I was referred by a friend after seeing a dentist in Merrick that said I needed over $12,000 of work done, but after getting a second opinion from Dr. Rosenzweig I only needed about $600.00 of work. He is an honest guy, well trained, and a real guy you can talk to. He accepts most insurance and if he can't do the work his referrals are amazing specialists that are just as professional and caring.

I recommend them so much that when my boyfriend had insurance that only covered certain dentists that he didn't feel very good about (and I didn't trust that they weren't trying to up-charge him for non-existent needs) I put him on my dental insurance so that he could start going to Innovative Dental. They've done right by him and made him significantly less anxious to go to the dentist despite having to do several procedures including a root canal. Now his teeth are set back on the right path! Back in 2018 my dental insurance changed and I had to go to a nearby dentist practice instead. It was the kind where you never see the same dentist twice. They told me that I had a cavity between my teeth and that I should have flossed. I almost came out of the chair swinging because I floss every night. As I was leaving I heard them upselling expensive toothbrushes in the next room. I then decided to start going back to Innovative Dental even if my dental insurance didn't cover it because I didn't trust those dentists. Dr Mithani is 1000% trustworthy and so gentle with teeth. Plus, he really remembers me, my needs, my mouth so well between visits. I always feel really cared for here :)

He has made so many dental decisions that served in my best interest as the patient, and his philosophy is taking care of the teeth and doing the least work as possible to affect you. He closely monitors any issues and remembers them and always does a superb job on the procedures needed. He's very calm, competent, and clear and actually makes going to the dentist enjoyable :). I allowed him to do two implants on me which ended up failing and he told me he would refund me and never did. One "failed" and one was placed incorrectly! He owes me over $11,000. Mind you he owes me that much but put me into collections during covid over a $200 invoice Dr. Jacobson is extremely untrustworthy. He will act like a friend but he's not. He just wants to charge you and your insurance as much as possible and provide subpar dentistry. The only thing keeping that place afloat is the wonderful dental hygenist and the receptionist. STAY AWAY IF YOU VALUE YOUR TEETH AND MONEY.

Dr. Matlach was the most thorough dentist I have ever been to, and I have been to some amazing dentists. He explained what he was looking at and why he was looking at them. He also showed me some things I could fix cosmetically and assured me my teeth looked great and we only had to do it if I wanted. The hygienist, Genene, was so amazing and gave me a lot of tips on how to care for my teeth and what can affect them. This establishment is amazing and everyone working there was so kind and helpful. I was a happy patient at Ritter Dental in Massapequa for many years up until now. I agreed to a…read moremouth guard for my tmj. Margaret at the front desk submitted authorization to Cigna. After weeks going by when I came back for a cleaning I asked again about a mouth guard and my authorization. Margaret at the front desk resubmitted another authorization for the mouth Guard. Margaret told me my cost was $104 after what Cigna paid. I paid the $104 in full and then they ordered my guard. I asked Margaret twice I'm paid in full correct? she gave me a receipt with paid in full. I then called to see if The guard was in Margaret said yes but I had a balance of $90 more. I said no you said I was paid in full. Margaret then said it's Cigna, thsts yiur insurance company telling us what you owe, and it was also my deductible. I called Cigna myself and to my surprise Dr Ritter office submitted ANOTHER MOUTH GUARD CODE, a more expensive mouth guard and that was why they wanted more money. Cigna also said the first authorization was still good and gave me dates and two different codes that Margaret submitted. My deductible was also already met! I owed nothing more. Margaret and I spoke again and she implied I lied about calling Cigna but that they would waive the $90. I work in the medical world and know plenty about medical billing! Dr. Ritter is committing Fraud! The Ritter team also is committing FRAUD! Margaret you are just as guilty submitting FALSE INFORMATION to the insurance companies. Dr. Ritter is stealing from each and every patient with good dental insurance! Since picking up my mouth guard I recently got a letter in the mail that I was thrown out of the practice. Dr. Ritter you are a disgrace to the Dental world and I will report you to the better business bureau and expose you on every social media platform. You and your whole staff are thieves! If you Go to their website you will see many other patients complained of the exact same billing tactics and once they challenged them, Dr Ritter threw them out of the practice. I'm truly upset and sad that once a good dentist has now become GREEDY AND IS STEALING MONEY FROM HIS PATIENTS AND HAVING HIS UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF COMMIT FRAUD just to MAKE HIM MORE MONEY.
