The shop had a unique look--more like a biker bar than a typical barbershop, which caught my attention. Unfortunately, my experience took a turn once I was in the chair. The barber, Seth Braden, rushed through my cut in about 15 minutes, which was already a red flag, and the result was the worst haircut I've ever had. The fade was uneven, the tape line was crooked, and he even used scissors--something no barber has needed for my hair before. He also mentioned he didn't have time for my beard, which was honestly a relief given the poor job on the cut. For a $35 haircut, plus a tip, I expected quality, but this experience was disappointing. Based on my visit, I can't recommend this barber.

I showed up at 4:50 pm, ten minutes before closing, hoping they'd let me in. Two barbers greeted me--a girl giving someone the royal treatment and a guy chilling in his chair. When I asked if they could take one more, he just grinned and said, 'Absolutely!' At that moment, I knew I was in the right place. As soon as I sat down, I realized this wasn't your typical barbershop; it felt more like a lounge with a bar. Nate, the barber, turned out to be from Miami, just like me! We hit it off right away. Then, he offered me a free beer or water, which really sealed the deal. I mean, where else can you get a fresh cut and a drink to go with it? Nate asked if I wanted to see some of his work, and after checking out his photos, I handed over my hair (and my trust) like it was a sacred offering. His technique was something else he barely touched my face with the clippers, and at one point, I had to double-check he was even cutting anything! They took about 18 minutes for what was supposed to be a 30 minute haircut, because they had someone else waiting they needed to get to.
