It also has a working water fountain and spout if needed. Reserve it through the city if you can; it's the best one. I love have much variety and height this playground has. My children have so much fun here. It also feels safer so I feel confident letting my 3 year old wandering and climb on it as well. There is plenty of grass area for dogs to run and yard games to play on, if that's what suits you as well. Very well kept and beautiful park. I just wish I knew more about who Margaret Wines was whom this park is honoring.

Practically had it all to ourselves. What a nice stroll. Sidewalk is clear of snow, except for the bridges. This truly is one of American Fork's best parks. Oh yes, I almost forgot. Yes there was flowing water in the creek. You know, the Dry Creek! And I have no idea why it says "Closed Now" online. Parking lot is open.

It's one of our go-to family gathering, birthday party, and picnic parks.

I wouldn't recommend the pond for swimming , but it's great for some casual fishing and watching ducks swim around. There are lots of shaded bench areas as well and also areas I've seen people set up hammocks to relax. Quite easy to get to and free street parking. A nice little getaway from the hustle and bustle of Saratoga, Lehi and American Fork.

A pavilion is adjacent to the park as well-perfect for birthday parties. And a parking lot with ample space for all the park goers prevents street crowding for the neighbors that share the road with the park.

Who doesn't love the smell of fall leaves? There is a good amount of open space for running around-and a modest hill that I'm sure hosts some young sledders in the winter. That's my kind of sledding! If you're hosting a party or a picnic, there is a nice pavilion available. A decent sized playground area will keep the kids entertained and the gender neutral bathrooms are much appreciated! Up for a game of volleyball? Sure, you can do that too! Of all the great features of this park, my favorite is the Free Little Library up at the top of the hill. Not technically a part of the park, but I'm gonna include it anyway. Take a book, leave a book. Sit under a beautiful tree and read. I can't think of a better way to spend an afternoon.

There is lots of shade provided from the trees, and there's a cute little stream that runs along next to it! There is also an area to play "frisbee golf" within the park. However, the goals are just painted poles with numbers attached. This park is perfect for playing sports, hosting a family reunion, eating a picnic, or resting in the shade on a Sunday afternoon. It's also a fun area to walk around, as there are 2 bridges over the stream, and the Cedar HIlls Parkway Trail runs right through it. It's nothing to be utterly amazed by, but it's a nice park for what it's worth.

Not only is it a…read morevery short drive for us (not exactly close enough to walk), but you can see the gorgeous mountain range, you're close to the lake, there are little water reservoirs (?) to stroll around, and these soccer fields are giant!!! Parking is plentiful and easy-peasy. Luckily there weren't any soccer teams playing on the soccer field we posted up at, so we were able to take up a lot of space. I liked how there were some hilly parts on the side of the field that gives my dog some more interesting sprints. The grass was nice and fluffy, so I laid down for a bit and watched the clouds go by. Lovely breeze and people-watchin'. FYI - this is where the paved Jordan River Parkway (trail) starts/ends. I hit a dead end when I biked here without the pup. Go West, and I promise there is plenty of paved road with beautiful views to keep you goin (I believe it goes for 40+miles!!) You follow the river and can look at the mountains while passing the plentiful trampolines in people's backyards. This will be a summer fave for me (and my pup).

SPACE. 28 acres, to be exact. I counted four (4!) full-sized soccer fields (with official-size goal posts), two fishing ponds, clean rest rooms, about 2.5 miles of perfect strolling along the Utah Lake Parkway trail, and easy access to the lake. North Lake isn't a playground park or really a picnic park. It's an outdoor sports park, and hiking park, and a great view park. And oh what park it is!
