This was an unauthorized withdrawal from my account. I called and owner said she was unaware that happened and replaced it reversing the payment. I was more then unhappy and untrusting of such a business as this should never have occurred. I do not recommend doing business with such a place due to the fact unauthorized funds were transferred from my account. If I were the type to not track my account clearly I would of lost $95.00. Joslynn is beyond amazing! When I first went to her she took the time to have a conversation and…read moreasked lots of questions to see what problems I was having and what could be causing them. I had a lot of digestion issues where after lots of tests and $, I was told by GI specialist that they weren't sure why I was experiencing a lot of pain. I wasn't sure what to expect when I went to Joslynn, but she was so concerned about what was causing my symptoms and not just trying to mask them with medicine. After she had me altar my nutrition - taking out only a FEW items, and incorporating a few others I have felt so much better. She educated me so much about how certain foods can affect me personally and why to avoid them. It makes it so much easier to eliminate one thing if you know why you should and the impact it could have. Beyond nutrition, I've been seeing her regularly on pain management and helping me fix shoulder/back issues. Whenever I visit, she will do a combination of cupping, acupuncture, E stimulation, massage, gua sha etc. She really personalizes it for what's going on. It allows me to keep at the gym 5 times a week with cardio & weight training . The best part is having her tell me why my muscles are tight and exactly what I'm doing wrong / not doing enough. How to describe what Kathy Georgen (owner-proprietress) does? I would classify this as "alternative…read moremedicine". If you are familiar with Reiki Energy Healing, then you have a good start on what Kathy does. (Kathy did start off with Reiki, but then moved into this method, which is based off native Hawaiian beliefs.) Kathy works with making sure your energy flows through all your chakras, removing blocks. This is probably similar to many other energy type healings. When you have an energy block in one chakra, it throws you "off balance". My personal experience with her energy healing was when I had strained my left hamstring due to some over-eager yoga practice. My leg had been off for months and I just couldn't get the pain to go away. It wasn't intense, but it was definitely an on-going discomfort, and prevented me from doing some yoga poses. In one session, Kathy focused on my leg and the pain went completely away and hasn't been back since. (It's been at least a year, more like two.) If you're sensitive to this type of energy healing, you do feel warmth or a slight buzz in the area being worked on. (At least I did.) Kathy also holds workshops and does teacher-training, as well as engaging in other metaphysical activities. Her main area of focus is the energy healing work, however. All in all, it's well worth taking a look at, especially if you feel like you've exhausted "traditional" western based medicine. And while this is "alternative" therapy, I would by no means consider Kathy a stereotypical "granola" type, which is what people are sometimes afraid of with this type of thing.
