Unfortunately, my experience upon arrival was extremely disappointing. While seeking assistance with obtaining a refund, I was met with unprofessional behavior from the front desk staff. The employee repeatedly raised her voice, talked over me while I was attempting to speak, called me "snotty," and laughed at me while I was simply requesting to speak with the individual who had the authority to process my refund. Rather than attempting to help resolve the issue, I felt that my concerns were dismissed and that I was treated with a lack of respect and talked down to. The individual stated that because she is the mother of the owner that her actions " are no surprise" and nothing would be done. As a parent, this interaction raised serious concerns about the professionalism and conduct of the staff. I would expect employees who work with children and families to demonstrate patience and respect in all interactions. The behavior I experienced did not reflect that. This has affected my confidence in the facility's ability to care for children. Based on the way I was treated and the ongoing difficulty reaching anyone by phone, I would not feel comfortable leaving my child in their care, especially knowing that I may be unable to reach someone in the event of an emergency. Reliable communication is essential when parents entrust others with the care and safety of their children.

The owner and her adult daughters frequently bicker in the lobby. The owner and others gossip about other parents. My most recent time, my daughter had to use the restroom. When I took her back there, there was no toilet paper, soap, or paper towels. A male teenager up front said that they are going through it too fast so they won't be providing it and the owner gave me a toilet paper roll to bring back there but then said I had to bring it back. I then had to take my kid out to the car to use hand sanitizer. LOL. It's so sad, it's comical. I would use caution when deciding on this place.

The facility wasn't perfectly organized, which I expected after seeing the reviews posted here before, but I didn't let that dissuade me. I was disappointed to find out they did not offer transportation from my youngest daughter's school any longer, but a discount was given on some of her classes to make up for the fact that I had to drive her from school to KidSport. Less than two months into the programs, the martial arts teacher quit, and there was no replacement lined up. My older daughter was upset when she arrived and didn't know what to do or where to go, so was in tears. One of the staff, instead of offering her some support or comfort, told her to "Stop whining and being a baby." Unacceptable. The breaking point came last week when I got to the facility to drop my youngest daughter off after school, the day before Thanksgiving break. My older daughter tells me that she got left at school. The person responsible for picking up all of the students from the elementary school didn't see her right away, and just assumed we were on vacation despite not receiving a note/call/email from us as is outlined in their protocol, so LEFT WITHOUT HER. The school, knowing my 9 year old little girl was left behind, called them and she came back to get my daughter. No one from KidSport called me to let me know my child had been left, or that this mistake had been made. I only found out by accident. And when I brought it up, the woman who left her behind laughed, as if it was somehow funny. I hate having to post a negative review, but when it comes to the basic safety of a child, I cannot in good conscience let it go. I can't even think what might have happened to my little girl had a responsible teacher not been there to watch over her when the people we had paid to do so failed miserably.

She had zero teaching skills and had no idea how to keep the kids engaged or excited about learning to swim. At one lesson, an older more experienced teacher stepped in and took over as she saw the younger teacher was doing so poorly. The older teacher got my child to do more in 5 min than the younger teacher was able to do in the first 40 min of class. I asked to switch to the older teacher's class but unfortunately she was just there to help out in the next class (and didn't teach there regularly). We WASTED the $90 for the lessons that is for sure. My older kids had gone to a swim school in Leander but she isn't teaching anymore :( Do not waste your money or time here, find a place that has EXPERIENCED teachers.

For my daughter's solo entry alone, I discovered we were charged over $200 more than the actual competition fee. Costume costs were also excessive, especially when many items appeared to come from inexpensive online retailers while parents were charged significantly higher prices. Another major concern was the lack of accountability and communication. Concerns brought up by parents were often dismissed, and at times families were made to feel unreasonable for asking legitimate questions. Communication was inconsistent, with frequent changes to contact information and difficulty receiving clear responses. Most importantly, I was deeply troubled by the treatment of children. No child should leave practice feeling humiliated or emotionally distressed. My 6-year-old daughter came home crying on multiple occasions, and other parents shared that their children witnessed staff yelling harshly at her. It was heartbreaking to watch her confidence diminish over time. After two years, she became so emotionally overwhelmed that she begged me in tears not to make her audition again. There were also issues involving choreography changes being made without proper permission or communication, despite claims otherwise. Additionally, while it was stated that extra time and effort were being "donated" for soloists, many of those lessons were still conducted in shared private sessions despite being included in our regular tuition. I was genuinely excited for Taylor to have a dance studio for local children, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Every child deserves a positive, supportive, and encouraging environment where they can grow both as dancers and as individuals. Unfortunately, that was not our experience here. I would strongly encourage parents of young dancers to carefully consider all options before enrolling.

They both are also en pointe in the advanced classes through the ballet conservatory. My youngest had the lead last ballet performance. Finding a place that mastered tap, jazz and ballet was tough to find but we did. My eldest daughter now works there as an assistant/teacher and loves it!
