Visited Ivanhoe Park Brewing last night for their movie night, and it immediately became my new favorite brewery in town! Their outdoor movies are well done with a large inflatable screen and a loud speaker system. They have some chairs and tables set up outside for the movies, but I recommend bringing your own chairs if you're not arriving early. Because the movie nights take place in the parking lot, plan on finding parking in the surrounding area and walking a bit. I enjoyed sampling a variety of their different beers and loved that they had four different sours to try, which I learned are all made with real fruit purée. The staff was very helpful, informative, and a huge part of why myself and my friends enjoyed our visit so much. Looking forward to returning soon! read more

The only knock I have for this brewery is they do not a large selection for stouts and porters which are my go-tos. We love it here!!! It was a first time coming here after having their beers in cans at other bars. We thought, "Let's go to the source!" We were greeted immediately and self-sat at the bar. They offer loads of samples and are super knowledgeable about their product. Our brewer was Frankie and he was amazing! Super friendly and made us laugh the whole night. We tried the Park Hopper and bought some Toboggan home. Prices are super affordable and the brews are super refreshing. Everything on their menu tasted exactly what was described. We're definitely going to make it out here more often. The place is clean, very well stocked and a comfortable place to relax. It's not a loud environment which is nice! I came to Ivanhoe Park Brewing Co. on a Sunday and it must have been K-9 Sunday because there were fur babies everywhere.  It is a small venue in a warehouse next to the train tracks and across from Ivanhoe Park in Orlando Florida. There is plenty of seating both inside and out.  The outside seating is covered which is a definite plus.  On this Sunday they had a food truck which had sandwiches. The service was great.  I was lucky enough to get Kaiti, she was absolutely wonderful.  She took the time to pour me a flight of all the beers they had on tap, eleven in all.  They were slammed and she took the time to pour the flights.  I really appreciated that.  That was really 5 STAR SERVICE because I am sure many other servers would have said no.  So glad she didn't.  I think that little gesture of kindness made the beers taste even better. The patrons were friendly and I was sitting next to two couples who were doing a bottle tasting of an Imperial stout.  They gave me a taste.  WINNING!!!  That was the dessert for my 11 course beer meal. THE BEERS: Park Hopper  Pilsner 5% ABV... If you like Pilsners it is good.  Puts a Miller, Bud or Coors to shame in a good way. Local IPA 4% ABV... American IPA... a light IPA.  It is subtle and delicious.  It is an IPA for folks who don't like IPAs. Joyland IPA 6% ABV... American IPA... okay, this is an IPA  lovers IPA and I loved it. I Choose Me... American IPA 5.5% ABV... this one surprised me.  It is a sour IPA.  The hops are super muted and after the first sip which perplexed me,  it grew on me. The beertender said they made this one with passion fruit. Toboggan Blonde Ale 5% ABV... their version of Miller, decent if you like that Pineapple Toboggan Blonde Ale 5% ABV... D-lish-us!!!! They made good use of the Toboggan Blonde because this was AWESOME SAUCE! Bungalow Belgian Witbier 4% ABV... banana cloves and wheat goodness Urayasu Rice Lager 5.6% ABV... this lager was wasted on me.  I didn't get it.  Guavacation Berliner Weiss Sour 3.6% ABV... there is a special place in my heart for Sours and this was not an exception.  One of my favorites here.  The guava is pronounced.  FIRE! Ball Drop (2021) Plum Sour Ale 6.2% ABV... I actually could taste the plum, and they tasted like under ripe plums.  It was a great sour. Peach Please Fruited Sour 8% ABV... I didn't care for it. Tasted like perfume to me. The beer here is top notch.  The beer journey was adventurous.  And I almost liked all the beers which is rare for me.  Still I would frequent Ivanhoe Park Brewing Co. again.  Maybe tomorrow if I'm lucky.  No matter what, I am going to make it a regular stop for when I visit Orlando. read more

Ivanhoe is one of my favorite breweries in Orlando. I love the outdoor patio as a spot to hang out. There are always a ton of events going on, so keep an eye on their Instagram. The monthly 407 Food Fair is really popular and well attended and a great opportunity to check out some local food trucks. When it comes to the beers, Guavacation is my favorite of the bunch. It is a sour, so if you aren't in to that you probably won't like it. The blonde ale is always a solid choice. Some of my other favorites include: Blood Orange Belgian Wit and the Michelada Lager. If you are worried about parking, there is a lot nearby. If you are coming during a larger event like 407 Food Fair, parking can be a little tough. read more

