We ordered a TV Stand from Amazon and I paid extra for the professional assembly. Considering I cant even put together Ikea furniture without it being loose and unstable or a collection of extra screws its worth the extra price. Update: I had to hire a HVAC professional to come fix the mess ITUPP made. ITUPP messed up the wire connection. Our AC system had some modifications and some of the wires were not of the standard color. ITUPP technicians ASSUMED everything was standard and they were not able to figure out what really happened. Shame on you ITUPP for not knowing anything about HVAC and wasted my time and money. Shame on you ITUPP for blaming my AC system, such a lack of professionalism. When you mess up, you shirk and pass the buck. Good strategy. Bear in mind guys, these people don't always know what they are doing. If you are not sure whether your system is "standard", better avoid them at all costs. One more update: Here is the email reply ITUPP sent to me just now (took them 2 full business days to respond): As you stated we came twice and confirmed that the Ecobee thermostat works correctly because the heating and fan is working currently. There might be an issue with your AC unit that would not let it start. If we go back there the third time and try to replace it the old thermostat would not be able to turn on the AC unit ether. It's out of our scope when it comes to your AC unit, as we only install the thermostat and that went correctly the first time, and confirmed again the second visit. Please contact HVAC repair company (not us) to check and repair your AC unit. -------------------------------------------------------------- OK OK you guys did nothing wrong. Terrible customer service. I ordered the service on Sep 26th 2016, and they failed to follow up with me. I had to constantly call them, or email them to know what was going on. Every time I called I was told to describe the service I needed, which I did every single time. They asked me when I would be available and then they would set up an appointment; However, they never showed up. They would tell me a tech would confirm with me for the appointment. Never happened. This kept happening until today when I asked them if I should cancel the service. They said yes, I should cancel the service because they don't do hard drive swaps for Macbooks. Even though that was in the first email I sent them with all the details. They could've told me they do not do ssd swaps the very next day after I ordered the service, but they didn't. I kept repeating myself in every call telling them I needed to switch my current hard drive with a new ssd. They were incapable of letting me know for two weeks that they do not have the capacity to do that. They just wasted my time. I even talked to a tech and told him what I needed and he was unable to inform me that they can't do a ssd swap. It's a shame that Amazon associates with such an incompetent and inefficient company. They don't even know what service they offer. Their staff is completely unqualified, and they do not know how to properly offer customer service. Waste of time. read more

My laptop stopped working and this guy replaced my hard drive with what he called "SSD", after an hour he installed all the programs I asked for and I left straight to my office to continue my work. The next week I ordered a desk from Amazon and to my surprise THE SAME guy showed up and assembled it quickly. Smooth and Fast service for both PC and office furniture. Amazon offered their assembly service. Appointment was confirmed via email. Technician has to call on the day but couldn't reach us. Phones not on us. We were home waiting for the doorbell, doing shit around the house. Manager at office explained the situation. Technician would come back after next the job. After many calls and false promises, they couldn't figure out a way to work us back into their schedule on the same day. We decided that the next morning would work. They didn't show up the next day. The ITUPP lady was filled with excuses and we had a total of 20+ calls. Finally, when posed an option of sending someone right away or cancelling the order, ITUPP chose to cancel the order. Amazing service, right? Thank #firstworldproblems for Amazon. Their service lady (probably in South East Asia) was able to find us another local service company. Sorry this review was dry and lacking comedy. I'd like to spend the least time possible with ITUPP. read more

[Okay, I'm looking at this Yelp account and what's the deal with all these reviews from people with no friends & like 2 reviews? Everyone here seems to be fly-by-night Yelpers?] I bought the service off of Amazon & I'll admit, this engagement started out a bit shaky - there appears to be an issue with their operator/appointment manager. I got a call from someone that told me he could build our basketball hoop the next day and asked if I was available. I had to stop him and ask who he was, what his company's name was, what his phone number was, etc. The next day, the worker came by to do the assembly. It was a different person than who had made the appointment: The worker's name was Candler and I have to say, the guy was just straight up excellent. Professional, good natured, quiet and surprisingly fast. He came prepared with a ton of tools, got to work on the job, and was done in about an hour. Then, as a bonus, he fixed a problem with our garden hose that we've had for a year, no charge. Honestly, the best money I've spent on professional services in a while. There's not much else to say, other than to provide the back story of how I ended up with ITUPP. ITUPP wasn't actually the first Amazon service I'd hired to build this basketball hoop. The first company, I got through Amazon, "Ultimate Home Services" (not affiliated with ITUPP), called and told me that they'd have to charge an additional $60 above Amazon's $110 fee because "it was a big hoop" and they needed a 2nd worker. I was WTF-level annoyed but I'm busy so I said, "Whatever, just get down here". They arrived and worked on the hoop for 2 hours before they claimed a bolt was broken and left. In reality, they broke the bolt during assembly and left me stuck with finding a replacement. To make matters worse, they ended up wiping the entire transaction from Amazon so I couldn't provide any "critical feedback". I actually called them back to have them complete the job but they never returned my call. You'll note that I stated above that Candler was done in an HOUR by himself, without any such $60 additional charge. Needless to say, I'll be bypassing ITUPP's operator & calling Candler directly from now on for any home assembly needs. Well done, Candler. 5-stars. read more

As soon as i called, the lady who answered my call was super friendly and very helpful with the scheduling and pricing. She scheduled me the same day which im so happy about because my grandma works at home and she needs her internet 24/7. I kept emailing ITUPP through Amazon for a follow up service appointment for my elliptical machine (less than a month after the original service). ITUPP just stopped responding to me when I tried to schedule a follow up. About 5 emails have gone unanswered from the past 2 weeks. Amazon now has to find another company to service my elliptical. It's a shame, because ITUPP has potential, but the lack of courteousness and customer service won't ever have me using ITUPP again. read more

Avoid this company at all costs. I purchased the assembly package of an exercise bike through amazon, who contracts with them. I received an email confirmation of date/time (4 hour window) rep would be at my house. I took the day off work to wait for four hours - no show. I called Amazon, who put me in touch with them. Customer service person couldn't care less that I had just sat for four hours - was rude and just kept repeating that it wasn't their fault. Never offered a solution; said she would call back about scheduling. No surprise - no phone call. Just wasted an entire day. Sounds like the actual reps are good from the other reviews, but I'd completely avoid them unless you have the time to sit around all day for someone who may or may not show up. If you order through Amazon, you do have the option of asking for a different assembly provider -- I'd do it. Don't use them! read more
