I laughed, roared, snickered, choked back tears of sadness. As this was my first visit, you can be assured I'll be back. Get there early. You are in a residential area and must find on street parking. Bring cash for snacks. Also, there was a spontaneous auction of a handcrafted Repertory Theater mascot to raise funds. While in Waterford I saw an extremely diverse batch of plays (in terms of style, content, and execution), a handful of so-new-they-wrote-the-music-yesterday musicals, and all kinds of special panels and events -- all worth the price of admission. The staff at the O'Neill were beyond friendly, and the creative team we worked out for my play were top-notch. My room in the cottage did what it needed, and a bit more by being a mere 50 feet from Blue Gene's Pub. The productions at the O'Neill are workshops, meant to help their creators refine and develop the work. Consequently, the actors have scripts in hand and the design is only sketched out. I thought this meant things would be pretty rudimentary, but I was surprised time and again at how there were just enough elements present to allow me to imagine a full production. The work they do is truly remarkable. I haven't a negative thing to say. If you can make it up, catch a show. You won't be disappointed.

Great and quick service! The place was well-kept and clean for a movie theater, with the floors and amenities in good condition.

I parked in front, but there are two free parking lots within walking distance to the theater The theater is in the heart of Stoney Creek. Walking distance to the beach and a few small local restaurants. They had a children's show this morning that was $25. This is a good way to get interested in going to the theater. I hope it's successful because it's an asset to our town and the shorelines community.

We still joke about the "Mini Cine" now that we're grown up and scattered across the country. It doesn't really compete with the bigger cinemas like Showcase or AMC. But that's not its intended market. Its niche is that it shows slightly older movies (movies released weeks ago) for a discounted price. Cine 1-2-3-4 is the area's only remaining "bargain" theater. Well, I haven't visited this place for years, up until two weeks ago. Boy was I disappointed. I might have been able to overlook the dimly lit and unkept parking lot and the uncomfortable seats if only the price of my ticket was much less. My price was $9 . I was surprised. And it's Cash Only. That's only $1 less than the bigger cinemas. Big woop-de-do. In my opinion, it's not worth the extra risk of having your car stolen (the cinema is right next to the "projects"). So the extra nicities of the other large cinemas are probably worth an extra dollar. They have better seating, better projectors, better parking, etc.. Typically I go to the Regal Cinemas in Branford, but this one time I wanted to watch a particular movie that was released months ago and only Cine 1-2-3-4 was playing it. That's really the only reason I will go to this cinema from now on. Its discounted price isn't really an attraction for me.
