This is one of my favorite places to go because the beer is amazing. I have not been there since they expanded and it's nice to have the extra space and added food. We went last night, Friday night, to get a beer and wind down from the work week. As we were walking in the music was loud and obnoxious, either grunge or acid rock, I don't know, but I made the comment that maybe it's not as bad inside. I was wrong, it was loud and obnoxious music. We decided to try the peanut butter porter which was very tasty and smooth. We sat down to drink it but the music was so irritating we drank it fast because we could not relax. We chose not to eat or buy another beer. We would have opted to go outside but again, it was even louder. My suggestion to management, please play music that doesn't overpower talking, isn't blasted outside, and maybe add some large TVs for sports. You missed a huge opportunity to show the FIFA games. Fun times last weekend at Bowigens Beer Company with my son. He enjoyed a flight of different brews, which allowed him to explore a variety of flavors. I opted for the Excelsior Imperial Mango, and it was absolutely delicious--refreshing with a perfect balance of mango sweetness. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the bartender was so friendly, which made our experience even better. I loved that they were playing Raiders of the Lost Ark on their tv because me and my son are film geeks. Kicked off a convo about the greatest directors of all time. Small but cozy taproom at a strip mall. The vibe was super chill and the music playing over they're sound system was all 80s. What a treat! Absolute terrible bartender and terrible attitude. My wife and I have the pub pass books which include 1 free beer each. This was my interaction with the bartender: Me: Can I use my wife's book?" Bartender: "Sure you can have a free beer *sarcasm*". I hate these books. If you have a Pub Pass book and expect to be able to use it here (because Bowigens is listed as a participating brewery within the book) without a hassle, I would recommend coming somewhere else. Bowigens is listed as a brewery that you can get a free beer at in the Orlando Pub Pass, so I came with my husband who wanted to use a pass he had and the bar tender said to him sarcastically/in an annoyed tone, "sure I'll give you a free beer". She also mentioned hating these books and wanting to set the customers on fire that use the books. She made my husband feel bad for using a Pub Pass coupon at a location that's listed within the book. If this brewery doesn't want to be a part of the Pub Pass promotion, they should simply turn down Pub Pass's offer to include them in the book. read more

I wouldn't call myself a regular but I have been here on numerous occasions since they opened and what I love about Bowigens is the consistent quality of their beer and the helpfulness / friendliness of the staff. There are always a decent range of options on tap to suit any beer style preference. They will take the time to talk to you about the beer and help you make the right choice if you are unsure. Some of my favorites are the 7 Layer Stout, Bomb Pop, Hefe'n Awesome and the Omne Trium Perfectum. We stopped here recently after eating across the street at Alex's Fresh Kitchen (awesome spot). They have a good beer selection and friendly bartenders happy to answer questions or give recommendations. There was a good amount of seating and I was enjoying the music they had playing while we enjoyed our beers (2000s rock/emo bringing me back to my teen years haha). Took my wife and daughter to get their nails done down the road and knew I had to waste some time but didnt wannta get fucked up within an hour so then I remembered about this place that I wanted to check it out! Very happy I did and every single beer was so good. Kind of surprised since its in a shopping center all the way at the end so it doesnt seem like it would be cared for . I had a flight of 5. 407 Pils Regular, Avalon Park, Premium Dancer, BirdLaw, and the 7 Layer Stout. All very very good and def need to head back for more than just a flight, maybe 3. Great selection of beer! This was my first time here. I tried coming here 2 times before during the start of covid but they weren't serving and then they only did take out. This was the first time I was able to go in. They have some outdoor seating in the front. The location is convenient, right off Red bug lake road and semoran road, in a shopping center. I tried a flight of beers and they let you choose and rate each of the beers as well. The presentation was beautiful and they organize it in the correct order that the beers should be drank (drunk?). Cute place, decent beer. I stopped here while waiting for a pizza order from next door. They had three sours on tap which made me happy - I'm a sour beer lover and they've been hard to find in Orlando this year. I thought the flavors were pretty creative and brave, although for the most part they were fun to try once but not something I would buy again. The jalapeño hibiscus was a very interesting flavor combination, very herbal and savory. I tried a few others and thought they were all ok - nothing I wanted to take with me. Went here for a trivia night with friends. It is a smaller bar with limited seating, so if you go for a trivia night, or other event, I suggest you get there early for a table or bar seating! They have clearly listed out specials and tap offerings on large chalkboards behind the bar. There are also menus available. Staff was quick to get us our orders and the whole place was clean and open. They have a booth area up front to the right when you walk in that allows for group seating. Several high top tables with chairs, and then the bar area with stools. It's definitely a drink and hang out place with a fun vibe. Check out there event schedule as they do things weekly. Easter weekend I did a visit to friends in Casselbury Florida which is a little north of Orlando. I planned out all the breweries I was going to visit in Orlando and guess what, I didn't visit any on my list. One reason why is my friend who is a local turned me on to Bowigens. Not sure what Bowigens stands for, but in my experience it must mean "Great Beer." And I really mean great. I ordered a flight of everything they had. 13 drafts total. They had a lot of Belgians which made me happy. And many of the beers were high in ABV which made the experience even more wonderful. It is a small place in a strip mall with a bar area, inside seating and some tables outside. Got there on a Friday for happy hour and the place was full. It was raining and we had to sit outside because the place was so full. If you are in the Orlando area I recommend this spot. If you love beer you won't be disappointed. I guarantee it. read more

