Explained everything to the detail, any questions, and any doubts were immediately answered. I felt like I was a guest at someone's house! Felt comfortable, and the entire process of the cleaning of my teeth was smooth, and thank god not at all painful! Upon arriving, it was clearly called out that the practice had changed hands as there's typically holdovers in terms of staff. Dental hygienist who did my cleaning was thorough and couldn't have been nicer. I asked her about an almost-cavity that my previous dentist had been monitoring, and she said it was still a non-issue. The dentist (Eastern European guy, not Zedeker) comes in and magically finds a cavity that she allegedly didn't see. Didn't offer much explanation other than it wasn't the same one I asked about. They insisted I come back to fill the cavity later and had me make an appointment which was weird as typically a dentist will just handle a cavity on the spot. A lot of this didn't sit right with me, so I went to another dentist to double check. Turns out there was no new cavity where they said, and even the old almost-cavity was so small that they would never recommend touching it unless it grew. Maybe they thought I would just allow them to make more money off of me, and do unnecessary (potentially harmful) work in the process. I canceled my appointment and will never return. Maybe this practice was once good and honest, but that clearly isn't the case anymore. Plenty of dentists around who don't pull crap like this. No wonder they needed to buy an existing practice.

They preferred to call back and confront the patient with "quality assurance" issues to benefit their staff instead of calling to inform of appointment changes or cancellations. In reality, they are working with an automated system and blaming it for all appointment mix-ups. The team is unreliable, lacks empathy and is biased.

In my previous dental office in Manhattan cleanings were done by an hygienist. I complained to Dr.Yen about a front tooth that had rotated and was pressuring the tooth next to it and my top and bottom lips. She referred me to Putman Orthodontics to see what they could do about it. I saw Dr. Lee at P.O. who told me he could not help me and he was going to call Dr. Yen to work out another plan for my case. She also referred me to Valley Endodontics for evaluation because she was not sure if I needed a root canal. The day after seeing Dr. Lee at P.O. I called Precision Arts and I was transferred to Michelle, The office manager, and explained what had happened with Dr. Lee. She told me to call back two days later to speak to Dr. Yen. Two days later I called and Michelle told me I would have to come in to speak to Dr. Yen. I went in the same day to find out the results of her conversation with Dr. Lee and what the plan was to fix the discomfort I had been experiencing. Dr. Yen looked puzzled, obviously she did not have a plan and she did not confirm having discussed my case with Dr. Lee. When I insisted to find out what was the plan she and Dr. Lee had reached during their conversation she abruptly left the office and sent the office manager to escort me out of the office. It is outrageous that an health professional treats a patient this way. I am glad it ended first visit because with this type of treatment it would not last another visit. Any way I was looking for a dentist that could treat any issues that would come up, be sure about what should be done and not give me the run around sending me to other facilities for further evaluations and at the end with no solutions.

Dr. Bassin's wonderful office staff got in touch with me Monday morning and got me in for an…read moreemergency that I had had over the weekend. I had never been to his office, but my own dentist never returned my call. (That's twice, Dr. Lyu!!) Dr. Bassin moves quietly and confidently. He told me I would feel a pinch but I never felt a thing. I honestly could have fallen asleep while he was working on me because none of his movements were jarring or rough. I am appreciative that he got me in, thankful to interact with his lovely office manager, amazed at how painless it was, and grateful his prices are fair because I didn't have my insurance card. I found a wonderful new dentist who has earned my business.

Nothing is a surprise while you're in the chair - he lets you know what will be happening. He is extremely patient and always checks to see if you're okay. Dr. Kaminsky's humor makes going to the dentist very enjoyable! We started off as dentist and patient but the practice feels like an extended family to me now. His office staff is terrible and Michelle puts wrong codes into insurance company so she can try to charge you extra money out of your pocket. Michelle will also try to double charge you for things like numbing cream for your gums or charge different prices, my husband was charged $22 and was charged $35. She also will try and cancel appts you made to squeeze people in without insurance to get the money for big procedures. I have opted to discontinue using the office for future procedures
