Walked in around 8:30pm last night, it was packed and everyone looked like they were having a great time! Apparently Monday nights are Bingo nights and, of course, we joined in on the fun. Everyone was super friendly and playing Bingo was pretty exciting actually lol. Besides the wide variety of beers available, they also have a menu with a good selection of food items that are reasonably priced. Surprisingly, the place is family friendly and kids would definitely love their root beer. I saw an adorable little girl going around helping people by collecting used Bingo sheets. She deserved a tip, haha. Oak Mountain Brewing Company is pretty spacious and would work well for events or work functions. I was too busy playing Bingo last night to check out their upstairs spacing, but it seems like a good area for private parties or just for people watching. I will have to check it out next time!

So as luck would have it there is one three doors down from where I ate... And that's how this all began... I have nothing but good things to say... Immediately greeted by the friendly bar staff... Cozy and welcoming ambience.. Not too big or small... Nice selection of beers... Very informative beer tender... What isn't there to like??? Nothing... This could easily be a five star review and possibly should... But I don't just give those out willy-nilly.. They have to be earned.... I truly believe if I was to return a few more times that extra star would be earned... Until then, stop and get a beer or three here... Cheers..

While it wasn't my favorite, for a brewery it was definitely above average. It was juicy, made to order and fresh. I didn't care for the sauce nor the stringy onions so I would order it plain next time or try something else on the menu. The shoestring fries were well seasoned with something like garlic parmesan. They were my delicious! The staff were friendly and helpful as we placed our orders. This is a cool spot to hang with your friends, drink, eat and watch some sports or watch the trains go by. It has everything you want in a brewery; really good beer, solid food menu, fun vibe and lots to do. The beer: The most important part. I was surprised their beer was as good as it was because their signature is a basic blonde ale. Cahaba has beers that are anything but basic. I got a flight with an African Saison, a Southern Feistbeer, River Haze (hazy IPA) and a blood orange blonde. Everything was delicious. The space is large with lots of picnic tables inside a climate-controlled warehouse, a bunch of video games, pinball machines and skeeball. They distill their own spirits as well and had a cocktail menu featuring those spirits. The full-time food truck outside had a solid looking menu. Sadly, I had eaten before I came because their smashburger and wings looked amazing at the table next to me.

I missed out on the happy hour period but I still enjoyed a few beers and some queso ( added ground beef $2) and chips during my visit. The chips were kind of burnt but still edible. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I don't come to MNB often but I always have a pleasant experience whenever I visit!