Always has amazing events going on like the 407 Food Fair, which we've been to twice. We've also been for the Drag Queen bingo with Tora Himan. We went for the Haunted Mansion theme. I just began coming here weekly for their run club on Wednesdays, and it's such a fun experience! We do our run, come back and have some beer as a giant group. The environment is so fun and lively, and the beer tastes great. It's not hard to find parking in the area and the bathrooms are always clean, the workers are very friendly! Recently went here to play Haunted Mansion Drag Bingo. I love that they offer all these events. You can get some yummy craft beer and be entertained. They have some snacks there if you are not able to get dinner. They offer pizza and pretzel bites with cheese. Sometimes they have food vendors outside so always check event details first. If beer isn't your jam, they serve ciders & sparkling wine. Service is always friendly when I go there. Depending on size of crowd will determine how quickly you get your drink. Not bad. The staff were very nice and acknowledged us when we came in the door. At the door was a wood barrel with fliers and pamphlets about the brew loop and new shuttle that runs regularly between 5 local breweries. The atmosphere was open and bright with a rustic modern décor. The walls were shiplap, with awesome natural wood carved tables. There was a garage door that opened up to a small outdoor patio. In the corner were more barrels with games that sat on top. A large window facing the train tracks the provided views of the occasional Amtrak train that came through. Yes, it was a bit loud. Just have another beer and forget about it. On to the beers. To make the most of my time there I ordered a flight consisting of (1) Ball Drop (2020) Farmhouse Ale (2) Viking Sunrise Pale Ale (3) Onyx (Nitro) Stout and (4) Toboggan Blonde Ale. I found all of the ales to be very easy to drink. None of them stood out as being great, but they were ok. I am not a dark beer drinker, but I have recently been branching out and I think I am starting to develop an appreciation for them. I actually enjoyed the stout that was more complex and had good coco and caramel flavors. It is a beer I nurse and appreciate. The brewery offers yoga once a month for $10, and themed trivia game nights. They are dog friendly, and have free Wi-Fi. There is a decent size parking lot, appropriate for the size of the brewery. Though there wasn't any there during my visit, they do have food trucks. It is defiantly worth visiting and experiencing. read more

A decent brewery in a ever growing sea of breweries. The staff is extremely friendly and offered me a sample of a few favorites before I settled on their Bungalow Belgian Witbier. The beers are decent and perhaps that is where the problem lies. Again, Orlando has a huge craft beer and micro brewery scene and while this beer is decent, it does little to rise above the ocean of beer selections that Orlando has to offer. The staff is friendly and the exterior is inviting (the inside is just ok), but again, but will this only decent beer give me a reason to return when there are far better choices in the area? read more

The food fair we attended last weekend was a great start to what will definitely be my ongoing patronage! Drinks come in multiple sizes, and the more popular brews are bottled for convenience! My favorite was by far the passion fruit IPA. The location is really conveniently placed for bar hopping, food, niche shopping sprees, or a walk along the lake. Great spot for a beer! Had no idea this place existed. It's tucked back behind some businesses so you can't see it from the road. There was plenty of parking and a food truck in the lot. Score! I was immediately greeted upon entry. I sat at the bar and was handed a menu. I went with the pbcv since it has all the flavors I like. It was tasty. I'm not a fan of fancy glassware though. It makes me Nervous about tipping it over! So for my next beer, I had the Tupac Shaporter. What a Weird name. But it came in a real glass- yay! I was surprised they have popcorn! Three different flavors. I'll have to try that next time. I love popcorn. Lots of t shirts on sale as well as growlers AND GROWLER koozies! How fun. They also serve wine and non alcoholic beverages like Boylan sodas. Bathrooms are clean. Patio seating is nice. Great spot for day drinking or an after work wind down. read more

