First event, Simone Biles, first game, Clippers, first concert Cake. This was our 2nd VIP experience, we had a reserved table at The Pala Starlite Patio to watch the 3rd of July Spectacular. There was live music, specialty cocktails and raffles. One food kiosk was open for Tanner's Burgers and snacks. It provided a wonderful elevated viewing platform. We enjoyed the Oceanside drone and fireworks to celebrate this special year. This was our first drone show. We preferred it and chose to go out this night prior to the 4th fireworks show at our home. The arena feels modern, clean, and well-designed, and honestly, there isn't a bad seat in the house. No matter where you're sitting, you have a great view of the action. One thing people often mention is parking. You can pay for arena parking, which typically ranges from $15-$25 depending on the event, or you can park for free behind some of the nearby businesses and enjoy a short walk. Personally, I think it's a fair trade-off, especially considering everything the arena offers. The food options are surprisingly good for an event venue. The smash burgers are delicious, and the steak nachos are hands-down my favorite. They also offer a good selection of alcoholic beverages for those who want to enjoy a drink while watching a game or concert. What really stands out is the variety of events. From hockey, indoor football, soccer, and basketball to concerts and family entertainment, there's always something happening. The atmosphere is energetic, fun, and welcoming every time we've visited. One of the best things Frontwave Arena does is offer free tickets to many of their sporting events for local families through promotions on their Instagram page. Follow them and keep an eye out! If paying $15-$25 for parking helps support a venue that regularly gives away tickets so families and friends can enjoy games together, I'm more than happy to do it. Staff and fellow guests were friendly. Lots of people helped us with directions around the theater. We parked in South Lot. Short paved walk to entrance. Note: Fixed chair seats have numbers on the seat. Grass reserved seats have the numbers on the ground. Lots of folks were initially confused. Ask the staff if you lost, they are very helpful. Lots of people brought their own food (some with full on dinners and dessert). You can buy food there also. We had lots of fun. We'll definitely come back and see other shows. I'm always trying to find ways to tap into my creativity and voilà, Clay 'N Latte. It's been up and running at this location since 2004 making its artful imprint on the community. When I entered the studio, the staff were very friendly and helpful creating a welcoming environment for art expression. One of the them checked me in. Another one walked me through what was on the table and where to find things. I appreciated their genuine assistance throughout my artwork. I can tell it's a popular place with the amount of people already there doing something creative for Easter weekend. All in all, I had a positive experience. I just looove my Easter egg!! I'll definitely go back for the adult events and strongly recommend this family-owned business to the Yelp Community :-) FYI - They don't have lattes.

This was my first visit to this theater in 13 years, I grew up going to this theater. Bittersweet but happy to see it somewhat modernized since my last visit. I went to this theater because the closest AMC showing this film was Fashion Valley. All was well until after the movie. The lights came on and a post movie bonus played. Everyone but me and nice older gentleman got up to leave. A young cinema worker walked in, came up to me and accused me of FaceTiming and talking to someone on the phone during the whole movie. I was gooped and gagged because from the time the previews start until the theater lights come on my phone is OFF and in my purse. She said a couple had complained to her and been issued a refund because of this...I was so shocked and told this worker, who I'm assuming was a supervisor due to her slightly different regal outfit (ill fitting grayish polo), that I did no such thing. This worker continued to accuse me. I left the theater feeling super weird at this entire situation especially her behavior. This was a truly bizarre end to a mediocre theater going experience. Will not be coming back. AMC forever.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing from start to finish…read more Check-in was advertised for 4:00 p.m., but we didn't get our room until nearly 8:30 p.m., costing us hours of the vacation we paid for. Throughout our stay, we requested basic necessities like fresh towels and soap refills, but they never arrived despite multiple requests. On checkout day, housekeeping walked into our room at 9:00 a.m., a full hour before the 10:00 a.m. checkout, while we were still getting dressed. Our privacy was completely disregarded. I was also repeatedly singled out because of my service dog. Multiple employees yelled, "You better clean up after your dog," even though I was visibly carrying waste bags and had done nothing wrong. It was humiliating and showed a lack of training on how to appropriately interact with guests who use service animals. To make matters worse, I unexpectedly started my period and needed pads before the gift shop opened. Because the resort had no way to help and the trams were so unreliable, I had to walk all the way down the steep hill just to get basic hygiene supplies. For a resort of this size, that level of guest support is unacceptable. The most concerning part of our stay was the Russian tortoise in the kids' center. I am the founder of The Wise Frog Reptile Rescue and have spent more than 11 years rescuing and rehabilitating reptiles. The tortoise appeared to lack proper UVB and heat, and its shell was in alarming condition. I brought my concerns to staff, but they showed little interest in addressing them. My children were heartbroken because they immediately recognized the animal appeared to be in distress. An animal should never be displayed for children if its welfare is being overlooked. Between the delayed check-in, ignored requests, lack of privacy, treatment over my service dog, unreliable transportation, and concerns about animal welfare, this resort fell far short of the experience we expected. I hope management takes these issues seriously and makes meaningful changes for both guests and the animals in their care

The lobby is quite comfortable and has a lot of artifacts showing the amazing history of the resort. Will probably take a few visits to go through it all. One last thing. They made an error on their schedule which resulted in me having tickets on two different dates of the same event. Rather than send an email, they personally called me and gave me options that quickly resolved the issue! I got my second wind, rustled up some festive attire and joined a group of friends for a night filled with outstanding food and drink from some of the best restaurants in San Diego. The effervescent crowd was dressed to the hilt in summer couture. Crowds mingled while sipping wine and beer and sampling the best that San Diego's restaurants have to offer. Urban plates colorful vegetarian salad was finished with a delightful dressing. I also really enjoyed the squash ravioli from Vigilucci's and the shrimp empanadas from BlueFire grill. Omni San Diego is a spectacular venue, it is one of the premier resorts in the nation with a panoramic and breathtaking view. As twilight settled to darkness I jumped into my pumpkin chariot and did not stay for the movie screening. I was exhausted and filled with gratitude for life's pleasures and great friends.
