We shopped here and found it to be a great experience. There was one drawback that Monsieur has no control over... Tuesday 12-30-25, coming to Farmers Market (and The Grove, adjacent to Farmer's Market) during the festive holidays to support the local merchants, ended up being a visit of regret. Parking at the Farmer's Market is horrendous to the degree that their policy, validation and rates they charge customers to shop there is very counterintuitive to supporting their retailers and restaurants to generate foot traffic and business. I wonder if the food court / shopping center's clients (those who run a business here) know of this mismanagement that affects their business? The food court / shopping center's parking system is disingenuous to supporting retailers and customers. You park, you eat, you shop and buy, hang out for maybe 2-3 hours, spend money and even with a merchant parking validation you pay $17 to park and support the center's businesses. The retailers who I'm sure pay a hefty rent should be in an uproar to this issue which if resolved could mean a surge in customers and income. Let the public support the merchants and make parking FREE for patrons who make purchases.

When I complained about the over charge the incompetent cashier told me is because I was in a "hurry". A second person took over and check the receipt and still couldn't fix the issue. I have been shopping here for the last 2 decades and the service has gone down hill with unqualified people who can't do their jobs. The products have excellent quality, but has really poor help and this is not the first time I am overcharged in the cashier, but they usually nice and try to fixed their mistake

Waked in today around 4pm and was greeted by 2 of their employees. They gave me a very nice, warm welcome and even asked me what was it that I needed? I told them that I am browsing, but if I need help, I will let them know. I haven't been here in decades. I happened to be in Hollywood and remembered this lovely Middle Eastern store. They have fresh produce, variety of imported foods, great deli, selection of fresh meat, & dairy. They also have a good selection of baked goods. Got 1pint of Sour Cream, 5 bananas, 3 oranges, a bag of apples, couple of different variety of breads. Matnakash, (Armenian bread) & lavash-another type of Armenian bread. I also got water, box of tea bags, ready made salads, different types of berries, some seasoning & dried fruit. Employees are very helpful and the store is not big, but somehow they fit everything there and is fully stocked, organized and very clean. Prices are unbeatable. Very affordable. Parking is very challenging and it's street parking only! If you happen to be in the area, give this cute, quaint store a try!

I'm very disappointed to have to write this, but this grocery store is UNSAFE!…read moreNO ONE who works there is properly wearing a mask. It's either under their chin or under there nose as they are yelling across the store, sorting producer, and cutting deli meats. There are signs everywhere, but the employees of all people ignore them. I like what this store has to offer for unique Armenian groceries. Cheeses, dips, teas, grains, chocolates, and more. I was excited to support a small business during the pandemic, but I will NEVER go here again when the workers clearly have no regard for the safety of their customers. If there is this much disregard now, what were they doing before? Many customers were not wearing masks either. Btw, you don't need to take off your mask to talk on the phone. You can be heard, and if you don't believe me, and feel you must take off your mask to speak, and you must take the call now, then please, please go outside.

Relieved and rejoiced to finally find a place nearby that had all the Thai ingredients I needed!…read moreSmall but good. Sadly the economy has increased prices of course but that's not really the store's fault. PASTES Great selection of curry pastes, chili pastes, and seasoning packets for making things like Tom Kha and Papaya salad (All ranged roughly around $1-2). A selection of jarred sauces like , shrimp pastes, fried chili paste, and other sauces that were a few dollars more. COCONUT MILK/CREAM I focused on the Mae Ploy coconut cream which was $3.79 AROMATICS Aromatics like galangal, lime, and lemongrass are available in both dry powder form and fresh form. The powders ranged from $3-6). You can also get star anise either in dried bags or as a powder as well SAUCE Good selection of fish sauces and soy sauces. Large Viet Hung fish sauce - $13 I also spotted cheaper brands like Tiparos, Megachef, etc THAI CHILI POWDER! Finally. Been trying to find it at all the other Asian markets and it's been weirdly hard. I got my trusted 7oz red top container for $4.99 THAI TEA Thai tea in both canned ($3.39) and bagged instant form ($5) PRODUCE I was a bit sad at first on how small the produce section was but it turns out they actually really did have all the needed basics there. - Green papaya (they only have whole, no pre-shred) - Holy Basil in bags - Turmeric in bags - Thai chili peppers - Galangal $7/pound - Lemongrass stalks (I remember it said either $2-3 but didn't specify any further whether that meant PER stalk or per ounce or per pound, etc - Makrut ("Kaffir") lime leaves in bags (said it was $26 a pound but didnt provide a smaller, more realistic measurement - long beans - daikon - as well as a very modest collection of mainstream produce like tomatoes, onions, button mushrooms, etc CANNED Things like bamboo, including thin or thick cuts They also have my personal favorite jarred bamboo in chili oil. RAMENS They've got a small selection of ramens, also including variations of Indomie Mie Goreng ($1 per bag) and 1-2 Korean selections like Shin Ramen The sections I breezed by included oils, rice, snacks, and a few fridges with meats, eggs, desserts, frozen galangal, miso, etc. Unfortunately they didn't have the frozen precut lemongrass containers you sometimes get at Thai or Viet stores They also take card! It's a tiny tiny store with an equally tiny parking lot, so be prepared expect a full lot sometimes. I luckily found a spot but also noticed that it can be a bit of work to shimmy your car back out when you leave since they're packed so tight Definitely worth a visit though if you need this specialty of ingredients.

And she made something amazingly delicious out of it! Fast forward a few years later, we were blocks away when I reminded her about this place. She asked if we can make a stop so she can make that same dish again. (She mentioned Hubbers might have made a request for it.) I was curious enough to go in this time. I expected it to be crowded because Sanamluang is incredibly popular. We were lucky to find the only open parking spot which happened to be right up front. This place is deceiving! Looks like a no nonsense place looking from the outside but it's pretty big once you get inside! They even have a seafood and meat section at the back. They'll also clean and fry in-store purchase fish. I did notice that most of their products are pricier compared to other Asian markets. I didn't have the need for any, so I came out empty handed. But Mom got the cut of meat she needed to make us dinner this week! Okay first stop (for me.) Being far from home, not sure when I'd come back... if the need comes up and I happen to be around, maybe...?

They don't have a lot of space, so the grocery areas are packed. However, fruits and vegetables are always clean and nicely placed on shelves. I love their hot deli department. Their rotisserie chicken pieces and barbecue ribs are a great deals when you want a quick meal. But most of all, I think it's to people who work here that make the store great! The staff here is often friendly and helpful. Some of them, though not very conversant in English, always try to greet me politely and smile while they're working hard to put things in order. I also love their underground parking, very spacious with a lot of standard size, instead of compact, slots.

I must have looked like a crazy man at checkout to double check the digital coupons were clipped on the app! I wasn't expecting to find mark downs at the deli! I picked up a premium Cobb salad and a side of Trail Slaw. There was also baked chicken too but I already had my hands full walking back to the office. The pre-lunch crowd was decent. I saw a few people in the aisles and produce section. Jeez, I didn't think tortillas and the refried beans were so popular! I grabbed the BOGO offer on the carb smart tortillas by La Banderita, 2 for $6 large size, 6ct. I also decided to try La Preferida, the internet's best tasting refried beans (must try). They were on sale so I grabbed two cans but also got the Kroger Spicy refried beans too to try. I tried it last night, pretty good flavor and texture. Update: 6 pm, Tuesday... I opened the La Preferida and tried it. I'm unsure about it being the best. Perhaps, it's the authentic style? It seemed to be looser in texture in the can. Oh, and the low carb tortillas (meh... Try a different brand).