I'm updating my review after another visit. I appreciated that the owner reached out to me. After several months, I decided to give this place another chance. I was on Facebook and saw that there was a yoga class on a Sunday morning. I love yoga so that's what brought me back. When I got there, staff from the brewery checked me in right away. I had an awesome yoga session on the patio- it was a beautiful day and the sun was shining. Afterward, we all went inside for our complimentary beer (also had mimosas as an option). The bartenders were super helpful and took care of me right away. The beer itself was great. I ordered the ball drop (IPA) and really enjoyed it. Overall a great experience and I feel comfortable saying that I will re The first time I came here was during opening weekend and it was a good time. So I decided to return. My husband and I stopped by on Sunday afternoon- not busy at all. We got seats at the bar and no one acknowledged us. I'm a patient person so I have it a few minutes. But then a couple walked in the door and was immediately acknowledged. My husband and I gave it another minute or two... but when we were still ignored, we got up and left. Not really sure why we were being treated like second class citizens. We weren't loud, belligerent, or rude. I really wanted to like this place but I can't give them my business anymore. read more

Ivanhoe is a cool brewery with nothing out of the ordinary but some of the best food trucks around the city. This makes Ivanhoe a good choice for grabbing some grub with a pint, or two. Ivanhoe also has a pretty nice space, and there are TV screens if you need a TV screen in your life. But what I like the most is the outdoor area, which is somewhat quiet for a central location as is the corner of Virginia and N. Orange. And you can hang out with the food truckers, who are mostly imports from distant lands and are very interesting people. The food scene starts with good food trucks, so promoting food trucks equals better food in Orlando, and we really need better food in Orlando. Come and get some good beer, nothing crazy like sours or mega bitter IPA's, and get some food. read more

Saturday night, this brewery is a little off the beaten path from the other bars in the area. Nonetheless the space is large and inviting, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Draft list is about ten deep with a solid overall variety. Settled on the "Joyland American IPA" ($7) - an incredible hop-forward ale that's got a crisp citrus finish. Not many items for food, so settled on one of their popcorn options - Buffalo Cheddar ($6). A densely packed paper bag of semi-tangy popcorn that's more than enough for one person. Bartenders here are quick and got me settled up fast. Prices are higher than their nearby counterparts, but solid stop in the area. read more

I pulled up to this place on St. Paddy's day first time at this place the atmosphere was amazing the service was fantastic. But the beers were garbage, absolute dookey don't get me wrong it might be great for some people. Since me and my buddy are beer Cicerone's it was very tough to get one down. Even the Sunset Haze which was recommended by one of the servers ended letting us down. The pungent smell of heavily worn sneakers was overwhelming as you took a sip, just to get a short wonderful crispy orange taste that's quickly ruined by bland fragrant after taste. For the most part the beers tasted very boring and water downed. After we left we stopped by GBs Bottle Shop and found none of Ivanhoe's crafts in there. I don't think we'll be coming back unless we get dragged back here. read more

Not too shabby! Admittedly their selection is not as plentiful as other breweries but what they do have on tap is pretty good. Actually, this was the first place I ever ordered a sour beer and found that I really like it. I find that I mostly drink them in the summer time as they are reminiscent of lemonade (at least to me it is). The Guavacation is therefore my favorite here. It's very tasty and refreshing. Before Covid they had live music sometimes, and you were welcome to bring food. The outdoor area is spacious and relaxing. Service has always been attentive and courteous during my visits. read more

5 Stars for satisfying beer, a great location, food trucks, and friendly staff! So, here's the thing, I'm not the biggest beer drinker. This review may be more for the casual beer person who is more concerned with ambiance and a cool place than meticulously rating the beer. First thing, I love the location. This brewery is right in the heart of Ivanhoe and across from all the new development, so I imagine it's going to be around for a loooong time! There are already so many great beer bars and eateries in the area and one more is always welcome. The other day I was with friends just hopping from one place to the next along Virginia. Besides that, the building is new and clean with a moderately sized interior with bar and tables as well as a patio, along which the food trucks set up shop. Yes, it's hot out there in the summer, so I recommend making this your first spot of the night to grab a seat inside and order some drinks. But should it be a cool day or maybe you're up for some sweat, check out the covered, outdoor patio for a chill vibe. A friend of mine set up a brewery tour for us the first time we went and it was great hearing from head brewer Aaron Anderson first-hand. Their website has a form to fill out to book a brewery tour, and though it's small back there, it's worth it to get to know them and their beers a little better. In terms of the beers themselves, I had a flight and enjoyed most of them. But, again, it's all a matter of personal preference and I don't fancy myself an astute judge of beer quality. My friends enjoyed the hell out of the beers though, so that makes me think I wasn't way off! Enjoy the location and the great beer while supporting a cool local brewery!
