The cemetery itself is pretty vast. There are not as many statuesque stones as there is at the St. Mary's Cemetery in DC, however, this is still a scenic cemetery and very peaceful despite being next to the Woodrow Wilson Bridge. You will not be able to enter from the backside of the cemetery by Jones Point. It is limited to entering on South Washington Street. I am not sure if this is a pet friendly cemetery, so my best guess is to just not bring the pups.