Sooooo... My man to my right, Adam Sandler to my left, and a house draft sitting pretty in front! Me and Boyfriend had an awesome time here and learned oh so much about beer that no one had ever explained to us. It is smaller than some breweries and being in a shopping plaza also makes it unique. I appreciated the homey style. It was quite and soothing as opposed to some other breweries in the area, you know the ones. However, it is far off from us, if we weren't visiting because of the Central Florida Ale Trail, I don't know if we ever would have recognized that it existed. The inside of this place is very small but cozy. They have a small outdoor area too. Staff here are really nice! I've been here a few times and they take great care of you. I follow Bowigens on Facebook; and, new we had to go back, so I could try some new beers. So, when our daughter needed to do some shopping in the area, my wife and I decided to stop in. I started with a flight of four beers, including: Cran you Czech the Thymer; Rochelle Rochelle; Sirius Black Currant; and Squirrel Sisters. All were excellent, with my favorites being the sour beers. Once again I found myself at a beer company as a non-beer drinker BUT I am happy to inform y'all that I found a cider that I like! It was called banana bits I think. It was strawberry banana flavor a bit sweet and a bit sour. I don't know why places don't believe in selling Riesling as it's my go-to wine but it seems to be a common theme, this place included. They do sell other wines though! With that being said, I asked the bartender which cider she recommends and went with it and actually really liked it and was a fair price. I came on a Tuesday night for some trivia fun with a group of friends. I have been a fan of tasty trivia at the different locations I've been and this one didn't disappoint either... well except for the fact that the 90s themed trivia didnt include any Britney, N'sync, or BSB but I forgive you. The atmosphere includes indoor/outdoor seating and community seating so be ready to make friends if you don't have a large group. They don't sell food but they allow you to order food from other places. There's a pizza place next door and we chose to door dash on this particular night. The decor is pretty basic with some music icons and a random golden snitch for all the Harry Potter lovers. They did decorate for Halloween which is fun and I hope they do for Christmas too! read more

First time here from cocoa beach area, have to say really freaking cool, get some beer(good draft) and a bunch of different kinds of food in the same building. I've been here a few times and I love this little neighborhood bar. In reality, it's the tasting room of a fairly new brewery in Casselberry. Yes, there is a brewery in Casselberry, and they make some darn good beer! On wednesdays they usually have a special randall, and most days they have something on special. You can bring in food from the pizza place next door, or anywhere else you please, sit down at the bar, or grab a table, and enjoy your food with some delicious beer. Of course they also have growlers at a reasonable price. I recommend keeping an eye on their social media for any news, it's definitely worth checking out. Props to such. Small brewery being unsourced and having a incredible assortment of beers. I love how all the beef were listed on their board in fun colors and styles. There was a funk to this place and a creativity to the beers they offered. Fun flavors, unique styles, crazy names. I didn't like their amber ale much but enjoyed their tangerine wheat a lot. My fiancé had a 10% pineapple beer that was super refreshing and didn't have that weird tang from being high alcohol. They do focus on IPAs a lot which are not my style.
