I think that they did quite a good job on my nails. They look very pretty. My only complaint is a few tiny hairs stuck in the polish and the underside of a few of them have some unsightly blobs of polish left over but it's not a big deal at all as I'm the only one that will notice. I gave this place 3 separate chances within a month or so. 1st time: I made an appointment for a mani/pedi. Came in, had to wait for 15 mins. They were very busy & apparently only 3 people working. Every time. They started with my pedi--the young nail tech acted like she didn't want to be there. Acted like she just wanted to hurry & get done with my pedi. Didn't talk at all. Not friendly. & this tech was wearing a dress with NO underwear!! I saw things I did not want to see...finally Ivy was ready. She would start on my nails & then get up to check someone out or to help with someone else's nails MULTIPLE times...it was rude & I was there for hours! My nails did look great..so I decided to give it another shot..figured I would try back when it wasn't so busy. 2nd time: I came in to have my dip filled. while ivy was watching TV (& yelling at her kids that were there the whole time) she was instructing the other nail tech there how to fill my dip. Again, I was there for about 2 HOURS for a dip mani. This nail tech seemed super unhappy & irritated with her work environment. It was uncomfortable & not relaxing. My nails did look nice...so I decided I'll go back one more time & make sure I get someone else to do my nails... 3rd time: ivy was on vacation. So I had the same nail tech as before, Nia? I had called ahead of time & asked how long it was going to take. I needed my dip removed + new dip. She said it would take maybe 45 mins. I show up & she's the only tech doing nails & someone else had come in, so once again, I had to wait even though I had called before hand. She put foils on my nails for 45 MINS!! It was an hour I waited before she actually started working on my nails, & once again, it took FOREVER. Meanwhile the other pedi tech kept staring at me & the conversation between the nail techs was very awkward & once again she seemed like she was unhappy there. I left with beautiful nails again but this time it took about 2.5 HOURS!! That was the last straw. I had dip mani done a couple times since other places & it took 45 mins tops. I wanted this salon to workout because of the decent pricing & convenient location, but it was honestly not worth spending 2+ hours each time to get a mani..also, whoever does your nails will take your tip, which is super awkward & unprofessional. I think Ivy would have a nice business if she had different techs. I (& all other people that get these services) pay good money to be pampered & have some relaxation time. None of the times I was there did that ever happen. read more

While I love the shape and design of my nails, it is not something that should've taken 3 hours to do while damaging my cuticles. The first nail tech I had claimed she could do the design I wanted, but she proceeded to mess it up, take it off aggressively, and storm off telling me someone else would do it. She also cut open/damaged two of my cuticles, one of which bled and I had to clean up. The second nail tech (who I believe was the owner) did a great job fixing them up, but there are still some small mistakes and there are some small hairs stuck in the nail. So overall, I like the nails enough to keep them on, but not enough to go back. read more

I went in with an appointment and I sat there and watched as two women walked in and got serviced. I had to wait a half hour before my nails were even looked at. On top of that the woman who did my nails duh into my skin with the file so hard I have a scab. The nail design charged me 10 extra but she didn't even do it right and basically gave up. I could totally tell the they were talking about me as well. I'm incredibly dissatisfied. read more

I understand many businesses are suffering from staffing shortages these days. I had a 3 o'clock appointment, but when I arrived I told they were a little bit behind. I sat down and started reading magazines waiting for my turn. 45 minutes later I was sitting there looking at other people who had come in after me get served. I asked what was going on and they said maybe another 15 minutes. If it was going to take an hour after my scheduled appointment, they could've been courteous enough to tell me when I walked in. I was so mad. I could've gone and come back and not wasted an hour of my time. Because of her lack of consideration I got up and left. I will never go back again read more

Their work is fine but no one here ever smiles. It's like they are all being held here against their will. *blink twice if you want me to save you!* Even the owner seems unfriendly. They are very kind but sadly they are understaffed so it puts a lot of pressure on them when it gets busy. It took some time for my pedicure to start since I had to soak for 20 min patiently. My pedicure was great though! Just make sure you give yourself time before coming here (aka don't be in a rush like I kind of was). read more

