my favorite and sockerbit no longer has a good selection in person or online, so I needed to find a new spot. Beyond happy I ran across Kandi. I always to try make a quick stop when I am in the area. Highly recommend :) Overall 5/5 stars.

This is a Swedish Candy Candy store. They have a variety of gummy candy and chocolates to choose from along the wall. You grab a bag and start filling it with what you prefer & then pay based on the weight. My favorites were the sour gummy candies. Parking- street parking

    That's $19 a pound.

Colorful, pretty nostalgic store. Lots of whimsical gummy or marshmallow candy. Limited amount of chocolates. They charge $19 per pound but my friend had fun choosing, literally like a kid in a candy shop. They sell some prepackaged gift bags, unmarked. It made me miss The Sweet Factory of decades gone by. The employees greet you but otherwise leave you alone. It's clean and organized but a lot of unused space, one long bare wall for aesthetics. There's a fun color changing full length mirror. My friend has gone back and said the fruity flavors are great. I won't try because for me the steep price isn't worth a try.

I was really excited to try this place, but unfortunately I found a hair inside my bag of candy. It completely ruined the experience for me and made me question the cleanliness and handling practices. Hoping they improve their quality control. Pretty gross and not something I'd expect from a specialty candy shop.

Every time I come to SoCal I try to look for a Swedish candy shop because we don't have too many in the Bay Area! There is street parking but we found a public lot nearby. This shop is cool because you can make your own candy bag! You pay for a 1/4 lb. There were soooo many choices like sweet, sour, and even chocolate. They have some of the typical ones I've seen online like the bubs and skulls. A fun and tasty experience :)

It was a cute place, but i didn't like much of the candy. I wanted more sour pucker. It's like a Sweets Factory, but more expensive. It's candy, not that many unique flavors here. Meh

Stopped in here to get my daughter some Swedish candy she absolutely loves the stuff. We came in on a Sunday and the store was empty, which made it easy to browse. We were greeted right away by the associate at the register, which was nice. My daughter had sent me a list of what she wanted, so I grabbed a bag and scooper and went to work filling it up. They had everything she asked for, including sour skull Bubs, banana caramel Bubs, bubble gum flavored Bubs, and sour Coke bottles. I ended up with just under a pound, and it came out to about $18. Great selection and an easy, straightforward process. Fingers crossed she loves her haul!

I discovered Kändi visiting a friend in LA and had so much fun getting to choose candies I had seen online and tried maybe once otherwise. The staff was friendly and the store is cute, just a wall of candy to scoop from! I decided to check out their online store when I got home, as the staff mentioned it when I said I was from Missouri and lamented our lack of Swedish Candy. My order came pretty quick, about a week, and shipping wasn't insane, 4.99 felt reasonable. I'll be ordering and visiting again!

Kandi is such a fun little candy shop! It's got that Scandinavian-style vibe bright, and full of mix-and-match candy bins with all kinds of unique treats. I loved how many options there were, especially the different types of licorice. It's definitely more of a spot to grab-and-go rather than somewhere to hang out. Everything I tried was tasty, and it's a great place to explore new kinds of candy you won't find in a regular store. It's still a bit of a hidden gem, when we went the service was very fast, it was not too crowded for a Sunday morning. Highly recommend if you're a candy lover!

I first discovered Swedish candy when Sockerbit opened a location in Anaheim, and ever since, I've been hoping for a shop closer to where I live. Enter Kändi--the answer to my sweet tooth's wishes! Located right on Ventura Blvd with easy parking, Kändi had its soft opening today (2/14/25) and officially opens tomorrow (2/15/25). The shop is owned by Lucas Halac, 26, a local 818 native who's no stranger to the sweet life--he previously helped his mom manage Menchie's Sherman Oaks but is now launching his own venture. Lucas shared that Swedish candy has been growing in popularity in the U.S. thanks to its unique textures, flavors, and fun shapes. At Kändi, you'll find a wide variety of gummies, marshmallows, chocolates, and licorice, all made without GMOs, Red Dye 40, high fructose corn syrup, or trans fats. They also offer gluten-free, vegan, gelatin-free, and kosher options, making it easy for everyone to indulge. One of the highlights here is their candy mixes--handpicked and freshly packed daily in LA, they're like a Scandinavian sampler platter! Whether you prefer sweet, sour, marshmallow, chocolate, licorice, or wrapped varieties, there's a mix for every craving. The tradition behind Swedish candy runs deep--Fredagsmys ("Cozy Friday") and Lördagsgodis ("Saturday Candy") are beloved customs in Sweden, where filling a bag with pick & mix treats is the highlight of the week for kids and adults alike. I made my own custom bag, and it was so much fun! I'll definitely be back for more. If you're a candy lover or just curious about Swedish treats, Kändi is worth a visit!

Every mochi tasted incredibly fresh, with a soft, pillowy texture that showcased the craftsmanship behind each handmade piece. **Sho-Mochi: 5/5** One of Fugetsu-Do's signature creations, the Sho-Mochi was a true standout. The vibrant blue mochi was incredibly soft and chewy, while the silky white chocolate ganache filling delivered a rich, creamy sweetness that melted effortlessly on the palate. **Strawberry Anko Mochi: 4/5** The strawberry anko mochi featured a soft, pillowy wrapper filled with a blend of strawberry and smooth white bean paste, then topped with a hazelnut chocolate ganache that added a rich, nutty sweetness. Unfortunately, the strawberry filling tasted somewhat artificial, lacking the fresh, vibrant fruit flavor I was hoping for. **Green Tea Mochi: 5/5** My love for matcha made this an easy standout. It has such a selection of candy from your childhood, and for kids, random unique gifts to keep them busy. but yesterday...all that flew out the window. I approached the sandwich counter and asked the person working (an angry woman apparently) what her favorite sandwiches are. After she took a minute to complain about how she had been making sandwiches all day and her brain is fried and she didn't really have any recommendations for me (and was seemingly annoyed at me even asking) she looked at the clock and advised that I was 2 minutes too late to order a hot sandwich. literally the 2 minutes she took to complain about her job cost me the sandwich. now, if it was my shop and a nice family came in and asked me my opinion on something and I took a minute or two to say the things that she said I would give them a sandwich and make that sandwich be the last sandwich of the day, but instead apparently my money wasn't green enough for her. She shut it down and two minutes later was out the door. she was rude, and honestly it just seemed that she didn't give an F. Today I called the store to speak with the owner and the person who answered the phone gave me the runaround. it was clear that either the workers didn't want to connect me with the owner or the owner doesn't want to hear the complaint. this place has gone downhill.
