Very down to earth, honest, friendly,compassionate and caring. These visits were before surgery. I felt and was able to tolerate my bad knee during treatment but eventually needed a knee scope especially due to a torn meniscus. After surgery (Brian moved on,sorry to see him go) THANK YOU BRIAN. I had Therapist Rebecca S for a few weeks, she was also compassionate, friendly, always smiled likes her work, cares for her patients and was honest and answered any questions I had with dignity. I was sorry to see her move to a different ATI about 1700 miles away, so it would be difficult to continue my treatment with her, I will miss her. Good Luck to you at your new location Rebecca S. So my 3rd and final Therapist /Director was Reena T. Third times a charm right? YES! Reena is phenomenal! Very passionate with her work, enjoys her patients, compassionate and is friendly, always smiles, is funny, answered all my questions and always asked how I was doing. Reena is energetic, knows her stuff and is eager to expose her talent and share with her patients. Although I did not have any therapy with PTA Leslie M, I have had interactions with her and she is wonderful. Wrapping it up (in a polkadot bow) , the staff here at ATI in Grayslake is the "BEST ONE COULD ASK FOR" no matter which therapist you have, they will "WORK U OVER"- (NO PUN INTENDED) to your recovery! They didn't want to accommodate my work schedule. My treatments were because of an automobile accident. When I asked to communicate with my therapist Mark. The front desk girl who does the appointment scheduling didn't allow me to. My last appointment the same front desk girl did my PT when it should have been a licensed PT. I was discharged way too soon. I don't recommend his place for PT. I highly recommend going to Northsore or Northwestern for PT. ATI released me to get paid instead of helping me get back to 100% better.

I've had one knee replacement & was bone on bone in the other knee & my leg was so badly deformed from a collapsed knee, I was in constant pain. I couldn't put weight on that leg & could hardly walk. My knee would buckle on me constantly. I felt like I was facing a future in a wheelchair. The program consisted of 3 platelet rich plasma knee injections, using your own blood & an umbilical cord stem cell injection to help regrow your knee cartiledge. They used a heel wedge in my shoe to shift the bones & straighten my leg. Well a little over a month out, I have to say I am super impressed with the results so far & it could still take up to a year for the cartiledge to completely regenerate. My leg is significantly straighter & I have so much less pain. Almost pain free at times. So much better than my surgically fixed knee that still hurts. I'm walking faster, able to start putting weight on it climbing stairs & able to work out with ankle weights on. Something I haven't been able to do in years! In just over a month!!! I went for physical therapy following a total hip replacement of my right hip and worked with Felisha, who was FANTASTIC. The first thing she asked was, "What are your goals, and what do you want to be able to do when you're done with physical therapy?" Great question, since some people simply want to be able to navigate their day without pain, and others like me want to be able to live active lifestyles and do more. She worked with me, encouraged and supported me, and got me exactly where I wanted to be. She's excellent at what she does, and even when I had slight doubts about where I'd end up, I had great faith in HER. I like how detailed she is, explaining how the body works, and what the end result will be by working on strength, endurance and range of motion. I also had a chance to work with Harnisha and Gaelen, who were wonderful. And Michelle at the front desk is a real sweetheart and the perfect person to be the first encounter in the facility. My orthopedic doctor is with ILBJ in Arlington Heights, and I didn't want to drive that distance twice a week, so finding they had physical therapy in Libertyville was a godsend. I just finished p.t. a couple days ago and couldn't be happier with the results. I HIGHLY recommend them.

I get there, the front desk staff lady ( I wish I could remember her name). I believe she was of asian descent. Anywho, RUDE and acted as if I didn't matter. She got the nurse I spoke with and they proceeded to talk about the front desk staffs nails as if I wasn't standing there. I have NEVER received such terrible service from a doctors office. The nurse even told me that we had not had the conversation and told me I was lying. REALLY??? Would I take off work early, make up a doctors appointment all for the hell of it? NOT!!! Very sad! I have never been treated as they treated me in that office that day. I will not ever go to that location again...

I've been going here for almost a year so this review is long overdue. I love this place! Dr Ryan and Jen are great. The place is always clean and fresh. I'm a fan of new technology and advancements so this is not your average chiropractic office where it's just a few massage tables and a skeleton. It's a one-stop shop here! They have the latest and greatest in chiropractic tools and equipment. Another feature is a physical therapy area to show you strengthening exercises and stretch techniques. Every time I leave this place I feel rejuvenated! A huge plus is now this place is covered under the Veteran Affairs Health System so my visits are no cost to me as long as my VA primary doctor keeps referring me. After over 2 years of going to specialist after specialist to find out what is causing my chronic pain I reluctantly went to Straight Up Spine because I've always been afraid to go to a chiropractor Dr Ryan gave me diagnosis after just one office visit and one X-ray combined with the stack of reports, mri's and ct scans. I've now been seeing Dr Ryan for several weeks and he has taken me from bad days and worse days to bearable days and bad days which I consider a huge improvement in such a short amount of time and with each office visit there is a noticeable improvement. I cannot say enough good about Dr Ryan and his staff. They are taking my paiaway from me and even though I pay for their service I owe them a debt I will never be able to repay. It's going on a year since I've found Dr Ryan and my days are getting better and pain manageable. I always feel better leaving his office and usually leave with newly gained knowledge from Dr Ryan on how to manage my condition and pain. Today was no exception, getting more aggressive in my treatment but that shows me he is on top of my treatment plan. Again I say I can't say enough good about Dr Ryan and Jenna in the care I'm given.