I would never go to this salon again! The lady was very rude! I called to make an appt and she scheduled so many at one time. She also gave me a different price when I got there, stating the length desired and the shape was all extra $$$. I have been to many nail salons...I know Acrylic and Gel are different amounts as well as dipped nails and Shellac but the length and shape??? came here one time and my first experience was alright--I got my acrylics put on by someone who was pretty new, but I was fine with it. flash forward a couple days (seriously like 2 days) and I only have 6 nails left. I come in to get them repaired and the owner tells me that I "didn't get my nails done there" (which I most definitely did!!!) and then she charged me for fixing them. I recently moved to the area and was in search of a new nail place. I read good reviews on FB about this place so decided to give it a go. We came in about a half hour after opening. When my sister, niece and I walked in there was the owner, his wife and their 4 kids hanging out with no customers. I asked if they were open and they said, yes. I told them we wanted 3 manicures and pedicures. We asked if there were more people available to do manicures and pedicures as we wanted to have them done at the same time and not have one of us done before the other and have to wait forever. After our feet were already in the pedicure bowls, she informed us she had to call one of her manicurist in and she would be there shortly. The husband then left leaving just the 1 owner there to handle all 3 of our manicures and pedicures. About 25 minutes later one of her manicurist showed up. Meanwhile my niece had already finished and now my sister and I were still left. About an hour and a half after we initially arrived, our pedicures were finished. We should have left at that point but since she had already started my nieces nails we decided to have ours done. After over an hour of the girl working on my nails, I finally got up and walked out. See picture below of my lumpy nails. The manicurist filed the dip powder off and kept recoating it. After this went on for 30 minutes, I knew it couldn't be fixed. Not to mention the bottles of nail polish were crusty, full of little hairs and it was dirty in there! I would never go there again! read more

Absolute worst pedicure of my life. My feet looked better before I went in there. They did not attempt to scrub dead skin or Pumice any rough spots. They left my feet dry and flaky. Polish looked like a child did it, was not clean or smooth. The price they charge for the quality they give is ridiculous. read more

Went to this place for a manicure and pedicure. It was AWFUL! The owner (the guy) was so incredibly rude. The wait was ridiculous. The tools were dirty, the salon was dirty and my manicure was so bad I had to go home and take it off. It looked like a 5 year old did it. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Went to Ivy's for mani/pedis last week. I saw that there prices were good and they were new so I figured I would try it. I went with my sister and we walked in with no other customers there. I waited 45 minutes in the chair for them to start my pedicure, and he rushed through the pedicure. I didn't even have time to get my nails done. I feel bad because they had their children there and they were precious but one of them kept putting his bottle in my foot tub and splashing around like it was a pool. It was not appropriate. When my pedicure was finally finished some of my nails were crooked and he didn't cut them he only filed them. I was pretty disappointed and I hope others have had better experiences. read more

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I have tried going there at 3 different occasions and each time was a different time of day, all 3 times I was sent away and told to come back another time. Most of these occasions there was hardly anyone even in the salon. The one and only time I was successful in getting a seat my pedicure took over an hour and because it was so time consuming I ran out of time to get my manicure. I would rather drive further to give my business to someone who will appreciate it. read more

HORRIBLE. I would never request this salon even to my worst enemy. I got a manicure with shellac and asked if they gave a student discount, she said yes they do but my service is too cheap to get it ($30) she told me I would have to get the "cat eye" nail polish which is $5 more. I explained that I just wanted a simple color and she forced me to get it. After not taking no for an answer I decided to get it because I was sick of arguing. Tech didn't even shape my nails woth a file and only cleared some of my cuticles. My one nail was cracked towards the bottom and I pointed it out and she said that the polish would fix it (I've had my nails done many times and they have always fixed it when a nail is cracked). My shellac started peeling off 4 days later. Worst nail salon I have ever been to. read more

I went for a manicure and pedicure with Shellac. It was not very busy and they got me in quickly. I'm not sure if the person I had was new or not, but she did not do the best job. I felt as if she was just going through the motions, not doing a quality service. At the beginning I showed a picture of some detailing I wanted done and she said that she could do it. It was very messy, and even though she redid the design a few times, it was still quite disappointing, very amateur. I will not be back. Certainly wasn't worth $72! read more

I took an appointment for getting my nails done, which takes only half an hour but instead the whole service took about 1.5 hrs to complete...Reason: Long wait time!!If you guys cannot finish a service at a scheduled time, then why do u give an appointment to other customer at the same time frame? Don't ever go here. It is a disgusting place. They do not wash their utensils and they are never on time with appointments. The owner brings her kids in and lets them play with whatever and it is not relaxing at all. I got a toe fungus after getting a pedicure done from there so CLEARLY they do NOT properly wash their tools. I highly suggest to pick another nail salon. read more

This is a great place to get your nails done. I have had a very relaxing pedicure and Ivy did an excellent job with pink and white gel nails. It's a small shop, so appointments are a good idea, but if you walk in, you will get a pretty accurate assessment of wait time. Clear English is spoken here, and it made it very easy to communicate and get exactly what I wanted. read more
