    Smokey Chicken & Bacon Hoagie

This is part of The Backyard which combines a Game Center (mini golf, arcade, pool tables, pinball) with two restaurants - Neighbors and Saw BBQ. You order from a counter, grab your table number and fountain soda, and they bring the food to you. We chose a seat near the pinball. The change machine was out of order and the one pinball game did not work after putting in money, so that part was a bit disappointing. I ordered from the Neighbors menu and had the Smokey Chicken and Bacon Hoagie which came with a bag of kettle chips. The bun is toasted, with a good amount of chicken and bacon combined with a pesto sauce. A very good sandwich even though they were out of my original choice of The Cuban. Food was good, service was great, a little lacking on the games side.

Neighborhood Pie - tomato, mozzarella, salami, pepperoni, ham, Conecuh sausage, bacon, Italian sausage

We came here for a family dinner to celebrate my adult son's birthday before he and my daughter went to a movie at the next door drive-in theater. There are 2 lines for ordering in addition to the bar. The line to the right as you come in allows you to order both the Saw's BBQ menu and pizza menu. The line to the left only has the pizza menu. Since we had already decided on pizza for everyone, we benefitted from the much shorter line for just that menu. There was a pretty good crowd this night so seating was at a premium, especially for outdoor options. My wife & I got the Sausage Pie with Conecuh & Italian Sausage to share. Daughter got the Veggie Pie (spinach, olives, red onion, bell pepper, mushroom, artichokes & tomatoes) and Son the Neighbor's Pie (salami, pepperoni, ham, Conecuh sausage, bacon & Italian sausage). Everyone was pleased with their choices and they arrived to the table quickly. Will definitely return.

This is a pretty cool place to hang out! I came here last week with my boyfriend and his family/friends. I had never heard of it, but they have pizza and a Saw's barbeque here. I had the pepperoni pizza. Delicious! To drink, I had a special frozen drink called the Holiday Ho. It had apple and whiskey in it. It was so strong and really snuck up on me! You only need one! I will have to come back for the barbeque at Saw's!

Great little brewery addition to the Shoppes at Grande River. Kind of surprised that they would add a brewery, but a really great idea. Space is wide open and allows for plenty of social distancing. Staff are really friendly and do a great job of interfacing with the customer and making sure they are taken care of and don't need anything. Really, my only deduct, is that they don't have an expansive selection of their own stuff that they are brewing. Maybe that will come with time. They do have a really good tripel, so I was happy with what I was able to get. Also, they have their own food (I didn't try, but it looked good) and share space with SAWS BBQ (In my opinion, some of the best you can get around and would like to try this location .... soon). Great little stopping off spot to grab something to drink on a hot day of shopping. Check these guys out!

Friday, August 20, 2021 Greeted by Friendly Staff Establishment Clean / Employees Wearing Face Masks Due to CoViD-19 - Customers NOT Required to Wear Face Masks No Line/No Waiting at This Time Arrived/Checked In: 5:23pm Placed Entrée Order: 5:25pm Received Drink: 5:30pm Received Entrée Order: 5:38pm Server was friendly, helpful & knowledgeable about food being offered. Husband ordered the 12" Neighbors Pie. It was topped with Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella, Salami, Pepperoni, Ham, Conecuh Sausage, Bacon, and Italian Sausage. It was hot and every bite delicious. Crust was a typical hand thrown type with a little edge to hold to eat. I ordered a Cahaba Hurricane with a 150 Floater of Rum $11. Delicious. I ordered the 12" Cheese Pie. It's covered in tomato sauce (not too much and not lightly painted on) and a good amount of mozzarella cheese. It also arrived hot & delicious. Crust was a typical hand thrown type with a little edge to hold to eat. I highly suggest you give them a try and stay for a drive-in movie. We're here for the movies Don't Breathe 2 & Escape Room 2: Tournament of Champions on Screen 3.

The food and service were good and the place has a nice vibe. We went on a week night and the place was empty.

Pizza is pretty good here, very chewy dough. The big problem is the service, very unmotivated staff! Slowest bartenders ever!

I was thrilled since I had never been to Red bike coffee and I was curious to see the plants at True. After I placed my crawfish order at the coffee shop, I walked over to True to grab a beer. They never have the best selection but I got a 9.82 two hearted IPA on draft. That's oddly high for a draft beer but whatever! I got annoyed because the lady working swiped my card without asking me if I wanted to leave my tab open or not. Good thing I asked bc she had left it open. We all know an overnight open tab most times result in a fee. I don't think an assumption here was appropriate. I finished up my crawfish and closed that tab and left. I wasn't getting anything else to drink from here. I didn't appreciate the weirdness. I don't know if I'll be back here....

Neither of us had eaten here before, but both had been wanting to try this place out. First and foremost, don't come out in your Sunday's finest, this place is the true definition of Dive Bar. Come as casual as you want and you'll feel comfortable. Only one other person in the place we were able to grab any seat we wanted. The bartender was quick to our table to get drink orders and give us menus. I went for one of the four Grenades they offered - no not a drink it's one of their signature dishes. Think Nachos but with French fries instead of chips. They had a steak offering as well as ground beef, chicken and pork. I went for the Fresh Prince which came piled with steak, grilled onions and bell peppers and queso (added some pico on the side). Really good dish. Flavor of the steak was that of a classic philly cheese steak. Generous portion for the price. Hard to go wrong here, really the hardest decision is which of the four to order. My fiance had the Porky - which simply put was a loaded burger, but it was oh so much more. Topped with slaw and smoked pork, smothered in bourbon BBQ add some cheddar, lettuce, tomato and fried onion straws and you're in burger heaven. Again, the portion was more then generous and full of flavor. Prices are right on point. Service was good and even though they got busier the longer we stayed, we continued to get checked on through the meal. While you wait for your food, the pool was free (not sure if it's that way all the time - but Saturday afternoon it is). We wouldn't hesitate to come back and try this place out and some of the other menu items. Really great food. Great Staff. Great Prices.
