It's been quite some time since I was able to return to this nail salon but today I was able to walk in without an appointment. I had an old dip manicure that was removed so carefully and nicely and then I decided to go for a gel manicure while there. Very happy with my decision to return to this salon! It's clean, everyone is friendly, and my manicurist, Ryan, really took the time to make sure my nails looked absolutely perfect! Venue: There was plenty of parking when we first rolled up. The inside is very nice abs clean as well as spacious. Decor is nice. Kind of quiet besides the normal conversation. Price: The prices were normal for a nail salon. I got SNS as well as a pedicure for 55 dollars which is not bad. When we first walked in it almost felt like we had walked into someones home announced. Everyone looked at us like ummm what are you doing here. Then this guy asked what are you getting done. We just stood there awkwardly like ok. Anyways, nail tech Vicky I believe her name was (so sorry if that's wrong) she did my nails and was a super cool girl. I liked how she did my nails and listened when I told her if I did not like something. My friend had another nail tech do her nails and she was soooo disappointed. The lady had cut her and she felt like she rushed on it. I liked how the utensils they are going to use on your nails come in a bag that has been sanitize. Also how another lady (might be the boss) walked around and inspected others work when she was not working on nails to ensure they looked good. Would I come back? This was a great find. Wasn't sure where to go. Just needed regular manicure with simple polish. No gel or acrylic. Just my nails. It was late afternoon...I called and learned they could take me. I came to Ivy Nails after reading the great reviews to have my nails done for my wedding. I had a gel French manicure done as well as a pedicure. The establishment is clean and nicely decorated and all the employees are very nice. My manicure initially looked great and I was so happy and excited for my big day. However, by the time I reached my wedding (2 days later) the gel had started cracking which is something I've never had happen with shellac before. Within four days it had begun chipping and peeling away. I'm not rough on my hands and don't do anything that would explain this Typically shellac lasts 2+ weeks on me so I'm pretty disappointed in the cracking and chipping as I did t get to have pretty nails on my honeymoon and spent a fortune basically for only four days. read more

I visited this salon and I must say it was a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly and professional. I stopped by on a whim as I needed a pedicure. The massage was wonderful and they took their time. Unlike someone places it seems like you are rushed. The lady who assisted me made sure I was satisfied with the work which I really appreciated. The atmosphere is very relaxing and very clean. I also appreciated that they opened up a new pack on tools to use on me. They recently opened so there's a special till 8/31/2017. I really wanted to love this place. The staff is friendly, the place is clean and has a cool atmosphere, and it feels very spa like. The bad news is my powder dip nails were pretty horrible. They were very thick and began to lift in a week. They looked a wrecked. I was bummed and had to shell out money for another manicure a week later. Disappointing. I visited Ivy Spa & Nails last week for the first time. My experience at the nail salon was great. The salon was modern and clean, staff was friendly. However, I am very disappointed with my nails overall. I have gotten the dip nail powder at other salons before and my manicure lasted a minimum of 2 weeks, often 3+. Within 6 days of my manicure, I started experience a great amount of chipping. 2 nails even fell off completely clean. I am not hard on my nails either. This should not happen, especially when paying $45 for powder. read more

I decided to try this salon since it was close to work and I was on my way home. I wish I would've read the reviews before doing so. First off, when I sat down she pulled out this warming bowl and filled with remover and pieces of paper towels, I waited to see what this was for and I was told to soak my fingernails while rubbing them against the paper towels that were soaking in there. I have NEVER had to do this at ANY previous salon for SNS. For what I paid to have them done, I expected the nail tech to do that for me not me taking my own off. I went for SNS which is on the website but when I got there they did not have the SNS powder so I thought it couldn't hurt to try what they had. Well, I won't do that again, just after 1 week it had already started to chip on four fingers. AND, I know its harder to get polish off that has glitter/sparkle to it but she didn't even try to get the excess polish off my fingers that happened because I had to soak my fingers instead of them wrapping them to take the old off. I will not go into this salon again, it was not worth the money I paid. Very disappointed. read more
